Was looking for a classic NY slice and Hank's delivered. All the classic options were available and well stocked. They were heated up fast and crispy crust. There's some standing room inside, seating upstairs, or plenty of seating in the park across the street in the tree's shade. Would recommend!

small & shared pizza joint with a bagel shop in the touristy destination of the World Trade Center / oculus. Honestly wasn't expecting much from this spot due to its location and the bunch of tourists inside hahah. Came in to try the fluffy & big square slices I saw passing by. Was a lil bit pricey (~6.50) for a slice but it was filling and had a classic nyc slice taste to it. Loved the dough as it was crunchy but soft inside. Compliments the cheese and pepperoni really well.

I love this pizza joint I stumbled into on a cold New York Saturday evening, after checking out the Mercer Lab art and technology museum close by (which I also highly recommend). There are pizza slices sold by the slice and heated in a pizza oven for you, and you can also order whole pies. There is an upstairs area where you can dine inside with a beautiful view of a plaza in NYC where there are trees. They were playing festive winter holiday music, and their store was decorated with holiday lights which was really nice to dine around. There are also a handful of outlets if you need to charge your phone.

Nice place right outside WTC, pizza and sandwiches shop, the pizza is good I always stop here and grab a slice. Outside seating is available for your dining pleasure. Dave P didn't give it a great store but he's biased against any place selling more then just pizza..lol

So good!!! Or as we say back home good AF!

My wife and I were in New York and decided to jump on the subway and ended up on Trinity place found a place called Hank's pizza. It's a little small shop but let me tell you the pizza is outstanding.

Awesome pizza. This was our first New York pizza and I was highly impressed with the taste and the crust. The view on top of it was gorgeous. Worth checking out.

Fast service and many pizza options. The slices are large and heated nicely. Unfortunately, I didn't find the pizza anything special to other places. Nice place to eat outside and enjoy the view.

It's been several years since I visited New York City. Near our hotel, a passerby recommended Hanks pizza for a late-night slice of New York's finest. Next time I'll go to my old, reliable Yelp and find a New York-style pizza place that serves actual pizza, not cardboard with sauce and cheese on it. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was all New York, but the pizza could've been made anywhere in the United States with no special ingredients or skill.

I stopped here for lunch while passing by and got a margarita slice, a pepperoni slice and a chocolate chip cookie. The margarita slice was good and had thicker cheese than most places, which I enjoyed. The pepperoni slice was good and had thicker sliced pieces of pepperoni, and it wasn't oily. The chocolate chip cookie was soft and had plenty of chocolate chips in it, but it could've been warmed up.

This place is a combination of a sandwich place and Hank's pizza. No seating at all. For pizza, Hank's just doesn't cut it. They had one margarita pizza and the rest was square thick slices. We picked up a square pepperoni slice and it cost almost $7. It was totally not worth it as it had very dry crust at the bottom, too thick, very little sauce, and tasteless cheese. The spicy pepperoni that curls up and is nicely charred was good, but could not save the slice. Avoid this place and walk down the road to Joes.

Pizza was average. Crust was crispy, and flavorless. Sauce was bland, so was the cheese.

Good pizza, fast and convenient, reasonable. My favorite for a quick pit stop when I'm downtown.

Best gluten-free pizza I have ever had. [Full Stop]…read more I've had a lot of GF pizza. I've tried to come here in the past -- but it didn't work out. I ordered via Uber Eats this time, and MAN -- I was blown away. I honestly thought that they had screwed up and sent me a gluten version. I checked the order and receipt. It was so good -- the crust so chewy with bite -- but light and airy and tight -- the cheese and toppings all great and fresh and delicious. It tasted like an awesome piece of NYC pizza. I was so happy. I did some Claude sleuthing -- and think I'm onto their magic with the crust -- and am excitedly going to experiment in my home kitchen in the coming weeks (Neapolitan oven, be damned!).

Located at 309 West 50th Street in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the casual eatery has an extensive list of pizzas. Don Antonio has over 30 types of Neapolitan pizzas, and the menu is a little bit daunting at first due to so many options, but even the pickiest eater will find something they'll want to eat. To top that off, Caporuscio recently debuted a brand new pizza tasting menu that features a curated lineup of never-before-seen pizza napoletana, and seven varieties of pizza fritta (fried pizza). We started with two fabulous drinks: An Espresso Martini and their signature Limoncello Margarita. We shared the Shaved Brussel Sprout Salad and it was fabulous. The bits of bacon, combined with the spiciness of the pepper spices, made this a perfect starter. The entree was also shared and it was the Spicoli 2.0 Pizza. I cannot recommend this pie, enough. You will taste flavors that you've probably never experienced before with a pizza. Also, the different textures of the arugula, creaminess of the cheese, and the perfect crust will make it a memorable selection. For dessert, we shared the Buttermilk Panna Cotta. Each spoonful of those strawberries, dancing with the firm custard and glaze, made this a stupendous cap to the meal.

RIGHT BY THE DOOR. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
