This place is legit. TukTuk and Base Camp are straight phukt. If you like Sichuan style food, don't miss the spicy fried diced chicken and the water braised meats (fish or beef). The names sound silly but these are literal translations so I have no idea what it actually says on the menu in English. 辣子鸡丁: Flavors are all on point. Savory, umami bombs with chilis and whole Sichuan peppercorns right in there. The individual pieces of chicken are on the smaller side (while the overall portion is more than satisfactory), but this gives room for the textured fried bits to shine through.. which is unfortunately the area where this dish could improve. The fried bits could be crispier - that said, I say this lightly and with a high bar, and this dish as a whole delivers. 水煮鱼/牛: What it is. It's hard to muck this one up, but while the dish generally has a high floor, it's also got a high ceiling (which I won't say Han Fusion hits). Han Fusion's iteration is most notable in that the soup is thicker than most - some light thickener is used, perhaps cornstarch. I'm not versed enough in Sichuan cuisine to know if this is some regional variant, but I've come across this style fewer times than not. Unlike the chicken above, the individual pieces of meat (especially the fish) here are average or above average in size - for a dish like this, I prefer this, since I'm not digging for tiny bits of fish toward the end of the meal. The only other thing to note is that the proportion of glass noodle and Chinese cabbage here is small - there's actually a good ratio of meat. Apparently the head chef can cook lots of regional styles, so I was told to call ahead to ask about specific off menu requests. Overall, this isn't what I was expecting from Hanover, and personally, it's a gamechanger. read more

We ordered to-go from here and found the food to be delicious. They put a twist on a few chinese recipes. The food tends to be a bit on the spicy side. It was not offensive spicy though. The vegetable fried rice was great. We had the Generals Tso chicken which was delicious. Very friendly staff at time of pick up and they seem to be very thorough on the take out orders. We dropped in without a reservation and were seated quickly. The wait staff was friendly and the service was excellent. I have considered Chinese food my favorite for more than 50 years and I've had it at in numerable restaurants in the United States and other countries. I hate to say it, but this is the worst I have ever had! The food was so bad we couldn't finish it and threw it out. Included a tasteless Szechuan beef dish it was full of fat and A weird shrimp and walnut dish with strange pink milky sauce and maraschino cherries it was also tasteless. RACIST RESTAURANT DO NOT EAT HERE. We went out for a family lunch and ordered our food. We received our starters and waited. And waited. Other (non white) customers, who ordered after us, were served their food, paid and left. Still waiting. Then the waitress comes over and says the kitchen staff are all eating and can we wait another ten minutes!!!!??????? NO WE CAN'T. We waited over an HOUR. They comped nothing. No way would the staff be done eating in ten minutes. They could have easily cooked our food in the time we waited. I pointed out that others were served that ordered after us - "oh he's an old family friend". Furious - we are all paying customers. Ridiculous, terrible service. read more

I just love this place! When I'm on call at the hospital, this is a welcome treat for me and my team. The food is fresh, delicious and interesting. I am guessing that they lost a spectacular chef and are struggling now sour soup was superb, rivaling NYC quality. The menu is full of the usual dishes and many unusual ones too. We ate there often and gladly took our friends there. All enjoyed the old Han Fusion immensely. So I was excited when they reopened. We went to lunch yesterday. I had a not bad version of hot and sour soup. My wife had a good wonton soup (although I am not much excited by such a bland dish). I had mala chicken which was undistinguished and only mildly flavored. Since we were there we ordered a couple of dishes to go for our dinner. I got a Szechuan chicken. It was terrible. Badly spiced and, to my taste, barely edible. I am guessing that they lost a spectacular chef and are struggling now. I hope they can regain their outstanding quality soon. read more

I gave up in any form of Chinese food in the Upper Valley years ago. You can still get some reasonable Thai and Korean but Szechuan or Hunan? Forget it. Han Fusion is the best Chinese food that I have had in the Upper Valley by far. The food is delicious, the delivery is fast, and they are always so friendly and helpful! I always order my food extra spicy, which is still sometimes not as spicy as I would like, but it is absolutely delicious! What prompted me to write a review is the most recent time I ordered, I made a special request for a menu item (addition of bell peppers and onions to their Kung Pao chicken which is otherwise just chicken and peanuts), and they made it exactly how I requested! I appreciate that they also have a large number of authentic Chinese recipes available in addition to the Americanized foods, and the ones that I have tried so far have been phenomenal. This will definitely continue to be my go-to place for takeout! read more

After all the good reviews we had high hopes. On the plus side, the ambiance was comfortable - it's basically similar to the previous restaurant that was in this space, but a little spruced up. The service was very good - Felix our waiter was amazing, very friendly and attentive even though he was very busy. The selection of items on the menu was impressive, and the food came out fairly quickly. The portions were huge, could have fed two people. The food looked great. On the negative side, the food looked better than it tasted. I had lemon grass pork. It was loaded with lots of fresh veggies and meat, but the meat was very tough and fatty. The flavoring was basic brown sauce with some shaved lemongrass - not particularly interesting. My wife ordered the pork with broccoli in garlic sauce. Again, the veggies were fresh and plentiful, but the meat was tough, and the sauce was basic brown sauce with a little garlic flavor. it was very oily. Perhaps the more unusual sounding dishes on the last few pages might have been more interesting. read more

I lived the first 32 years of my life in Honolulu, a city blessed with many Chinese restaurants. When we first moved to Hanover, the options for Chinese food were minimal and poor--between that and no sushi anywhere, I didn't think I would last here. Over the years, the quality improved and now 33 years later, with Han Fusion there is finally truly delicious Chinese food in the area. The vegetables are fresh and the seasoning complex--every dish has been an improvement over what I've eaten before in Chinese restaurants around the country. Our favorites are the pork buns (actual pork buns of the kind I grew up eating in Hawaii), the beef lo men (the beef practically melts in your mouth and the flavor is incredible), and the General Tso's tofu. The exterior of the tofu is crispy, the interior creamy. This is now our favorite restaurant in the Upper Valley. Our thanks to the chefs for providing such delicious, healthy food. read more

I love Chinese food. Missed the Chinese restaurant in downtown Hanover First time eating at the restaurant under the current ownership. This place serves Chinese food to love. Had a tangerine chicken dish and a beef dish. Both were mouthwatering. The tangerine chicken dish was just spicy enough to make it interesting. The beef dish was excellent. After a decade long wait, my craving for a good Chinese restaurant in the Upper Valley has ended at last. Han Fusion is wonderful! My acid test of any emporium of this type is the quality of the fried dumplings. They serve theirs using a light, airy dough that in no way interferes with the succulent nut-like filling that actually tastes like fresh pork, not something out of a dog bowl. The chicken in the Lo Mein noodles was similarly flavorful and juicy, and the texture was nothing like the plastic "mystery meat" so commonly used in other restaurants. The noodles were done to perfection, not at all gloppy, and the whole business was infused with a luscious, mouth-watering sauce. The vegetables in the Szechuan pork were full of flavor (firm, fresh broccoli...am I dreaming?), and this dish actually had a spicy kick to it. Again, the meat in the entrée was fresh, not so cooked to death as to be mistaken for cardboard. I am looking forward to many repeat visits to try more of the offerings from this superb new addition to Hanover's eateries. read more

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was good, service amazing, and prices reasonable. I went on a Monday night with a large group and the waiter and staff were very accommodating of us. Several people in our party ordered drinks, which were filled very literally to the brim, and some were quite strong.
