We ordered the fried green tomato and crab cake appetizer. Then I went wild card and got the pot pie. Other entrees were red fish, voodoo shrimp, royal reds and seafood platter. The pot pie was to die for. I would have never ordered it, but after the waiter description I was sold. It's a lot of food. But so memorable. Not over priced. Great bar selection with good wine list. This is probably my favorite restaurant in Biloxi. The food was amazing! So good we went back there twice in our stay. Our first server was amazing (she had glasses) and very attentive. The husband and I stopped here for brunch/lunch on our way to New Orleans. We easily parked on the street in front of the restaurant, though they also have a good-sized parking lot. We were seated immediately, but I noted that, while the 4 tops around us had couples at them, we were seated at a 2 top across a narrow aisle from a 4 top. This rapidly become frustrating, as (1) we ordered several items, which barely fit on the table, (2) we had a front row seat to the man at the next table's vaguely inappropriate comments to their waitress, and (3) while the restaurant was not deserted, it was certainly not so busy that they could not have given us a 4 top. We got an order of crab cakes, which were delicious. The raw oysters were good, but the shells were not thoroughly scrubbed. Getting grit and dirt on your hands from handling oyster shells is kinda gross, guys. The royal red shrimp were good, but as another reviewer noted, they are not only still in their shells, but not de-veined. Also, it seemed like a couple of them might have gotten stuck in the bottom of the pot or something, because they were weirdly soft or overcooked in texture or something. Very off-putting. Finally, the tempura asparagus was not really tempura, but rather just battered and fried. The batter came off easily, leaving me with some pretty plain asparagus. Service was ok, but not great. For instance, getting the check picked up so we could pay or leave took entirely too long. Additionally, as I mentioned, we spent a good portion of our meal with a waitress standing with her back to our table dealing with comments like "Your name is Diamond? Is your last name 'in the rough'? Hardy har har" from the next table. I would have enjoyed our meal much more if we hadn't been crammed in so closely, and so needlessly. Overall, it was fine, but for a $55 lunch, I wouldn't be in a big hurry to go back. read more

We can't say enough great things about this place! The charbroiled oysters 1/2 or whole dozen were fantastic, so was the crab beignets which are a great size and served 5 to a plate. All the dinner choices were fantastic but we fought over the last few bites of sweet potatoes brûlée and crab and corn chowder so be sure to try one or both. First time in Biloxi and I was on the hunt for some good seafood. Several people recommended the Half Shell, so I Ubered over there and bellied up to the bar. I was greeted by Linda, who was both awesome and extremely helpful while I was trying to make a choice from the expansive menu. She even had an oyster freshly shucked and charbroiled at the grill behind the bar so that I could sample one. As awesome as that oyster was, I could not resist ordering the Royal Reds - large deep water shrimp that were boiled and brought out with melted butter. The meat was creamy and slightly sweet and reminded me of lobster. The Reds went great with the spice of the Jalapeño Hush Puppies. My other side, Sweet Potato Creme Brûlée, was incredible and served as my dessert for the evening. If I return to the area this will definitely be my first stop for dinner! read more

Enjoyed sampling the oyster orleans and garlic oysters, and I never thought of myself as a oyster fan. My meal was the shrimp orleans and they were very good as well. The main meals come with two sides and I chose the sweet potato creme brulee and the cheese grits and my taste buds did a happy dance!
