They warmly welcome dogs but do have fairly strict requirements (including rabies tags and others), so it's worth checking ahead of time. They offer tons of vegetarian options. My vegan Reuben was good, though just a bit dry. They also have Athletic Brewing Company on tap, which is something I don't often see for NA beer. My main complaint was the crowd. It was really loud and rowdy. Even outside, I could barely hear my partner across the table despite the TVs being muted and no one actively cheering. The tipping setup felt deliberately misleading and excessive, with the options reversed so the highest percentage (40%) appears first and decreases from there.

I have driven past this Salt Lake City gem many times and finally stopped in for a Sunday brunch. I was quite impressed. The atmosphere is relaxed and chill with good music and very friendly and attentive staff. The decor is unique too. You can order via the QR code or ask for a menu. They have a wide selection of drinks (full bar) and great food options for all including vegans. I will for sure be back! Great food, great service and pricing is very reasonable too.

So excited to find a spot that had a whole vegan menu as well as the regular menu! It makes it easier to be able to go out with friends and be able to enjoy a meal myself without just having to get a salad! I came with a group of friends from work while I was in town visiting and everyone loved the items they ordered. I got the peach frost bite to drink, the vegan spinach artichoke dip, and the vegan Monterey club wrap. The drink was dangerously good as it didn't taste like alcohol or too strong! The spinach artichoke dip was bomb, so much so all the non-vegans enjoyed it just as much as I did. The wrap was spectacular as well. So tasty and flavorful!! The server took great care of the table and was friendly and helpful! The bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of seating inside and out on the patio. Love that it's a dog friendly patio, the smoke was just too strong out there from those that were smoking for us to sit out there and enjoy it.

The food here is so good! A laid back type of bar environment with great service. I've eaten in and gotten food to go as well and I am always happy with what I get. Especially the wings!! Great gluten free options as well

Handlebar is my new favorite patio bar in SLC. It's large, dog-friendly, has plenty of seating, TV's, fire pits, and more. The food was better than I was anticipating. The handlebar mustache pretzel?! An instant hit. Pillowy perfection. The wings were SO good and the smoked chicken wrap was equally delicious. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is very clean. My friend and I brought our pups along and the staff scanned our ID's and our dogs vax tags before letting us in through the side gates. It was a super seamless process. I can't wait to go back when the weather is even nicer for brunch and trivia night.

We had a lengthy layover in Salt Lake so we decided to venture out and grab some food in the area. This place was fun, they had trivia night going, and if we lived in the area our group or girlfriends would be here! I had the vegan Buffalo Chick'n Mac & the vegan pulled "pork" sandwich and they were both amazing! Great server and service overall.

My husband, dogs and I came here on a Sunday afternoon for a beer. We chose this place because it's advertised as being dog friendly. When we pulled up we saw an outdoor patio with bicycles bolted to the perimeter and gay pride flags posted from the eaves. We went to the host and he led us to a padlocked gate, let us in and locked it back up. We picked our own table. There were lots of different patrons there wearing rainbow and tie dye attire with dogs. There was a good amount of shade. Our server showed up with dog water and then took our order. We were happy to get 16 oz cans of Coors Lights for $4.50 each. When we left, the host showed up to unlock the padlock and let us out.

The bar maybe what people go here for... well... and the vegan selections. But the rest of the food was just ok... not great for bar food which tends to be extra yummy. Super disappointed in the Philly Cheese Steak. Who ever is making that clearly hasn't had one from Philly.

Pet friendly and outdoor dining is cute as can be!!!

Came to SLC for Christmas vacation w our pup and was pleasantly surprised at how pet friendly the place is! Ayo Terry was our server and he was fantastic! All around a good time! Great recommendations and service; all staff were so so kind and friendly. Patio was spacious and so cute! It was pretty cold out but the fire/heaters made it nice and cozy! The Mac and cheese was so delish! Same w the pretzel! Would definitely recommend for a great bite regardless of whether you have a pup or not

The bike decor is so cute at this place! They have a beautiful patio and tons of seating inside as well which was great cause we brought our whole football team. I got a burger with salad. The burger was huge and had lots of toppings. The fry sauce was great. Our servers were awesome even though the place was very busy. They also had musical bingo which was super fun and less loud/ annoying as trivia.

Sunday Brunch time! Came here for a post Halloweekend brunch with the pals! The mimosa for $2 are unbeatable and get the job done! I got a handlebar pretzel and it was adorable! It was the perfect atmosphere for a fall brunch with the fire pit! The pretzel was HUGE and so flufffy! The beer cheese was delicious and the mustard was perfectly sweet! The tiger Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious and looked amazing! Just the right amount of spice and sauce! The bone in Buffalo wings were nice and crispy, perfectly coated with hot sauce. Will definitely be back for more! Huge shout out to piper, Mike and krista for their wonderful service!

This was a great bar to stop by for a bite. They have a great outside area that has live music as well. The food offered was more than just bar food. Sandwiches are delicious and the waffle fries were amazing. Highly recommend!

Their chickpea bao buns with chipotle aioli blew me away. It was the perfect level of spicy and very filling without making me feel heavy. It seemed actually nutritious, so no need for the guilt after (that I saved for the cinnamon roll dessert I picked up at the same time). The price was also very affordable. I love how much variety is available here and that it's all vegan. I always feel spoiled for choice, I never know what to get because it all looks so good. There's a decent amount of seating inside. The ladies at the shop are always very friendly. This is an amazing spot for a sweet treat or a quick meal. One of my top vegan spots in Salt Lake.

Their burritos and fries are my go-to favorites. The burritos are just top-notch, but I have a soft spot for their fries -- it's kind of an inside joke for me. Whenever I go out to eat with people, they always say, "Well, I know what El is having," because I always get fries with my food. But theirs are surprisingly amazing. Fries are usually just "fine" or "good," but theirs? They're very good. The owner is incredibly kind, and their baked goods are fantastic -- especially the peanut butter brownie, which I can't recommend enough. Their soft serve is also really good, and I'm excited to try some of their candy next time. I even took a non-vegan friend there, and he really enjoyed the food. Beyond the food, the team is so nice, and they have a little vegan market with some really cool products. I bought about half a pound of vegan bacon from them, and now I'm making all kinds of breakfast sandwiches at home. If you're in the area, whether you're vegan or not, Sweet Hazel is a must-visit. And if you can't stop by in person, their partner company Break Free Candy ships their sweets, which is awesome. Seriously, if you order anything from the menu, make it the peanut butter brownie. It's life-changing -- and I say that as a huge brownie lover.

A Place That Fails on Every Level, Safety, Integrity, and Basic Care…read more I've eaten here multiple times and every visit left me, my friends and family feeling physically ill. Why? Because they use cheap low quality canola oil and it shows both on the palate and in the body. But the deeper issue isn't just what's in the food. It's what's rotting beneath the surface. A close friend of mine Brittney (17 and under age in this experience) reached out to the owner to explore a collaborative business opportunity. Instead of professionalism she was met with a shocking invitation to hot tub together. Completely inappropriate and wildly unprofessional. Even more disturbing are the longstanding sexual allegations against kitchen staff he's kept on for years. Employees are routinely fired often for things they didn't do while the owner claims surveillance cameras prove it. Yet those cameras never seem to catch actual wrongdoing. Convenient isn't it. Meanwhile he creates a culture of fear instability and dismissal. People are disposable. Boundaries are not respected whether in the kitchen or in conversation. This isn't just a bad dining experience. This is a pattern of neglect abuse of power and willful ignorance. I urge you support businesses that respect people, employees, customers and community. This is not one of them.

When I arrived, it seemed like the kitchen was understaffed. The person at the front was doing his best to take orders and cook at the same time, which I respect, but it did mean a long wait for food. Another table that ordered after me was served first, and when my food finally arrived, the biscuits were unfortunately very undercooked--pretty raw in the middle. I was starving, so I ate them anyway rather than wait even longer, but it was disappointing. The vegan cookie I got wasn't very good either--kind of dry and bland--but again, I ate it because I was really hungry. The biggest issue, though, was the group of five people loudly rehearsing a play at full volume right in the middle of the restaurant. I totally respect the arts and love that people are creating things--but the entire time, they were projecting their lines as loudly as possible. It was impossible to read or relax. I was quietly working on finalizing the publication of my novella, and even though I was doing something creative too, I managed to do it respectfully and silently from my seat. I really think a different venue--or at the very least, a lower volume--would have made a big difference for everyone else there. That said, I'd still be willing to give this place another shot. The food has a lot of potential, and I think with a little more structure and a quieter atmosphere, it could be a great spot.
