Double smash Burger was great. A tad salty first bite and then it mellowed out. We did ask for grilled and raw onions and only got the raw. My hubs got a triple smash and his was a tad salty also, but both burgers were still good. I ate at the first location when they first opened and liked it a lot and was excited Clovis got one. My disappointment is because Clovis location advertised shakes online, on their site, and inside location they are also advertising shakes, but Clovis location is NOT doing shakes! She said they never did shakes and will NOT do shakes at this location:( For this, I am disappointed because I look forward to a shake and burger when I go out and this was a deciding factor in where to go for my burger. Location has plenty of parking but only 2-3 tables for a group bigger than 4. Great food and friendly service! The smash burger patties have perfectly crispy edges and the bun is nicely toasted. I added cheese, because cheese makes everything better I did order a side of regular fries and I enjoyed them more than most fast food places, and I was appreciative of the one free dipping sauce option (I'm basic and love dipping my fries in ranch). All right, so maybe this is a bit of a bias review, but I have had the best smashes in the world in Tillamook, Oregon. I judge every smash burger against this one because there's just really isn't much better. Smashburger was OK. I would give it a 7.5 out of 10. Flavor and it really wasn't juicy. The grilled onions provided no extra flavor to the burger and the island sauce is so you could've came up with any better than that. The service was good though . Now the burger for being a smash burger is juicy and did the job of being tasty but if you are someone who gets their grub on then grab a second one. One of my favorite smash burger places by far. It was a bit greasy and it could've used more cheese but other thank that it was so delicious. My cheese fries were also good, but nothing special otherwise. The service was fast, but friendly considering how busy they are. I really liked the neon signs it gave it a 90's vibe and the seats were clean and comfortable. It was unlimited refill on drinks which I loved, the condiment bar was organized, but those chilis should have a warning sign for how hot they actually are haha. I'm not sure if it's the style of the burger, but the bacon was not crispy, it was fully cooked but had a pastrami texture as if it had been more steamed rather than just fried on the grill. Ordered the single smash which cost $6.48 but took 20 mins to get which sucked so probably not a good idea to dine-in on your lunch break. Ordering online is recommended since it seems like the mobile orders take precedence over dine-in orders. They could use a monitor that shows which order number is ready.
