Excellent breakfast and service with great ambiance and clean. The oatmeal was perfectly cooked and berries were fresh. Do not think typical oatmeal in hotel. It was just impressive. The brown sugar on side is nice so us healthy people can choose how unhealthy we want to be :) The yogurt was tasty and the homemade granola I would have bought a bag of if they sold it. I was already stayed at the Lorenzo so it was perfect to just come down and try out Hamilton's. The ambiance was nice and quiet but completely silenced. The food was great! I had the beef brisket empanadas and the free range chicken sandwich with truffle fries. I also had the Don which was really delicious. The reviews on yelp are old, so let me update you. Hamilton was pretty good, I got no bad notes. We are staying at the hotel and stopped in for a late drink and quick bite. Arugula salad with shrimp added, so good and the shrimp had great favor. Also got hibiscus margarita and a speciality margarita created by the bartender which was so good it should be on the meun. The only thing i would change is the apple pie, it was cold and it would if tasted better warmed up.We had a great experience, hope yo see more positive reviews. read more

Two stars for presentation and fast room service!! Ordered the three egg omelette with cheddar, ham, onions, tomatoes, and spinach. The omelette was well-done. Something in there was previously frozen. There was definitely a frost bitten flavor to the omellete. I prefer a softer, fluffier omelette with fresh ingredients. Also, no seasoning was used. Needed a little salt, pepper, something!!! The breakfast potatoes were good! Can't really mess those up. The English Muffin was standard. Lightly toasted. I ordered a side of corn beef hash thinking I was going to get the stuff out of a can. Instead, I got corned beef and hash browns. Not what I was expecting. I didn't quite like it. Again, no seasoning. The corned beef was over cooked, very dry. And I already had breakfast potatoes...didn't want the hash browns. I'm sure there are better options on the menu. I didn't realize this was a hotel restaurant until I arrived. It's in the Lorenzo hotel. Very swank like. They had a saxophone player who sat a the piano facing a wall while playing his instruments. It would have been nice if he turned around and made eye contact or at least attempted to act like he was playing for the crowd. I started off with the humus. Don't get it. It's not good. It taste like someone's first time making humus. For entree I got the filet (medium) with au gratin potatoes and asparagus. The steak was under temp which is okay. That's why I asked for medium. If it slightly above or under medium I still like. What got me was they did not season the steak!!! They put all their faith in the sweet onion glaze. I don't particularly like sweet meat so I asked for A1. The bartender said there was none and brought me salt n pepper. So I salted and peppered my own meat and ate it. Luckily I had a great waiter who to the time to find A1 for me. The au gratin potatoes were over cooked. They were mashed potatoes with cheese on top. I like the decor and loved my waiter from turkey but nothing I ate today would bring me back to eat here again. It's an average hotel restaurant. A solid three stars for me. read more

NOPE, NOT MINE! I must say, I was surprised with the design; the blend of Cabaret, Hollywood Glam, and Art Deco, are a colorful delight, even with the use of cost effective textiles. This is a restaurant, so let's Jump forward to flavor, presentation, and service. AMAZING! We enjoyed the Smoke Brisket Turnovers, Salmon, Risotto, Chocolate cake, and Bakalva; each served with a level of hospitality, expected with a name like Lorenzo. My boyfriend and I came here for drinks since we didn't want to pay for an Uber and were tired of paying for parking in Downtown Dallas. Best decision made! We were hosted by G-Man, a talented barista from Turkey. Loves to entertain guest and recommend delicious drinks. I'm generally a fruity drink type of gal, he mad a delicious Mangonada and Raspberry Mojito. He mad my boyfriend two other drinks as well, one was an espresso with alcohol and I forgot the other one. I highly recommend coming here if you're staying at this hotel, or if you're in the area. It's kind of low-key since nobody really comes to a hotel for drinks unless you're staying there. read more

I was there with friends on an ordinary weeknight, so it was overall slow, but the drinks were amazing, the bartender was very attentive, and the entrees were absolutely delicious. (Grits - yummy.) I dont normally goto hotel restaurants because it can keep you from a new local spot, but this spot looks so unique and cute. Oh did I mention they have live music? Was super pleased with our dinner. I got the Scottish salmon dish, which had brussel sprouts and fingerling potatoes. There was also some other veggies for flavor and 3 crispy onions. A ton of flavor. My table got the chicken soup - they said it was super hearty and amazing. They also got the the chicken airline dish. This also had brussel sprouts because.... why not they are delish! We came here on New Years Eve. I really loved the ambiance of this restaurant and it was a very cute place to take pictures. The food was really good! They need to bring out the food when it's ready and not all at once we were sitting for 30 min before it all came out and some of it was cold. Braised Brisket Empanadas were the best and I wish they came with more than 3, we got them to share but I ate all of them. Chicken Poblano Soup was really good! But since they waited to bring out the food altogether it wasn't as hot as I'd like it to be, it still tasted good. We ordered fries separately for an appetizer but weren't made aware of that there were fries with our burgers. The burgers are amazing! The biggest gripe I had with everything was with their breakfast potatoes. They tasted frozen, and just...bad for lack of a better word. While staying at the Lorenzo hotel, we decided to try to main on property dining option. The servers greeted us promptly and we were invited to sit anywhere we liked. We sat across from the wall dedicated to Salvador Dali. The chairs were comfortable, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Our server was very patient with our indecisive 11-year old son, who I can imagine is not her primary clientele. The side salad that I opted for in place of french fries was very fresh, the heirloom tomatoes were excellent. I wish they had a wider selection of dressings, but the ranch suited it well. The braised brisket empanadas were perfect, and paired well with the chimichurri. My wife enjoyed her salad, she noted the added fresh taste that the pineapple provided. Thw fried chicken sandwich was standard fair, but served po'boy style on the baguette was a nice touch and I enjoyed the remoulade. My sons both loved their burgers as they were juicy, and the brioche was nice and soft. A great place for a relaxing dinner in a contemporary setting! read more

I'm in love! The hippest Hotel around. It's like Alice in Wonderland meets Andy Worhal! Visually stunning, food is great and the service is awesome! Will definitely new looking into throwing a party in one of the banquet or ball rooms. Not sure if it's kid friendly but it's definitely a place for adults to relax, unwind and let loose. We ate three Meals at the Hamilton breakfast twice and supper. breakfast ordered chocolate chip pancakes, omelette Iced Americano with cream. The pancake was tough and lacked chocolate chips. for an extra $3 more then 3 choc chips would of been nice. The omelette lacked seasoning it was cooked well. If it had just a pinch of salt it would of been good. For supper we ordered 2 chicken fried steak meals and a Lorenzo burger with fries. The chicken fried steak was cooked perfectly but again lacked seasonings. no salt or pepper which would have made a difference in the meal. The mashed potatoes were cold, not Luke warm and lacked seasoning as well. The burger was burnt tasting according to my kid. The fries were fresher cut fries but not crispy. lathe fries were soggy in the container and lacked salt. The next day we gave it one more try and ordered a single chocolate chip pancake this time it had a few more chocolate chips but pancake was rubbery and tough once again. I will say the staff is friendly but not attentive. read more

The name has since recently changed to Hamilton's , the food was amazing. During covid they were a little short staffed so dinner snd drink service were a tad bit slower than you might expect , however it well worth the wait. We went there for a very special occasion during the blizzard and were not disappointed. Highly recommend the brisket empanadas and the main fish entree, I've never had Brussels sprouts I've liked until now. read more

Stayed at the Lorenzo Hotel and decided to stay in and have a meal and drink at the bar. They have several local beers on tap as well as a good selection of liquor. The food is surprisingly good albeit a little high-priced. I had the shrimp and grits atop a creamy pool of grits. Also had plenty of andouille sausage and topped with pickled peppers and radishes that gave it great balance. The staff and guests made the experience a good one and the decorations are very hip, making me feel like I were at a trendy bar rather than a hotel. My husband and I hadn't hung out for a while and wanted to check out this restaurant because we are highly visual creatures and heard how cool the place looked. It didn't disappoint. This place has such a fun, upbeat ambiance! It's highly decorated with eclectic and urban artwork, great music, adorable patio. Some ladies were hosting a bday party here. I totally see myself having my own bday here. There's plenty of room and the place is just so welcoming. Yesterday I sat down for breakfast here and after 2 failed attempts to get my omelette right I settled for a muffin from outside. Today My order was prepared correctly except for the toast, I ordered a biscuit but received wheat toast. Food is ok, service not so much. I waited a good 15 minutes with my card in the checkbook then another waitress picked it up to process. 5-10 min later I'm waving down my waitress who still doesn't seem to realize I need my card back. read more
