Summary: First thing to note is that this was a takeaway order. But, I would go back for more chicken, but I would pass on the fries. This chicken aimed a little more dry and crunchy, which was good in it's own right but I also like some more juiciness (especially in thigh meat). Beware if you have a peanut allergy, because this smelled strongly of peanut oil. Good: Savory, crunchy, rich fried chicken. Good burger sizes. Quick service (seems fried on demand within 10-15 mins). I liked their house sauce. I remember being pleasantly intrigued by the different features of this chicken sandwich over others I had previously. Interested in going back to try a bucket or other chicken items. Bad: The fries were inherently limp (maybe because of the 10 minute walk in a closed box covered in sauce), but it seemed like the base cook was more similar to a baked french fry than a fried one. Most all of the flavors were savory and rich, so I would have liked to have seen more bright and acidic notes from the sauce or the slaw. The menu says the bucket comes with 2 legs, 1 thigh, and 2 breast but we got no breast. The bucket was also SPICY, not sure if they just made the wrong order or if their non-spicy option is just actually spicy. It didn't taste bad, kinda reminds me of tandoori spices a bit. We ordered through Doordash and it took 30-40 mins to arrive. I was really excited to try this place out. The price is pricey but it's Halal so I figured it's worth trying. I ordered 20 party wings and Yorker burger. The wings- They give the option toss the wings in the sauce, I chose that.. they have chili garlic sauce, I chose that.. It was disappointing! It looks like they pour the sauce on the wings and the sauce has zero garlic taste. The wings was coated in what looks like panko scrumbs, not like KFC or Bonchon or Wingstop. It tasted so ordinary, the sauce tastes like asian chili sauce from the bottle they sell in the market. The burger - well for a $12.99 burger I expect fries on the side and a soda. Wow! This place is awesome. How did I not know about this place before? The employees are very friendly, portions are super generous, and food is delicious. We got the beamer sandwich and the 3-piece combo, and even though we had to drive home 15+ minutes, the food was still perfectly crispy when we got back. If I could give 6 stars I would! My husband is an avid fried chicken fan so when we saw the Halal week special here, we had to go! We ordered 2 of the Halal week specials ($8 for 5 pieces) and a Bouncer sandwich. Service was great! The person taking our order was so kind as well as the owner. They were very appreciative of their customers and that fully came across. We waited about 30 minutes for our order (it was peak hours) and the food was definitely worth the wait! Small unassuming place in a small open mall. The guys taking orders are very friendly and service is punctual. The chicken sandwiches (the bouncer and the bigger Beamer) however are AMAZING! The price was pretty decent and the selection is small but good choices to have. The quality of the food was really good, they used a lovely brioche bun which I was surprised by since their adverts appear to use a lower quality bun. If I had to describe it, it was in between crispy Korean /Karaage and American style. My sandwich came with cheese, which I was also pleased that it was actual cheddar and not a gross American single. The cost was kinda high with the combo, we spent about $30 for 2 combos that included a soda and fries. A little pricey for chicken sandwiches. I would recommend 1 fry to share maybe, and again the sodas are just canned. My meal came with a complimentary side of cole slaw which was nothing special, but i got a spicy sauce on the side which was FANTASTIC with the Cajun fries. I hope the sauce is included with every meal, I kinda wish there was more of it since it was only enough for 1 person (1 spicy loving person) That said I would eat here again! Called in my order and paid with credit card when I got to the restaurant during shelter in place. The batter here is really unique. It's hard to capture in words exactly so I'll just say it is lighter, crispier, and less oily than your typical fried batter. A couple of negative thing I'll point out is that the batter tasted under-seasoned which was most noticeable when I was eating just fried chicken pieces. On the other hand, eating one of their fried chicken sandwiches, the "Yorker", the under-seasoned chicken was actually good alongside the other salty ingredients. Also, the boneless chicken pieces could also get a little dry around the edges so I'd stick with the bone-in chicken. The problem is that the chicken, the fries, and the coleslaw were all terrible. I only give 1 star when I can't tolerate finishing the food. The fries were shoestring cardboard. The coleslaw was swimming in an odd-tasting mayonaise; there was probably more sauce than slaw. The chicken was probably over-brined and -- as a guess -- hit with too much baking soda.
