Amazing hole in the wall spot. Portions are very generous and the food is delicious. Probably one of my favorite variations of a cheesesteak and the gyro was great as well! Is it bad that I had to come back the next day? I totally intended on trying their pizza and wings this time, but as soon as my kiddos saw "gyro" on the menu, the deal was sealed. They loved it and I am pretty sure I heard "this is the best gyro I've ever had" from one of them. One order can truly feed 2! read more

Yelp did not steer me wrong with this delicious find. Another strip mall treasure that can be easily overlooked if you aren't looking for it but I'm so glad I found it. This is definitely a mom-and-pop type Halal store/Pizzeria. Upon entering I was greeted by a gentleman asking if he could help me, I advised that I order pizza over the phone. We chatted about how I found them while my food was finished. Once ready he recalled my order and showed me what the food looked like, rang me up, and asked me to leave a Google review whether I liked it or not. Unfortunately, I'm not one for Google reviews - I'm more of a yelper, lol. By the time I made it home my food was piping hot, I actually cheated at the red light and bit into one of my mango habanero wings and knew right away that I found a gem! Along with an 8-piece wing, I also ordered a large half supreme/half pepperoni pizza. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, and my kids asked for seconds which is always a tell of how good something is because they are the pickiest of eaters. I'm new to Jacksonville and still navigating the food scene. My first meal here were outstanding wings that were prepared in a timely manner the owner couldn't have been more pleasant and hospitable. The following day I made an order for my entire family. It was wings, a large meat lovers pizza and a calzone. My family of 6 were stuffed after a slice, a piece of calzone and 2 wings. The portions are budget friendly. By far my favorite dish is the calzone. The combination of the genuinely friendly owner and good food will make me want to return. read more

Called to see if they had beef bacon which the man said they did. I went to pick it up and make some for breakfast on Saturday. My boyfriend does not eat pork so we have been looking for something just as good as bacon but not pork. Let me tell you.... This beef bacon was out of this world!! Hidden Gem! I've seen this on Yelp for a few years but they do not have a sign up above their store so I always thought they were out of business. Rest assure, they are not! They are very much open! It's on the way home from work so it's very convenient. I ordered a small cheese/pepperoni pizza to-go yesterday and it was delicious! The owner was very friendly! This business is a small Middle Eastern grocer and also has a kitchen. I would recommend to-go, there is only a small area to sit and eat. I'm anxious to try the Philly Cheese steak... that's next! I've been to this place a few times and the food is always great and consistent! Pizza, calzones, and Strombolis are always always cooked to perfection. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews because the shop's been around for a while. I've driven here from Orlando just to have the stromboli because it's not easy to find halal stromboli- especially when it tastes this good. This time I got a small stromboli and it's big enough for two or even three people to share. The grilled chicken sub was delicious too. I highly recommend the food here! read more

I really hate giving a bad review to a halal establishment, but really disappointed. Drove 30 miles to get halal pepperoni for my four year old. Got to the restaurant around 12pm and the door was locked. Was supposed to be open at 10am. No one was there. Called the number and it rang. No voicemail about closure. No sign on the door about it being closed. Very frustrating. Don't plan around this place if they just close when they feel like it and don't notify anyone. read more

Omg, this is the best pizza I have eaten outside of NYC. In fact, I've heard the owners are from NY and spent many years working at a pizza parlor in NYC, so that explains why the pizza stands out from the competition. This business provides generous toppings and the crust is the perfect blend of crisp and bread flesh (i just made up that term) instead of having a mushy bread consistency, like some franchise pizzerias. You will not miss having pork on your pizza because the beef sausage and pepperoni are well seasoned and hit the spot. I highly recommend this restaurant. The owners are really nice, too.
