Burger, Fish Tacos, Mac n cheese

Spent the day at the pool and decided to order food. It was decent for poolside food, nothing great, nothing bad. Service was good - they had just opened around 11ish and stopped by a few times during our stay at the pool/lagoon. We ordered a burger, fish tacos, and Mac n cheese with fries.

Pool side service was great! Very happy with our choices. Everything was delicious. The pretzel sticks were so soft and delicious. Pizza was a great size and the fish and poke was light with great flavor

Solid food and drinks, poolside at the Grand Hyatt. Nothing fancy here. Grab some ahi poke tacos, nachos or a quesadilla and a Lava Flow or another cocktail. Good stuff.

My favorite bar! Spectacular outdoor location with amazing views of the pool & the ocean. The food & drinks are also pretty good. Ordered the Mango Green Dream - sooo good. Was immediately hooked. Went back to have that drink as many times as I could. Also tried the Lava Flow, it was good but the Mango Green was just something else. Ordered some fish tacos, really enjoyed them & in fact went back to get more! The chicken wings were average. Nicest & coolest waitress. She was friendly & helpful with the menu. Thank you for a great experience.

It was good. The flavors were fresh, but. Needed more salt and flap it's i my opinion. Also the service was very slow. At least they give you large enough portions.

Short Rib Sliders - nice use of grilled Hawaiian sweet bread for the buns. 4 stars.

This restaurant is basically the poolside restaurant at the Grand Hyatt Kauai. If you were to order drinks or snacks (nachos, loaded fries, burgers, etc) from the pool or outdoor lounge area from a waitress,'chances are the food came from this place. We came here for a quick lunch after checking out of the hotel. Wife got the mahi mahi fish tacos, while I got the short rib sliders. I think the sliders were the better dish nice use of Hawaiian sweet bread as the bun. Meat was seasoned well. The tacos were okay as well - nothing too remarkable. Probably far below in quality compared to any the poolside restaurants from the Cancun all-inclusive resorts we've been to. Still, not a bad option if you're in a real hurry and just want a quite bite.

    Nachos

Good value for what it is and the location you're in. It can be very expensive in the area, so this is a nice way to save a little while still enjoying the pool.

    Kalua pork sandwich

I needed to grab a bite before I checked out of the hotel so this was really convenient. There were quite a number of food options from healthier salads to unhealthy burgers and kalua pork sandwiches. Guess which I got. You'd be correct if you said kalua pork! I'm not a health nut and am not in Hawaii to go on a diet, but boy was this sandwich not good for me. There was orange oil dripping from it, and they gilded the lily when they topped the pork with two onion rings. Talk about 400 extra calories I didn't need. I must've been really hungry because it actually tasted decent.

Flashback price on chicken wing of $0.25 each, max 10 per person. We ordered 20 buffalo wings and fish tacos. They have a great selection of the local Kauai Brewing Company beers, another reason we want to try this place. We started we the pale ale and the Cook IPA. Cold, tasty and refreshing. We also tried the chicken IPA and Fonz IPA. All were great! Our favorite was the Cook IPA. The chicken wings had a nice heat level and were perfect accompanied by beer. The first time we spent just over $100 for a family of 5, and last night we got out of there for $88. That is a feat in this part of town! The happy hour is unbeatable. $7 drinks and 25 cent wings. Note that you have to have minimum two drinks per person, but they don't have to be alcoholic--we got a cocktail as our first and soda water as the second. The cocktails are quite large, so you can still get the $7 price if you order a soda or sparkling water as your second drink. The waitress was super helpful and let us know that last night! We went for taco Tuesday yesterday and the tacos were $1 each! They were good--not insane but great for the price and hit the spot. The service is great and the food and drinks come out quickly despite being busy. The drinks are standard fare, nothing crazy delicious, but for the price it's great. The food is all yummy. We especially love their chicken wings! Home-fried and lots of meat. All of the dipping sauces are excellent too. We haven't had a bad dish here! Truly wonderful prices, good food, and great for the whole family.
