My daughter got The Chicken Ramen, it was great tasting, food came out fast and the service was good. The ambiance in the restaurant was nice as well, chill vibes.

The ambiance is really chill and the decorations are really pretty upon walking in. Christian was an extremely kind, patient, and thorough server, thank you for a great time! All of our food came out in 12 minutes after ordering, which surprised me because I came in a group of 10 people. The takoyaki was delicious, crispy on the outside while soft and hot on the inside! I got the tan tan men, which was peanut-y and extremely thick/creamy. The gyoza is crunchy and delicious, and the tonkotsu was light and the meat is soft. Great place!

The Hanabi restaurant in Denton offers excellent service and a great ambiance. It's a fantastic place for a date if you're in the mood for ramen. The only issue the prices have increased (but that's obvious in this economy ), and the menu prices listed on Yelp are not accurate (the Tokyo Tonkotsu is $14, not $9). I only had the Tokyo Tonkotsu compare to other Hanabi, it was similar. Overall tho I love the ambiance and I had a great time here

My daughter's eye has been on this place for awhile now. When I rolled into town to visit, she decided to take me here to finally check it out. After walking in, we were immediately greeted and seated. There is a barcode on the table that we scanned to view the menu. They have a variety of dishes to choose from for everyone. We ordered the fried rice as an appetizer, and boy let me tell you, the fried rice is poppin... it's very flavorful and delicious. My daughter had a spicy bowl of Ramen, and I initially had a bowl of Curry Raman. The Curry Raman was very flavorful, but the broth was very thick like gravy. I really tried to like it, but I just couldn't get over the texture after a few bites. I never like to make a big fuss when I dine out, but I just couldn't eat it. Reluctantly, I asked our server if I could exchange my Curry Ramen for the Veggie Ramen. He was very kind and understanding about it. My Veggie Ramen was piping hot and on the table within 5-7 minutes. It had a very unique, earthly flavor to it. After a few bites, I couldn't eat anymore of it. However, my daughter tasted it and loved it. She said she was going to take it and eat it for lunch the following day. The restaurant was very clean and the decor was pretty awesome. I really felt transported to Japan while we sat and ate. Staff is excellent, responsive, friendly, and service is fast. My daughter absolutely loved this place and said this is her new hotspot. Highly Recommended!

Came here on a Friday night for dinner. It wasn't busy. We were greeted and seated right away. The food came out pretty quick and the spicy ramen was really good. I also enjoy their fried squid for an appetizer. Don't bother ordering their shrimp shu mai....its definitely frozen from krogers or something. But I'd definitely come back for more ramen.

I've eaten at plenty of Ramen places. This one ranks pretty low. I went with a coworker during lunch. There weren't alot of people there but at the same time, at 70+ degrees, I wouldn't expect many people wanting Ramen! It took awhile to place orders but when someone finally came by, we started with Edamame, shrimp shumai, and the fried squid legs. The Edamame was a little overcooked in that some of the pods were a bit wiggly or soggy-ish and alot were split open. The shrimp dumplings and squid legs were hot and very good. My friend ordered the vegetarian Ramen while I ordered the seafood vegetable Ramen. We both agreed that the Ramen was very bland. She added a spicy paste to hers and said it helped alot. The price point for the food was good but I wouldn't visit again. The people working there were nice but the food quality and the service needs improvement.

I came in on a whim alone, right off the bat the staff is kind and caring. I ordered gyozas, the tonkotsu ramen, and a Sapporo (on tap! Score!) Everything was reallly, great! The whole restaurant from the window to the.... W Table, got cha! Was extremely well done. I like the wood benches. It was semi-romantic with the right amount of privacy and openness. Just watch where you're going pulling in! The parking lot can be a little confusing to get into with one way streets. It's totally worth it though! You'll forget all that road rage once you eat

It feel like you are transported somewhere in a Japanese dojo. The waiters are nice and the food comes out delicious! My personal favorite has always been the Kara Miso. Everything I've had here is delicious. This place is a go to favorite. The atmosphere inside and top notch too. Highly recommend the gyoza and karikara chicken.

Half and Half - Black Tonkotsu and Shoyu with spicy pork
    Asiah C.

One of my favorite spots. Very easy to order for pick up or go in person. The tricky part is the location being on a corner with limited parking. The gyoza is so good. I love the sauce it comes with. I typically stick with a black tonkotsu, but add spicy pork. I love the new half and half option to try something new. I went for the shoyu and did not like as much probably because I'm not big on seaweed. My partner got the spicy miso and really liked it. It wasn't spicy as we anticipated.

Amazing food, service, and ambiance! Came here around 3 months ago because I had a craving for ramen and this place did not disappoint. All of the flavors were on point and I left satisfied and happy!

Look, I'm a skeptical person. And so, I automatically think that a place with rave reviews spanning…read moreover a decade can't truly still be all that. Well, I'm here to tell you: it really is. It truly is all that. I read somewhere else that Keiichi truly shines with their appetizers, and I must concur. We ordered four apps, but our absolute favorites were: - Beef and Jalapeño Cream Cheese Roll: Please do not be deterred by the cream cheese. It was tastefully added and wasn't overwhelming at all. Also, that beef? DIVINE. -Marinated Tuna with Fresh Guacamole: An unlikely combination that constantly proves it deserves to be put together. Each bite was a flavor bomb in your mouth. We also got the Tasmanian Sea Trout and the Baby Yellowtail Carpaccio. They were very good, but nothing you can't have at another fancy sushi restaurant. We ordered three nigiris: * Squid * Scallop * Eel All very good, but again, nothing you can't have at another fancy sushi restaurant with quality fish. We didn't order classics like salmon and yellowtail because we'd already had them in our appetizers. The beef miso soup was also delectable. We didn't care as much for the beef by the end of the soup, so we'd probably just get the regular miso soup next time. For our entrée, we ordered the mushroom risotto to share. The risotto was definitely some of the best we've had in Dallas. Iirc, monarch has our favorite risotto. This was close to it. And I say this as someone who doesn't like mushrooms very much. Something we'd like to try next time: - Spicy Tuna Tartare Finally - dessert. We ordered a tiramisu and shared it with two strangers seated beside us. They ordered the green tea tiramisu and shared that with us. We enjoyed both variants. My wife and the other couple felt the traditional tiramisu lacked espresso, so that would be the one change they'd prefer. I found it good as is. So there you have it - that's the food. But that's only one part of the experience. The other part is snagging a reservation! I first tried securing a reservation back in October 2024 but was unsuccessful. I tried again in October 2025 and was finally able to snag a reservation for September 2026. So this dining experience was 2 years in the making! I can see why reservations sell out so quickly though. The chef can only accommodate 10 seats per seating and is only open a few days of the week. Furthermore, he has a dedicated fan following. Of which, my wife and I will proudly be a part of. Food and reservations are two parts of a three piece puzzle, though. For us, the third and final piece was the people we dined with. They were all incredibly kind, vocal, and passionate foodies. Everyone loved food and wanted to tell the others what they'd ordered and how much they enjoyed it. Because of that, a lot of us ended up ordering things the others recommended and were blown away each time. All that led to some interesting banter and very insightful and engaging conversations. I'm very happy we were able to get a reservation and were seated with such great people. I look forward to coming again, should we be lucky enough to secure a reservation in time.

All I have to say is rinse repeat. Consistency is the key to success. Is there any other place on…read morethis planet with better food or service?!?!

Sashimi was great and fresh. The pan fried pork belly has good seasoning but quite salty. We took it home to eat with rice. Pork cutlet was very dry. Wings were dry too, not juicy. Tonkotsu ramen tasted good and salty too. The servers were nice. I do think they expect you to know your order already to make a quick turnaround since there were constant ppl waiting at the door. Short wait on a weekday right when the doors open (in 100+ degree summer heat). But I don't think it was amazing and felt hyped up to me. The inside is tiny and there isn't even a proper "waiting" area. I've also tried coming here before, and there was also a long wait. I'm glad I decided to stick it out this time. We ordered the Wagyu sushi, Yakitori, Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, and the Tomato Ramen. The Wagyu sushi is torched right in front of you! The Wagyu was incredibly tender and the sauce was delicious. My only *nitpicky* critique is the rice was ever so slightly too moist, but that didn't stop me from inhaling the sushi. Next, the Yakitori was phenomenal. I've never had such tender chicken in my life. There was a nice layer of delicious sauce coating the skewer. Again, just a really nitpicky feedback I have was that I wish the Yakitori had the tiniest bit more char to it, but nevertheless was an incredible bite, and I'd 100% order again in a heartbeat. Onto the ramen - easily hands down one of the best ramen I've had in DFW. The broth is flavorful, and I love the noodles. I'm not sure if they're handmade from scratch, but they had the perfect thickness and chewiness. I also loved generous the portion of cha shu slices. Most other places only give you 1-2 thin slices, but that was not the case here. The pork was tender. The ajitama was solid too, although I prefer more of a soft-boiled egg. While the meat portion is more generous here, the tonkotsu didn't come with many vegetables. A lot of other ramen places I've been to will have corn, fried garlic, etc as default, but those are all additional cost add-ons here. The ramen was delicious without them though but just something to note. We also got the tomato ramen as it's the chef recommendation. The dish is very creative and the execution was great. Personally, I still prefer traditional ramens but it was certainly a nice culinary creation to try. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would come here again. Just be aware there may be a wait, and because they're so busy, you do have to proactively flag down staff. However, the staff are still really nice despite all the tasks they're juggling at once.
