Coffee Jelly Milk pretty tasty. Tastes like it sounds hah
Mimi D.

I really like this place. Another tasty shop in the market to pick up some goodies. They have an entrance directly from the outside as well. Small shop with lots of goodies. Plentiful parking in the free lot. They open early and it's pretty empty if you want something before work. Had to try the coffee jelly milk drink thing my first go. Was really tasty this time. Second time I went it was super sweet which was unexpected. I couldn't drink it. Inconsistent but delicious when not too sweet. Decent selection of sandwiches in their fridge which were good but, surprisingly, no fruit sandwiches! Lots of savory options tho. Service was ok. Which is ok.

Got a loaf from mitsuwa on san gabriel over the weekend. $5.75 for the large white. It's so yummy. I don't think I can go back to commercial loaf or any other bakery's white loaf!! Gotta make time to visit the original café next time! They're a bit of a drive for me.

This was such a cool spot to check out. I saw in Japan they have coffee jelly and i wanted to try. I was kind of disappointed with this one though. It was sweet milk with large pieces of the coffee jelly and i felt the ratio was off. I spent more time chewing than i did drinking. I would have preferred a latte base and then some occasional jellies. I also had a ham and cheese bun that was so moist and flavorful-- delicious. I must come back to this mall to explore more neighboring businesses in the marketplace.

Boloniya Bread (small, $9.95) -- super soft, rich, and lightly sweet.

Did takeout from Hamadaya Bakery, which is attached to Mitsuwa Market, and loved it. It's a quaint, small bakery, but there are so many options - everything from katsu sandos to a great selection of Japanese sweets. We picked up the Boloniya Bread (small, $9.95) and it was amazing - super soft, rich, and lightly sweet, the kind of bread you can enjoy completely on its own. We also ordered two drinks: one matcha with matcha jelly, and the other almond milk with matcha jelly. The matcha itself was high quality and good tasting, with a really nice ice-to-matcha ratio, and the jelly had a soft, silky texture that wasn't overly sweet. Everything worked really well together. Being connected to Mitsuwa Market is a big plus. There's a great food court with plenty of indoor seating and a large outdoor patio, making it an easy place to grab food, meet up with friends, and hang out for a bit. The food court also offers a variety of options at reasonable prices, which adds to the overall appeal of stopping here. Even as a quick takeout stop, this place really stands out. A great spot when you're craving quality Japanese baked goods and drinks.

Cake and cheesecake

This is my first time and it won't be my last. We tried a few items. The blueberry cheesecake, Oreo cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake danish and cheesecake in a cup. The location was small but there was outside seating. The staff was polite and efficient. There was a short line and the breads seem to be very popular. Definitely adding this to my favorites list.

This is a great little bakery! I guess you could say they're "inside" of Mitsuwa, but they have their own entrance and hours (we came in the morning before Mitsuwa was open). The curry pan (or what they call curry "donut") was delicious, just be warned that it can be a little greasy - it is deep fried, after all. They also had a wide variety of sweet pastries as well as some delicious-looking sandwiches - but my stomach can only handle so much pastry in one visit!

TL;DR This bakery is so cozy and the pastries are delicious! It's very clean inside and it has beautiful/elegant decorations. The pastries are generally very good and fresh, I also love the drinks. I would definitely prefer over a place like 85C. The staff is very kind and patient, eager to help.

I've been back here during the mornings recently and this place has gotten much better. It's clear the breads and rolls are cooked in the back and there's some fun pastry creations like wagyu curry. It's very small, but there's lots of choices in the morning.

Within the Mitsuwa in Torrance, you'll find the Hamada ya Bakery. You can go in just for the bakery by what not make the most of the trip and buy some groceries while you're there, too!? It's inside one of my favorite Mitsuwas I've ever been to. I've had a couple of baked goods from their selections and loved them! The chocolate chip cookie is delish. And the chocolate chip croissant? Ummm, even better than the cookie. Trust! Great selection, great prices and everything I've had is tasty. Next time, I'm going to be Mission: Sando and try some of their sandwiches. Nomz.

Japan is one of my all time travel destinations. Aside from Hello Kitty (hehe); they have such amazing food there. I definitely plan to visit Japan again sometime in the future but for now if I want some amazing Japanese treats; then I have to look no further than Hamada ya Bakery. Hamada ya Bakery offers some delicious pastries, snacks and drinks. I love that they offer traditional Japanese sandos here! They their own freshly baked milk bread and fill it with pork cutlet and egg. It truly reminds me of Japan. From their pastries; I enjoy their cream corners and their cream puffs. They're not too sweet and quite light. It makes for a perfect dessert or snack. Thank you to Hamada ya for offering some awesome Japanese snack/sweets right here in Torrance!

This coffee bar is incredible, there is almost always a wait (especially during noon so prepare for…read morethat) but it's always 100% worth it. Their coffee is phenomenal. I have gone with a few people many times and our favorites are: the Spanish latte, Mexican Chai, Chai Latte, and Mocha Latte. The Spanish latte is especially good, and the Chai latte is the best I have had in my life it's so well made. The Mexican Chai I can only describe as a cinnamon heaven with the best Chai base flavor ever. The Mocha latte is heavy in the best way possible, it's super strong and I love it. The best part I think for all the drinks is the baristas do not hold back on the coffee, and you always get your moneys worth. None of it is water down, and it's such a great pick me up. I can't really speak on the Matcha cause no one in my group has tried it since we aren't really big Matcha enjoyers. But I have been told that the strawberry Matcha is transcendent and absolutely fantastic. They have a bunch of Matcha flavor options as well, which would be amazing if I was a Matcha connoisseur, but unfortunately, I'm not . So I can't really speak well on that yet, but have only told fantastic things about it. The workers are all kind and work really fast so you get your drinks really quickly even though the line is pretty long. I will say the best time to go and get drinks is around in the morning when they open around 7:30 on the weekends. Again I have to restate wait is always 100% worth it for the amazing quality drinks you will get. I also forgot to mention the fact, you can customize your drinks to have different types of milk and they also have a bunch of other vegan food options as well. I think this is amazing even though my group doesn't really get those options, because I've been told even when people change out the milk, it taste the exact same, which I think is absolutely incredible. (Side note I may update this when I take a photo next time I go because I always forget to before I put on the top on and start drinking ) The experience is great. The drinks are absolutely incredible and the workers are very nice and very helpful.5/5 stars

My experience at this Torrance coffee shop on a rainy Saturday afternoon was fairly pleasant! The…read moreplace was busy, and I ordered the Island Matcha, which was excellent. Made with coconut, macadamia syrup, and oat milk by default, it had a perfectly balanced, tropical flavor--great for vegans or the lactose intolerant. However, it's not the best spot for working or studying. The WiFi was so slow that I had to use my personal hotspot, and the seating consists of benches and mini tables that aren't comfortable for long periods. There are a few outlets, but you have to cross the street to a food court to use the bathroom. They have a shared parking lot out front. I'll definitely be back for the Island Matcha, but not to get work done!

OFFSET.... Not the rapper, the coffee shop!…read more I've been hooked on their dirty horchata for YEARS now. It could be store bought horchata mix for all I know but it is uuuhhhhhMAAYYYZZZIINNGGG!!!! It hits everytime!! All the dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, all of them rush my brain once that first sip hits. This location is much smaller with the most horrid parking spots known to man. & with the traffic on Crenshaw.... Phew good luck. Anyways love my dirty horchata!! I tried the waffle from the bakery case, it was good. Way too sweet for my liking but fluffy and a nice bite to it!

Offset does a great job of building a loyal local customer base with their array of drinks and…read morebites. My personal favorites are their iced dirty horchata, hot lavender matcha latte, and cinnamon chai croissant. There's usually a tiny chalk board displaying seasonal drinks by the register. I recall having an apple cinnamon cold brew back in the fall over a year ago and really enjoyed it. So take this as a sign to try their experimental bevs that aren't on the traditional menu if you get a chance! The vibe of the shop gives minimalist - nothing flashy about this place, but it's clean and you can even purchase merch from there too. One major con: small, cramped parking lot. For this reason, I'm usually in for a quick pick me up and out.
