The reviews on yelp are old, so let me update you. Hamilton was pretty good, I got no bad notes. We are staying at the hotel and stopped in for a late drink and quick bite. Arugula salad with shrimp added, so good and the shrimp had great favor. Also got hibiscus margarita and a speciality margarita created by the bartender which was so good it should be on the meun. The only thing i would change is the apple pie, it was cold and it would if tasted better warmed up.We had a great experience, hope yo see more positive reviews.

This spot is in the Lorenzo Hotel. The breakfast experience is solid and predictable. The ambiance complements the vibe of the hotel, making it a cool spot to hang out. The menu features classic breakfast options and unique items. I had the huevos rancheros one morning and the egg white omelette the next morning. Both were reliable. Th might be room for some more adventurous or unique dishes to add excitement to the breakfast offerings.

Two stars for presentation and fast room service!! Ordered the three egg omelette with cheddar, ham, onions, tomatoes, and spinach. The omelette was well-done. Something in there was previously frozen. There was definitely a frost bitten flavor to the omellete. I prefer a softer, fluffier omelette with fresh ingredients. Also, no seasoning was used. Needed a little salt, pepper, something!!! The breakfast potatoes were good! Can't really mess those up. The English Muffin was standard. Lightly toasted. I ordered a side of corn beef hash thinking I was going to get the stuff out of a can. Instead, I got corned beef and hash browns. Not what I was expecting. I didn't quite like it. Again, no seasoning. The corned beef was over cooked, very dry. And I already had breakfast potatoes...didn't want the hash browns. I'm sure there are better options on the menu. And they are super fast with room service. Would try something different when staying at the Lorenzo in downtown Dallas.

Stayed at the Lorenzo hotel so I decided to check out the restaurant. Service was good food came quickly and the other guests were friendly. Breakfast was good a bagel eggs potatoes fruit and chicken sausage for $16. Which is reasonable for hotel food. Simple menu which I appreciated. My stay was great and so was the restaurant. Would not mind dinning here again.

    Wow! This looks good!

Visiting the restaurant, Hamilton at Lorenzo, was really overdue for me. I'm constantly asked if it's my hotel, because of our shared name, and I design for hospitality, and entertainment. NOPE, NOT MINE! I must say, I was surprised with the design; the blend of Cabaret, Hollywood Glam, and Art Deco, are a colorful delight, even with the use of cost effective textiles. This is a restaurant, so let's Jump forward to flavor, presentation, and service. AMAZING! We enjoyed the Smoke Brisket Turnovers, Salmon, Risotto, Chocolate cake, and Bakalva; each served with a level of hospitality, expected with a name like Lorenzo. If you're hungry, and enjoy good food, this is your spot! The prices are fair for the quality, and portions served. Hamilton at Lorenzo, has a generously stocked, and cozy bar, for those who prefer to sit there, and enjoy a delicious meal, and cocktails. The parking can be a bit confusing, so make sure you pay attention to the sign at the front door! See you soon! Xoxo Lorenzo

I dont normally goto hotel restaurants because it can keep you from a new local spot, but this spot looks so unique and cute. Oh did I mention they have live music? Was super pleased with our dinner. I got the Scottish salmon dish, which had brussel sprouts and fingerling potatoes. There was also some other veggies for flavor and 3 crispy onions. A ton of flavor. My table got the chicken soup - they said it was super hearty and amazing. They also got the the chicken airline dish. This also had brussel sprouts because.... why not they are delish! We got cocktails at a good price. Super pleased, we went twice! I wanted to take a picture of everything but we started eating too quickly!

We came here on New Years Eve. I really loved the ambiance of this restaurant and it was a very cute place to take pictures. The food was really good! They need to bring out the food when it's ready and not all at once we were sitting for 30 min before it all came out and some of it was cold. Braised Brisket Empanadas were the best and I wish they came with more than 3, we got them to share but I ate all of them. Chicken Poblano Soup was really good! But since they waited to bring out the food altogether it wasn't as hot as I'd like it to be, it still tasted good. We ordered fries separately for an appetizer but weren't made aware of that there were fries with our burgers. The burgers are amazing! I ordered some with jalapeños and it was the perfect kick to a great burger.

We are staying the weekend at the hotel, and we stopped into the bar/restaurant for Happy Hour. The bartender, Mel, has been awesome. She's knowledgeable, and she even put the Texans game on for my husband. We live in Dallas, and I work downtown. I will definitely be returning!

While staying at the Lorenzo hotel, we decided to try to main on property dining option. The servers greeted us promptly and we were invited to sit anywhere we liked. We sat across from the wall dedicated to Salvador Dali. The chairs were comfortable, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Our server was very patient with our indecisive 11-year old son, who I can imagine is not her primary clientele. The side salad that I opted for in place of french fries was very fresh, the heirloom tomatoes were excellent. I wish they had a wider selection of dressings, but the ranch suited it well. The braised brisket empanadas were perfect, and paired well with the chimichurri. My wife enjoyed her salad, she noted the added fresh taste that the pineapple provided. Thw fried chicken sandwich was standard fair, but served po'boy style on the baguette was a nice touch and I enjoyed the remoulade. My sons both loved their burgers as they were juicy, and the brioche was nice and soft. A great place for a relaxing dinner in a contemporary setting!

And what…read morefollowed was a core memory in three courses and a complimentary Bloody Mary shot accompanied by the cutest green olive. The moment we walked in, it felt like home, but not in the "kick off your shoes" way. No, this was the "you're safe here, baby" kind of home. The vibe? Cozy. Elevated. Like Restoration Hardware met someone emotionally stable. Elliott was our server and an absolute delight. Joseph was the manager, casually spreading joy like Oprah with a tray of Bloody Mary shots. Amber... now let me pause here, because this woman deserves a paragraph of her own. Amber isn't just a GM. She's the kind of soul you meet once and never forget. When I asked for her to come to our table just to pay her a compliment, we both practically teared up. She received it with open arms, no ego, no deflection, just pure, gracious presence. I was mid-sentence and suddenly I had that Creed song stuck in my head. You know the one. "With arms wide open..." That's the kind of energy she brought to the entire restaurant. Amber made every person in that room feel like they mattered. Not because it's her job, but because it's who she is. She's fresh off earning her master's in hospitality, and if that degree came with a crown, she's wearing it. The Porch doesn't just run smoothly. It runs on Amber energy. But let's talk about the moment I saw God. Cornbread Eggs Benedict: Not crab. Not salmon. Corn. Bread. And not just any cornbread. The softest, fluffiest, most cuttable cloud of golden glory I've ever had the pleasure of annihilating with a fork. A fork, not a steak knife. Do you understand how rare that is? Normally I'm out here sawing through an English muffin like I'm in a lumberjack competition. This? Melted like butter. Tasted like a hug. 12/10. Incredible. And then, as if the eggs benny enlightenment wasn't enough, Joseph reappears with a tray of free Bloody Mary shots for the entire restaurant. With olives. For everyone. The joy? Immediate. The energy? Electric. The crowd? Unified. I watched a grandmother at the next table raise her glass like the queen she is. I nearly cried. This wasn't service. This was a masterclass in human connection. Restaurants can be transactional. Robotic. This was the opposite. This was care, intention, soul. My high school principal once said: "The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little bit of extra." The Porch brought extra, bagged it, garnished it, and served it on a tray. Final thought: If you're not brunching here, I'm concerned. If you are? I'll raise my Bloody Mary shot to you. And Amber, if you ever run for mayor, you've already got my vote. I'll run your campaign and show up in a custom t-shirt.

To that one guy in the reviews who said that "the trough" will require at least 4 grown men, he was correct. I think this is a good amount for 4 men (without feeling absolutely disgusted from all this fatty deliciousness). The trough comes with 1 pound of brisket (5ish), 1 pound of beef ribs, 1 pound of pork ribs (5ish), 1/2 pound of pulled pork, 2 hand made sausage links, and 2 sides along with raw onions and pickles. The brisket is so good. Melt in your mouth. Make sure you get to try some of the leaner and fatty portions of it. The beef ribs are also perfect. It was Smokey, fatty, and fall off the bone just by touching it. I also very much enjoyed the sausages. The jalapeño cheddar and the maverick sausage (hatch chilis, cilantro, and queso Oxana, amazing) were so good. The Mac and cheese and collared greens were very good. Did not get the try the other sides. The bbq sauce was also very tangy and the brisket sauce? (I think?) is also a little acidic and a perfect pairing. There is an indoors eating area (AC blasting), but also an outside area with benches. The service is great and fast

Every time I take someone new there, I tell them that there hasn't been one dish that I've ever thought "meh" about. Every dish is so flavorful and outstanding. That said, I absolutely have my go-to order: the cornbread (a must), the southern greens, and the fried chicken. The cornbread is almost like a melt in your mouth dessert, that I happily start every visit with. The greens are packed with rich, savory flavor, and I'm not kidding when I say that every time I have them, I literally dream about them for weeks after. And the duck fat fried chicken? Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

We were asked to wait. Waited maybe 5-10mins. No biggie, A lot of open tables were available for immediate sit down. Again that wasn't a big deal. I had asked for a booth & wanted to sit in front room. The hostess said no a problem. She handed us off to a younger hostess and she took us to a table. I told her I had requested a booth. In the front room only 3 tables were occupied. I pointed out the booth and she said that's for party of 6. However, we could have the 1/2 table/booth. Made absolutely no sense because that was for a party of 6 as well. I made this comment & she just stared at me without saying a word. I didn't want to seem difficult and took the table as she just walked away. Kev was confused as we were. No good communication skills. It was an awkward encounter. The restaurant wasn't busy at all & never was whole time there. Kev wasn't sure why she didn't move us a requested & was puzzled himself. I guess saying all of this, your front staff need to have more people skills when dealing with your customers. They are the face and first point of contact. Again Kev was amazing & food was outstanding!
