The food was pretty good. But it was a terrible experience when we went to pay only to find out the menu prices on Yelp are all wrong and apparently they don't care to update them. They weren't very sympathetic about misleading their customers either. Made some excuse about DoorDash prices being up to date. Ok, how does that help me not feel bait-and-switched? Lame. The Baby Lamb Chops Combo was $16.99 on the Yelp menu, $22.99 in-store. The Chicken Tikka Combo was $9.99 on the Yelp menu, $13.99 in-store. Obviously not a casual mistake, and kind of a big deal not to make their recent price changes clear to callers. Would have been a new go-to local place for us, but instead we won't be back. Food decent but workers don't wear their masks properly. At least one of four employees wore his mask on his chin only and two of them didn't cover their noses. Talking over the food and to each other shoulder to shoulder risks the owner's business and employees' health. I also saw them not wearing gloves. Feel uneasy about eating the food I picked up. Aye here 3 times and every time the food was great. 1st time we had the family dish 4-5 people. You get a lot of food for the money. All the kabobs were moist and tasty. Rice by itself was good too. Also had they chicken burger which was great caused thy used the same ground chicken mixture as the chicken kabob. Stumbled across this place at a festival in downtown Berkley this evening, not sure what festival it was but we love halal so we hopped in line. Apparently everyone loves halal because after we hooped in line, another 10-15 quickly hoped in line behind us. I've had the halal guys in New York and also the halal cart in SF the financial district . I would rate the good 3.5 since the portions are very small compared to the other 2, and pricing is a bit higher. Also the hot sauce and white sauce are not available , instead it comes already added onto your food. However the service was very kind so that rounded up the food from 3.5 to 4. If they can increase their portion size, add a little more flavor to the meats, and let us put the sauces on ourselves , I would rate 5 stars for sure. read more

First timers to this place. Food was great. I could drink their sauce. I had the lamb gyro and my wife had the falafel. Both awesome. Theo pita is fluffy and flavorful. They need a little lesson in making French fries, they needed to be a bit more crispy, but the flavor was there. I would totally recommend, but bring cash because they charge you a fee to use a card. The chicken zinger is not good. Hard, dry, over cooked piece of chicken with yellow American cheese, spicy thousand island, Mayo and iceberg lettuce with white onions. Very cheap. Spend a little more at lados in Sunnyvale (10 minutes away) and get food 100 times better. read more

The man who runs this place is really sweet and helpful, and they get your food out to you crazy fast! Prices are reasonable, and the portions are pretty huge! The taste was solid and overall I had a GREAT experience here. For two people, we got a lamb plate (comes with salad, ton of rice, and two kinds of prepared lamb) and a lamb gyro plate (comes with a HUGE gyro, side of fries, and a drink) and we were stuffed after. My favorite things were the fries, rice, and the gyro as a whole (the lamb had a crisp to it that was great). The rice was flavorful, and the meat on the rice plate was cooked well and tasty especially with their white sauce! Its located in a food center next to tech companies, and was easy to find parking on a weekend. Excellent food and excellent service! I ordered the 5-6 people platter which is the photo attached. The meal could easily fill 7 people as I had plenty of leftovers after eating the meal with my family. The workers of the restaurant are very friendly too! Well, someone said it well in another review that the rice and sauce are amazing. I personally prefer the quality and taste of the chicken more than the beef and lamb, but once you add that sauce on it, everything tastes good. It's like Halal Guys, but better quality. The chicken over rice and lamb over rice are my favorite dishes. I also enjoy the grilled chicken cubes, that is my favorite meat in terms of quality and juiciness. Okay to celebrate my coworker and I last meal together for a while due to the Covid19, I wanted to get some good food enjoy my company and support the business. I bought lunch for me and my 2 coworker & dinner for my family. I had the marsala meal (everything was delicious and a little warning on the orange sauce wow that stuff is spicy, like it gave me a hiccup spicy but oh so delicious with the bread). The salad and dressing was soo good. My coworker ordered the lamb and chicken meal, they gave so much that he only ate half and he's taking the other half for dinner. He made me look like a pig, as I finished every grain of rice from my plate. I love me some Chick-Fil-A, however I always crave it on Sundays and we all know they're closed on Sundays... My cousins actually found out about this place and recommended it to me and also recommended to get their Zigger Burger (spicy chicken sandwich).
