Well, I must say this was way more than expected. I read many of the prior reviews and now I see why this place is Extraordinary, WOW, I was overwhelmed by not the quantity portions by the QUALITY. When they say fresh they are not kidding it was as thought each vegetable, portion was cut to order. I can not over emphasize how extremely great the food was. I felt as soon as I walked in it was a place of friendship and a real welcome wagon. My neighbor and I went and we have not stopped raving about this adventure. This is by no stretch of the imagination at the very top of our list as a many times re-do as I said as I tried my first pork belly bun, superb. Please view the photos I took and it is easily concluded that portions and quality are all there. The amazing thing is that the shrimp and squid included in my dish were not just large, they went beyond that, extra jumbo or colossal. I certainly want to mention the young man that was our server, a young man who had interacting public skills and very attentive to anything we asked for and came over several times and asked if there was anything else he could help us with. I am certainly looking forward to the next adventure at Han Noodle and I can see a weekly ritual to start with. This is a really easy access place, convenient and easy to navigate. Han Noodle Bar is a definite one of my asian take-out go tos. Especially their large pan fried noodles and crab ragoons. However, there can be differences in food quality when ordering during the week versus the weekend (usually better and more consistent). read more

I've ordered from Han Noodle four different times and my order last night will be my last. I get sesame chicken every time- first time it wasn't crispy but the problem seemed fixed when I asked for it extra crispy. Last night it wasn't even close to crispy and had we had multiple rubbery chicken pieces. The sesame chicken sauce is never to same and last was a doozy. The only reason I'm giving it a three star rating is because the veggies that come with my beef and broccoli and other past dishes are fresh and crisp. read more

Favorite Chinese restaurant in Rochester. The inside of the restaurant is much cleaner than most. They do not serve alcohol, but have a BYOB policy. Great place to pick up from and always have food ready in a reasonable time. My fiancé and I just went last week and we both agreed it was hands down the best we have ever had. Pork bao buns are incredible (freshly made). Spring rolls and crab rangoon are also great appetizers. My favorite dish on the menu is the pork lo mein. Can't beat getting Sesame Chicken or General Tsao's. They also have some Vietnamese dishes on the menu. The only one I have had so far is the pho and it was pretty good. Noodles were a little on the thicker side I would have preferred thinner noodles. Over all this is a great restaurant and definitely recommend it to anyone. Firecracker Crispy Cod!! Was the best dish I've had in years! The presentation is very attractive, with small pieces of friend fish in a special light batter, then there's this crispy chopped red peppers sprinkled over the plate. The dish is not spicy hot, it's just delicious, with chopped onions mixed into all that red confetti. Somehow they must deep fry those peppers, how else do they make them crunch? We started with steamed buns, mine had the pork filling, and we also crispy dumplings. With the dipping sauce. We brought our own beer in, that we purchased cold - right across the street. read more

Boys and Girls, let me tell you, the Han Noodle Bar just keeps getting better and better. The experience begins with a warm greeting the moment you walk through the door. That sets a mood that almost guarantees you're going to have a great experience. My husband and I began our lunch by sharing an order of fried pork dumplings. They were served with a tart sweet and sour sauce that was perfection. I ordered the roast duck noodle bowl and was served around six large pieces of tender duck breast and crisp bok choy on a bed of udon noodles and all of it swimming in a subtle broth. The portion sizes here are enormous and I filled up long before it was gone. For those of you who haven't tried Han Noodle, do yourself a favor and do so soon. read more

Ordered expecting to be wowed since we seem to hear the name all the time. But none of our food was great. The general chicken was very citrus tasting, even more than a typical orange sauce. My kids and I have dined numerous times at Hans Noodle Bar. The food and service has been top notch, never had a bad experience until yesterday. I ordered pork belly buns, crispy squid and shrimp lomein. Delivery was super fast. The pork belly buns was good no complaints, can't say the same for the squid.. It was cold,rubbery and super bland..0 flavor. The lomein was even worse..it was bland, bland, bland did not taste fresh at all,the shrimp tasted stale. This order was for my kids who have enjoyed dining at Hans in the past. I didn't want them getting sick from eating the food so I had to throw out the shrimp lomein. To say I was disappointed is an understatement, more like appalled and angry. The food is not free, I paid for it, not to mention paying to have it delivered also. I think the least you could have done is deliver fresh food. I certainly won't be ordering again after this experience. read more

For starters, I'm a big fan of their scallion pan cakes and their pork belly buns. Those two are by far my favorite! I've also had the szechuan fish hot pot which is spicy & soupy it comes with rice. I've also tried the seafood noodle. But the Singapore Meifun stir fry is a favorite of mine! I'm yet to come back & try the other items on the menu. Literally, ONCE. What's worse, the owner completely refunded my order, for it being slightly off. Does service ever get any better? I LOVE recommending Han and I love promoting the B15. Not only is the menu fantastic but they are BYOB; which stands for 'Bitch You won't Beat us.' Obviously. The food is fantastic, the staff is so friendly it's crazy and the environment is so casual. I can show up in suit on my lunch break and blue jeans for a night out. Han is literally ALWAYS the right choice. It's literally my favorite Asian place in the city. It seems every time anyone in my group wants some, it's Han. The portions are huge and their menu is so extensive. Also, order the Pork Buns!! My favorite part aside from the food is he affordability. I can go to Han with a group of friends, laugh and carry on all night over entrees, apps for everyone, wine and if I cover the whole check chances are it will be under $100. Whenever I want takeout and am in the Park or Monroe area, I go to Han. There's a variety of food options and everything I've had is good. Ambiance: It's not huge and it's kind of loud in there, it can also be too hot or too cold. It doesn't bother me when I'm doing takeout but it does matter when I'm eating there. Service: Just fine. Servers are nice, take note of my allergy, double-check past kitchen. Can be harder to understand over the phone. Food: Fantastic. Some of my favorite takeout in Rochester. There's a variety of dishes to appeal to a number of interests. There's warm noodle soups with a variety of add-ins (duck, pork, wontons, seafood), noodles without broth that can be done cold or fried (with various meats and veg), the classic Chinese appetizers you expect (rangoons, dumplings, spring rolls, pickled vegetables), etc. The vegetarian/vegan selection is solid as well. The chef knows what goes in the food and is careful to tell me what I can and can't have with my dairy allergy. My favorites are the Ginger Scallion noodles and the ma po tofu. read more

Busy, popular place on a Friday night. We had the braised pork belly bun, five spice beef noodle soup, and the beef brisket noodle soup. The bun order comes as 2 small buns. The sauce and nut mixture inside was tasty, the buns were warm and soft. The pork was good except that in 1 of the buns, the "meat" they gave us was a complete piece of fat, no meat at all. You really can't serve that to a customer. The beef brisket was edible but way too hard and chewy compared to properly prepared brisket that melts in your mouth. I think it's the quality of meat they choose to serve and not enough braising/stewing time. The soup was okay but lacked real depth and flavour. read more
