I was lucky enough to snag two of her famous pistachio kenefah chocolate bars. Not only are they beautiful to look at but they are also delicious! They are worth every penny because she uses quality ingredients and you can definitely taste it! I arrived at noon and there was already a short line ahead of me. My girlfriend has been trying to find the Dubai chocolate for some time and I recently discovered Hanna's Chocolate's through Yelp. The storefront is very pretty and well organized with many different options of chocolates to choose from. The sales associate who assisted us was kind and helpful. However, when she realized what we were there for, she started asking about the other places we have been to for the specific Dubai chocolate. When I mentioned a specific location, her first instinct was to express how their chocolate was "waxy" with a sour look on her face. Overall, our experience was quite interesting and the chocolate was good, but the only downside is the thought of a business putting down other businesses, let alone a family owned one who we enjoyed. We enjoyed the chocolate and appreciate the unique craftsmanship that Hanna puts into her chocolates, but we thought the sale tactics were off putting and a bit pushy. I understand the competitiveness among businesses marketing the same product, but I believe there are better ways to go about it without criticizing your competitors. read more

Love Hanna's Chocolates! What a great place! We try to go here once a week after dance class! It is such an amazing place! There is always something new to try or buy. And a lot of the chocolates seem unique that i don't see other shops have. Also it is great that Hanna is at the shop a lot of the time, which makes the experience wonderful for myself and the family because the chocolates are great and it is a great experience to also talk to the creator of the chocolates. Hanna has such a love and passion for her choclate creations that it is fun to talk to her about the chocolates at her store. The Customer Service is really great here too, Hanna is attentive, accommodating, and sweet with her approach. We just always get the feeling how much she loves chocolate or her creations and sharing it with the world! Tried the bon-bons and macaroons...great variety and excellent taste. My wife and daughter, both of whom are much more culinarily sophisticated, give them top marks. We were initially looking to trek up to the city to pick up Dandelion chocolates for co-workers for the holidays and realized that the order if shipped, we couldn't get in time, and for pick-up, the timing offered was not working out logistically. So, we wondered if there were any local chocolatiers and discovered Hanna's on Yelp! Knowing and supporting local businesses is important to us so, we were ecstatic to find a local one. We were looking to place holiday orders, and they were quick to respond and accommodated us to pick up the boxes we needed the next day! The holiday orders we ended up picking up were just perfect! Each of the chocolates was not only delish but also loved the flavors! It's a cute shop, really clean and modern and her flavors are uniquely yummy! Give her chocolates a try as we found them to be better than chocolates from Paris or Belgian AND Dandelion! I wish more people knew about this cute boutique chocolate shop and give them even more business! I love this place! They have many very high quality items. I would liken them to Kollar Chocolates in Yountville. I like the Passionfruit caramels, rochers, and pretty much all of their bon bons! Their products are beautiful, delicious, and the chocolate is smooth. I have yet to try their coffee drinks, but I'm sure they'll be just as delicious. I do want to note, they make a vegan caramel and it's also amazing. I hope there can be more vegan offerings in the future. Went today and, wow, I was blown away! I LOOOOOOVE fruity white chocolate, so I got the matcha, lemon cheesecake, pineapple/coconut/macadamia nut. I also got the fig/goat cheese because the wonderful woman working said it tastes like a charcuterie board, PB&J and passionfruit, which were also very good! I got the pistachio + raspberry bar which was phenomenal and I never thought of pairing those. I tried samples of the milk chocolate honeycomb and dark chocolate passionfruit bars which I will be returning for!!! Highly recommend. While the shapes are similar, the decorations are varied and eye catching, and the flavors vary from punchy (passion fruit) to subtle and sophisticated (goat cheese walnut fig). With the presentation and packaging, these would make a lovely thank you gift or special gesture to a loved one. Glad to have found a more accessible alternative to some other longtime favorite artisan chocolate shops in SF and Berkeley. I place a custom order for my sister's engagement party and I can definitely say they came out amazing! The theme color was sage green and beige. We ordered 36 macaroons(matcha, vanilla, and cookies and creams) and 24 matcha bon bons. Everyone at the party loved them and said it was one of the best that they had. The size of the macaroons were huge and both the macaroons and bonbon flavors were amazing! Found this place while looking to grab lunch. Stepped in and the person who was working was pleasant to deal with, seemed a little surprised when I asked for a dozen bon bons and said "surprise me" fact is I just couldn't make up my mind. She also did me a favor and wrote down the flavors so I wouldn't have to guess. Only had a couple so far but these taste awesome. It's in kind of a weird location? Not hard to get to or anything but it is kind of in a corner. The signage definitely makes it stand out. I'm not sure how often I'll be out in that area but I'll have to remember this shop for next time. read more
