Han Dynasty is such a solid go to. Great optionality of the delicious dishes along with great service (shoutout Marco!!!). I highly recommend the Dry Pepper Fish. It's so good. The new location is also so nice and clean. They have a back room for private parties which is the cherry on top. I wanted to personally shoutout the A1 waiter, Marco. He recognized me when I dined in once after taking out so much and immediately was a friend. So warm and attentive. He elevates the experience by always going above and beyond and making sure everyone enjoys their meal and intends to come back. Marco was also so supportive with a recent private event I had there so I cannot say enough good things about Marco and Han Dynasty. I'll definitely be back!

Honestly such an unassuming exterior! Inside is very spacious and the staff is very sweet and considerate. We were able to be seated on a Saturday afternoon with no issues, and no issues with having 2 children with us. We got the mapo tofu, chicken lo mein and beef fried rice to share family style. The food comes super fast and were delicious! I'd definitely come back again.

I was a bit skeptical about Han Dynasty at first because it didn't seem like it was going to be authentic as the inside was decorate a bit too nice. We made a reservation beforehand but we probably didn't need to at least on a weekday night. - Dry Pot Style with Lamb - I thought that this was probably their version of Mala xiang guo, and it was okay. For some reason the lamb didn't have a very lamb-y taste or texture to it. I wish the vegetables inside were a bit more marinated and crispy. The good news was the rice was free and they gave a lot of rice, maybe 2 servings per entree. - Dry Pepper Style Fish - This was definitely the better entree although I thought the fish coating was a bit thick, but the flavors were pretty good. It was very crispy with a slight numb to it. Unsure I would come back but they did give a lot of rice. I think ordering 2 entrees was a bit too much for 2 people and next time I would just order 1 entree and 1 appetizer/vegetable/noodle.

Solid Chinese food with laid back service. The place is very big and great for large groups. They have a huge menu along with a good selection of drinks as well as specials. The portions are a good size and are easy to share.

Was gonna go to Sauerkraut Fish till I opted here for the prices. I got a basic lunch plate special of stirfried eggplant and brown rice for under $15 and it came with tea. The host kept switching the music: from new metal to Doja Cat to some innocuous and boring--if the place isn't cool enough for metal just leave it at Doja Cat, annoying the self-conscious to bland. They're moving two doors up as there have been problems with this space apparently: Lunch is mostly deliveries. I could see some huge HVAV- looking fixture above me duct-taped.

What an amazing and cute spot for cocktails and bites! I sat at the bar, and the young man who took care of me was extremely attentive. I ordered a number of Han Dynasty's signature drinks, all of which were prepared with both style and precision, and were tasty to boot. For food, I had both dim sum and bao, which were great. I highly recommend this location!

Their new location is so nice! The vibes and decor are gorgeous! Food on point as always! Standouts for me are spicy cucumbers, spicy wontons, Dan Dan, Kung pao chicken, scallion style, but you can't go wrong with anything! Had the pleasure of sitting at the bar at their new location and our bartender, Casey, was phenomenal!! Between great recommendations, showing us the new menu, explaining the drinks, we felt SO taken care of. Such a great time!

From food to service, my Han Dynasty visit was lovely, and I can't believe I just been passing it all these years. Great flavorful bases in every dish. My friends and I requested additional spicy and our waiter actually brought out several other options as well. Very friendly, approachable, and hospitable. The rice is unlimited as well so all my carb-lovers out there can really indulge.

I've had takeout from Han Dynasty countless times, this was my first time dining in. I went on a Sunday afternoon, and we were seated right away. The staff is efficient, and was able to accommodate a high chair. The interior is standard, nothing overly special but it's clean. To compare dine-in VS takeout, the food is exponentially better when eating it in restaurant. We ordered the vegetarian Dan Dan noodles and Dry Pepper Tofu to accommodate one of the guests in our party with a dietary restriction. These were both great dishes, for both veg and non-veg eaters. Additionally, we had Dry Pepper Fish, Dry Pepper Chicken, and Cumin lamb. The dry pepper fish was my favorite, but you can't go wrong with any of the options. We also ordered the Spicy Crispy Cucumber which I wouldn't personally order again. There was so much raw garlic coating each cucumber that it was not my favorite. Overall, Han Dynasty is a consistent good spot for spicy chinese food.

A little pricey but we are in NYC-- Was looking for a last minute restaurant that was quick, easy pickup and comforting. Han Dynasty is just that!!! I was nervous but pleasantly surprised by all of the flavor profiles in these dishes. The noodles in the lo me in were fresh and cooked to perfection with a great level of spice (requested medium and it SURELY WAS). They do not mess around with the extra spicy so be careful if you have a low tolerance. The spicy crispy cucumbers were a refreshing side to the thick and oily dumplings (also very good). Rec: Mixing a bit of the dumpling chilli oil into the lo mein for a very flavorful bite.

"You met me at a very Chinese time in my life." Nothing beats a cold beer with some sichuan noodles on a Wednesday night. Came with my middle school best friend after seeing The Running Man at the AMC nearby around 10:30pm. Amazing ambiance and it wasn't too crowded. We both ordered a Snow Beer and shared an order of Dan Dan Noodles, Pork Wontons in Chili Oil, and Crab Rangoons. They were all well portioned and reasonably priced. I highly recommend throwing the wontons in with the noodles. It is quite the exquisite combo. Godspeed. P.S. Don't forget to enjoy a cigarette for dessert for the full authentic experience.

This restaurant has twice delivered white rice when we paid for brown rice. They are expensive and need to pay more attention.

Have a large group for Christmas day - would this spot be good for a large group?

First you should check to see if they'll be open on Christmas. They have the space to accommodate one or two groups of about 12, but if you come when they're busy you'll likely have a long wait. One of their locations in the suburbs might be better…
