This very cute and tiny corner café recently opened this week on this quiet stretch of Astoria Blvd. They serve hot & cold beverages, bubble waffles, ice cream (soft serve and ice cream rolls) and other baked goods. The café interior is small with one table inside and another one outside. Strangely, there's also a connecting door to it's neighboring business, Studio 23 Beauty Center. Not sure if they are affiliated or what. I'm a sucker for bubble waffles and I think they are so fun to eat so I ordered the Bubble Strawberry Nutella. The bubble waffle was delicious! The outside was crisp, and the center was slightly sweet. It was topped with strawberries, Nutella, whipped cream, and slivers of almonds. I really loved the combo of the crips, chewy waffle with the fresh strawberries and crunchy nuts. The Bubble Strawberry comes with a scoop of ice cream, but I opted to not have it as I was taking this to go, and the ice cream would not have made the travel. They had other baked goods on display, but I noticed that they also sell cookies from the Sexy Batch Baking Co. I ended up getting 3 cookies: the Nutella Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip with Himalayan Pink Salt and the Playground cookie. The Nutella Chocolate Chip cookie was yummy. You really can't go wrong with Nutella in a cookie. The Playgound cookie was just okay, but thought it was interesting that it had marshmallows and potato chips in it. And I didn't really care for the Chocolate Chip with Himalayan Pink Salt. I usually love chocolate chip cookies with sea salt so I thought I would like this one too, but I was wrong. The Himalayan Pink Salt was just too overpowering, and the pieces of salt were so large. It was just too salty for me. Still a nice visit overall and I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu.

My new obsession. So cute inside and the Oreo milkshake was amazing. I'll come back to try some of the other shakes, smoothies, bubble waffles and food. It was busy inside so I took my shake to go.

A strange menu concept? Honestly, I was trying to figure out the purpose of their menu. They were mixing savory cheese with ice cream and fruit, which I found rather strange and unpleasant. I mean, why should my ice cream have grated cheese in it? I appreciate the original concept of half and half, but menu items were a little off-putting!

This waffles are the best. I love them so much specially this beautiful pregnancy . Service is great, but is only one person working in the place so they take some time to prepare your order.

She was the only server there and did a fantastic job. We got the Buffalo mac and cheese balls as a starter and they were so good! kid friendly but had a tiny kick to it. I got the crispy chicken and gravy with the mac and cheese and mexican street corn and there is literally not a single complaint. My mom also got the crispy chicken and mac and cheese but she got the tater tots and they had a nice flavor and were crispy but not burnt (EXACTLY how she ordered them). My sister got the bedrock pancakes and while they looked way too sweet for me she LOVED them. We also got the Nutella Ella Ella Aye milkshake and it looked so good and tasted even better. This will definitely be a place that I will be going back to on my next trip.

I thought it would have been a slight drizzle--not drenched like gravy and biscuits. Was disappointing. Not to mention it was very expensive. Not returning. They weren't very friendly either. So n can't really say it was remotely worth it.

When we…read morearrived, the hostess guided us to one of their private rooms downstairs, which was spacious enough to comfortably fit around 20-25 people--perfect for a group celebration. We had our own dedicated server, which made everything feel really seamless. They kept our drinks flowing the entire time, and it was a huge plus not having to flag anyone down. For food, I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. The coleslaw on it added great flavor (honestly, I just wish there was a bit more of it). It came with fries that were perfectly crispy--exactly how fries should be. Overall, I had a really enjoyable time. If I'm ever back in the neighborhood or if anyone asks me for a good brunch spot for groups, I'd definitely recommend this place.

My partner started off with a bloody mary which he thoroughly enjoyed (and considered opting for a bottomless brunch option until i reminded him that he drove here). I got the lemon ricotta pancakes which was pleasantly sweet, without the drizzle being too overpowering. The fresh fruits complimented the fluffy stacks of pancakes and was perfect for a light meal. My partner on the other hand, was famished and ordered the steak and eggs which he happily devoured. Service was great, our server was very attentive and never had us wait. I would highly recommend coming here for brunch!

THE GOOD ----------------…read more+ SUPER lively atmosphere for brunch. ++++ Was here from 1-4 PM on a November Saturday and the restaurant was packed to the gills throughout. ++++ Music was pumping with mix of pop songs, but a bit on the loud side to the point it was hard to hear others at our table. ++++ Crowd was young and trendy. Almost felt like we were at a lounge. ++++ Restaurant had plenty of seats and tables, but, it's best to make a reservation if you don't want to wait. ++++ Great for large groups and large group reservations can be made by calling them. + Food is pretty much on par with other good brunch restaurants I've been to. ++++ Menu had plenty to choose from, including Fall Specials. ++++ Breakfast burger was solid. Burger was cooked medium well instead of the requested medium, but, nevertheless it was still good. Runny egg was perfect and fries were supppper crispy the way I like it. ++++ Skillet Baked Eggs also were fantastic. Lots of cheese and very tasty. ++++ Three Cheese Omelette was huge. Plenty of home fries on the plate and the omelette was perfect for the kids. ++++ Friends ordered other brunch entrees and didn't hear a single complaint. + Service was excellent throughout. Our food came out fairly quickly. + Making a reservation for a group of 13 was easy through the phone and I received a resy email confirmation after. + Our connected tables were ready exactly when we needed it. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - As mentioned earlier, if you're coming here for a quiet, peaceful brunch, this might not be the spot for you. Music was louder than preferred for chatting. MIXED THOUGHTS --------------------------- = Nada. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = There is also a decent size outdoor seating area for the warmer months.

It's super Instagrammable, I love the seats situated within the heart and all of the flowers and greenery in this place. There are a few limited food options, but overall this is a cafe that also serves beer and wine (and the occasional frose, yay). Almost all of the times I've been in here (save for this last time) service is fast and friendly - but on my last visit the guy seemed like he was struggling to get orders out and keep the line moving. There were two folks ahead of me and the first one had multiple orders, so I figured there'd be a bit of a wait. Around 15 minutes later or so it was my turn to order, and I asked about the teas. The iced options were either sweetened with caffeine, or unsweetened without caffeine - I'd been hoping for something iced and unsweetened. When I asked about green tea he said he had none made, but didn't offer making it for me as an option. We awkwardly stood there for a few moments more as I waited to see if he might say this was something he could do. Eventually I cut my losses and said thanks anyway.
