    Gluten-free sesame chicken lunch
    Tara R.

Being gluten-free can be a challenge when looking for a place to eat, especially Asian/Chinese type places. And when my friends told me about Han Fusion offering almost all of their dishes gluten-free, I knew I had to give them a go. They did not disappoint. We arrived a few minutes after opening and were sat right away. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food came out piping hot and it was ooooh soooo delicious. I got the sesame chicken lunch special that came with soup and rice. The only sad part about my experience, is I will have to visit New Hampshire to get to enjoy it again! And honestly, its quite worth a trip to New Hampshire for this delicious food. The price was excellent as well. The ambiance was cozy.

I really enjoyed the attentiveness and courteousness of the staff at Han Fusion. Being Taiwanese by heritage, I have been to my fair share of Americanized Chinese restaurants. I get that they are trying to cater to the clientele. So color me surprised when I saw the myriad of "authentic" options on the menu, even tomatoes and eggs, which was a staple in my household growing up. I was with a group for a business dinner, and we tried a lot of their offerings. For drinks, the lychee martini was delicious. The lychee tasted fresh, not canned. The soup dumplings were pork, and homemade. Delicious. Mu shu pork was outstanding, with pancakes and plum sauce on point. We tried the Mala tofu, which had a great kick. The mixed vegetables in white garlic sauce were al dente. Crystal shrimp dumplings also seemed to be made in house and were just melt in your mouth. The walnut shrimp was gorgeous, photo attached. Restaurants usually don't usually devote meaningfully sized shrimp to this but this was a tower and truly delicious and not overly creamy. Finally, the Singapore mei fun (rice noodles) were perfectly balanced with curry and spices. The ambiance is traditional Chinese restaurant feel and clean. I accidentally spilled some duck sauce on the white table cloth and they were so friendly and prompt about cleaning it up. This is truly a special spot and I am jealous I don't get to come here more often.

Black Mushrooms with baby bok choy and shitake. OMG. Could not stop eating this. And I was freaking full already. Delicious

Not sure how I missed the fact that there is GOOD CHINESE GOOD in Hanover. But I'm going to chalk it up to Covid and my having quit going to Hanover... It's, you know, cost benefit analysis: the cost of having to attempt to park in Hanover was NOT outweighed by any of my prior dining experiences. However! I decided I was going over there today after reading Han Fusion's menu online and seeing sections that said "authentic" and "tripe" and "pork belly." Okay! Bet!! Turns out the undergrads are gone at the moment and driving and parking in downtown Hanover was delightful! Han Fusion is located below street level and has a nice, big dining room with old school white tablecloths. There is also a comfortable bar. Which is where I sat. I always want to sit at the bar. Because that's where I get to talk to/meet people and we were having such a good time (me, husband and wife owners, food delivery driver) that I had to TEAR MYSELF AWAY. After 3+ hrs... Good times! And REALLY good food!! There is no Chinese food in a hour radius of Hanover that can hold a candle to what they're serving at Han Asian. No. Really. Trust. I started with a selection og appetizers : cucumber salad fried shrimp (delicious comfort food); steamed veggie dumplings (very good, complex flavor); crystal shrimp dumplings (LOVELY!). I ate my cucumber salad and then used the delicious sauce for my veggie dumplings. With a spoon even. Such a good combination! Then I mixed some hot mustard in the dipping sauce meant for the dumplings and used that for the shrimp ones. Heavenly! (I used Duck Sauce for the fried shrimp...it's just super good, fresh, comfortable stuff.) I ate all of it. Which was "kind of" a mistake?? Because really I needed more room for more entree!! I ordered Homestyle Tofu and Black Mushrooms Chow Sum. Holy. Crow people. I haven't had any Chinese food even close to this anywhere in Vermont or New Hampshire. Perfection!! Crisp, fresh, perfectly cooked veggies, fantastic sauces. Everything arrives so hot you could hurt yourself. But it's SO GOOD you don't want to wait to eat it. Despite REALLY making an effort I've got of tofu for tomorrow. Which I'm not really mad about... Next time I'm gonna skip starters and eat as many entrees as humanly possible!

A great lunch spot perfect for Chinese American classics. Enjoyed the mala chicken, chicken broccoli, shrimp broccoli, general tso chicken and orange chicken. Really liked the fried dumplings too. But wouldn't order the soup dumplings again.

Shrimp with mixed vegetables in brown sauce

Good Asian alternative near Dartmouth college. My shrimp with mixed vegetables in brown sauce hit the spot and was flavorful. Pan fried dumplings were very good...seemed homemade.

Hot and sour cellophane noodles. So so good.

Not a sushi spot... Just a run of the mill Chinese spot, Pad Thai was unlike any I have had ( not in a good way) really saucy (read sugary)

Only Chinese food nearby. Most dishes are cooked in the same sauce, shared with same taste and you will quickly get tired.

Very friendly service and restaurant seems to have updated their decor in the past few months!…read more Menu is very varied and creative. Everything is so fresh! We had the eggrolls and duck rangoons as appetizers and this was perfect. Boyfriend rates the eggrolls as 2nd best he's ever had (after 123Dzo!). He also had his usual chicken teriyaki, loved it. Says the sauce is perfect, and he loves the sticky rice you can order on the side. We shared some salmon nigiri and I also ordered the orange blossom maki. Now - I'm not a fan of "spicy-hot" anything - I never use hot sauce, chili flakes etc - but I always order sushi rolls with "spicy" in the name such as spicy salmon, etc and it's *never* spicy hot to the point I can't eat it - but I've had this issue here in the past, and I should have remembered. Depending on your tolerance level for hotness... you might want to keep it in mind - both the spicy salmon filling AND the spicy mayo on top of the Orange Blossom are *very hot*. To the point I could only eat a couple of pieces. I would avoid rolls with "spicy" in the description, or ask if they can make it not hot next time. Other than that, food is perfect here. Bit of a lack of atmosphere - it's kid-friendly, too bright lights and no music but super noisy. But we will return!
