This is a pretty no frills burger joint with decent prices. I had a single patty smash cheese burger and fries. The burger was hella solid. I also loved the house hot sauce on both the fries and burger.

I was passing by Hamburger Project and luckily parked right in front. So I made a point of waiting in line. Order at the kiosk and wait for your number to be called. The smash burger was aright, nothing out of the ordinary. The double classic $10.89 was kind of small. The fries $4 were crispy. The food comes out fairly quick with only 3 guys working the line. Bar seating only, not good for big groups. Street parking

Very underwhelming burger and so overpriced. Will not be back unfortunately. The fact that I have to pay $2 extra for tomato and lettuce on my tiny burger that already costs so much? No thanks. Also very misleading pricing - their website says extra sides of patties are 2.25 each and online ordering they're 3.50 each. 3 stars because the guy working was friendly and nice and the burger was ready very quickly.

If you can get past the drama with the owner, this has got to be one of the best burgers you can get in the area. I'm obsessed with the butter burger, super umami and perfectly warm and gooey. There's just one cashier and diner style seating. It's fast casual ambiance with a clean chic atmosphere. I'd come here for a meal before a show at the independent, absolutely stellar date night material. Can't wait to come back and sit in for their cheese fries.

This place is a hit!! Great location, good vibes, and amazing food!! I will happily go back anytime!

Quick and yummy! We were looking for something nearby the square, and stumbled upon this spot. The burgers were basic, but still good! I added jalapeños to mine and it was a good kick. Workers are friendly and we hardly waited to get our food. It's just a bar facing the kitchen, so there's not a ton of seats. But it seems people just eat and go.

Yeah this is a great go-to burger joint. Good price, interesting burgers without it getting too crazy. The peppers and onions in the Oklahoma burger were awesomeee, usually I don't like peppers but they did it right. Fries were chill, could've had a more fun seasoning but guess that means I need to try the loaded fries!

This place has been on my list for a few months when Epik High filmed a food vlog here. My partner and I came here for lunch during happy hour so we tried one of their happy hour special and then ordered a Wisconsin burger. For the happy hour special, we added another patty to make it a double double. I will say I might've enjoyed it better if it was hotter. Its weird because we see them cook everything in front of us so not sure why the burger taste lukewarm lol. The yuzu bottle sauce the employee told us to use honestly made the burger have more of a speciality. The fries weren't anything special but super crispy. Parking is mainly street parking so it can get busy on weekends!

Small little spot but food comes out quickly. The flavors are great. The staff are very friendly and goofy! I do wish they had sauces like ketchup or bbq available. They give you ketchup packets but 3 for 2 burgers and a side of fries isn't enough. It's also hard to eat as there's no where to put the ketchup if you're eating fries. They do have this yuzu sauce on the counter but I didn't really think it paired with this style of burger. I wish they were more generous with the bbq on the western burger as I think that is what partially makes the burger! I would definitely come back but get it as togo so I can bring it home and enjoy more sauce and have a plate to put the items on.

The burgers here are really good! I got the single classic burger and my husband got the Oklahoma burger! Both were delicious and the patties were seasoned really well. We also ordered onion rings which were tasty and not overly bready, and the fries kind of tasted like McDonald's fries (in the best way possible!). I'd probably get the classic double burger next time since I was still a little hungry afterwards. The restaurant had a divey and intimate feel which I really liked. It adds to the charm and makes it a cozy spot to enjoy a great burger!

Nice spot for a quick smashburger fix on divis. Counter seating for ~8, quick service! - Western bacon cheeseburger: delicious, was a fan of the bbq sauce and onion rings in it - Wisconsin burger: simple cheeseburger with melty sweet caramelized onions! - Loaded fries: the house sauce was great - nice tartness. fries itself were a bit soggy even without the toppings

Super solid smashburger on the trendy Divisadero Street. The menu is simple, the service is fast, the flavor is great. The burger was everything we expected and scratched that smashburger itch we've been having! Dining room is limited so it may be better for a to-go order than dine-in.

A place I pass by regularly and the simplicity of the store front really appealed to my hole in the wall predilection. Order at the front, and sit at the food bar where you can mostly watch your food being made. My kind of place. FOOD: Classic. Double. Just wanted to try their tried and true which was a good burger, but honestly a bit underwhelming. Solid patty with American cheese is the way to go, but I personally wanted more sauce. They really tried to let the meat shine here, but it's not AMAZING meat, but overall solid. Their hot sauce was a solid, tangy, mildly spicy sauce. Oklahoma. A similar burger to the original but the sweet onions and peppers are the big component here. They are incredibly sweet and take a lot of the show, which I wasn't sure how I felt about it. I'd say it was just okay. Seasoned fries. Solid thin fries that go well with ketchup and are a good accompaniment to a nice heavy burger. Overall, solid. For the price, decent. As far as smashed burgers go, I want a bit more smashed and a bit crispier, but that's my own preference. There are better places in the city, but those are more expensive.

Making a burger choice was tough, but I went with the double OG, which did not let me down. The lace was crispy, and the flavor combination of the ingredients was perfect. It was a top smash burger in the bay, and I'd def go again if in the area.
