I normally never complain but my experience here was too unacceptable. I had the worst manicure I ever had experienced. I had an acrylic removal with manicure service with Lana. She literally saw my flinch and say that she was hurting me during the removal process and kept proceeding. No apology, no nothing. Told me to keep still. I was ready to just get up and leave right then and there but I stayed being that we already started; might as well finish. Then a regular returning customer came in and told her she's not busy. I'm actually in pain today because my toenails where cut SOO short. Not only that but after an hour and a half the polish wasn't dry and wiped right off. All the polish seems to be VERY old as well. The lady who did my nails was super nice, I just feel like the service wasn't top notch. Everything felt a little rushed. I got a set of acrylics and a pedicure (costing 75 total, 85 with tip) and I was out in about 45 minutes. Seemed a little quick to me. I haven't got my nails done in years. I remember getting my cuticles pushed back/cleaned, hang nails taken off, etc, but none of that was done for my hands or feet. She just applied the acrylics right onto my fingers. Also, I have big waves on my toenails and usually the nail tech will buff them out. That did not happen at this place. She just applied the polish straight onto my toes. She also did not put a base coat or a top coat which I thought was strange. I think I was in the pedicure chair for maybe 10 minutes. I know it's been a while since I've got anything done, so maybe things have changed. I just felt like it was a bit pricey for how little was done. I am happy with my acrylics overall, my pedicure not so much. I could have just painted my toenails at home. There was paint missing off a large part of my big toenail (she had missed it with the brush). I didn't really notice until about an hour after I got home. I tried to go back around 3pm and the door was locked. No one was inside even though the open sign was on. Tried calling, but no answer. Not mad or anything, I just probably won't be a returning customer. Lol. I'll try somewhere else when I decide to get my nails done in another couple years. read more

I went here for a pedicure based on the yelp reviews. The price was decent for a spa pedicure ($25.) However, I decided to add on gel instead of regular polish which was another $20 (which is pretty standard as well.) So here's the deal... 1. STAFF Staff was fairly nice. All three people spoke to me and I didn't have to wait long to get into the chair. 2. PRODUCT So this is why they only get three stars. I choose gel because a gel pedicure should last longer. (FYI- I also made sure to choose the OPI gel product because some of the other gels are not as good.) The pedicure looked good for about two days then it began to look like the gel was lifting. This was definitely related to the mediocre application of the gel product. The tech somewhat rushed and was somewhat sloppy so the result was lack luster. Disappointing! 3. CUSTOMER SERVICE Another thing I was somewhat... Eh, about was the fact that they charged me for a big toe fill. (FYI- I have acrylic on my big toes because they have a tendency to brake on me.) Most places will comp the fill when you are getting a spa pedicure and gel as a courtesy because of the amount of money your spending. Not here they charged me. (This affected the tip to the tech because I felt some type of way about it.) Lana is awesome! She is a small business owner that other businesses can learn from. Her hours are posted until 11p! A regular customer came in and Lana was taking care of 3 of us at the same time (one was getting her feet prepped for a pedi, one was getting his fingers soaked for a mani, and she was finishing up my acrylic gel mani because she already finished my pedi!). She told her regular she could take her at 11p. I was so impressed with her business ethics. My mani/pedi looked great! She was quick and efficient. The first couple visits I had lasting results with the strength of my nails. Because it is near my house and my nails looked ok, I tolerated the insulting and derogatory remarks made to me by Lana. For example Lana said things to me like: My eyebrows were terrible looking, my choice of nail style & colors looked like a young person would choose and I was way too old for that according to her. Then on my last visit one nail needed a repair and she put acrylic over it, no different from any of my others that were getting filled. I've come here 2 times with my friend. The first time I waited for an hour to get a pedi, but that was fine since there was only one woman working. The pedi was standard, the gel color was a great color, applied horribly. Still, I tipped and left. My friend had 2 nails break off the next day. She fixed them for free, but then another broke less than a week later. My friend decided she wanted nails done again later at night,and this was the only place open near us. I reluctantly agreed to give it another try. This time I just wanted to get a fill and a color change. I regret it now. The nail thickness and shape are uneven, the color application is horrible and bubbled and wrinkled. I've never seen this happen. I left with my gel polish half done, my thumb nail literally has polish on half of it. She doesn't apply the polish evenly or even on the whole nail, but still coated my skin with the clear coat:/ when I told her I didn't like how bumpy looked and that I wanted the polish to the edge of my nail, she blamed the fact that I had my child there and that I didn't get a manicure. My child was sitting, and not disruptive the whole time. My cuticles were trimmed and pushed back. The terrible job had everything to do with her skill level. Lana does an amazing job, literally the polish on my pedicure easily lasts a month without chipping even in the summer when I'm in the pool a lot. I will admit I have tried other places that offer Groupons but I find they are mediocre at best and find myself wishing I hadn't wasted my money elsewhere. Absolutely the worst nail experience of my life. First off, the lady was extremely rude and would pull my hands very hard if I was not close enough. When she was using a file, she missed my nail and started to file my finger. She did not stop until I pulled my hand away in pain. She then saw the bleeding cut and said "sorry, this is an extremely old file". She then put a greenish blue liquid in it, without asking me or telling what it was. It hurt extremely bad. I rarely give bad reviews, but this place is so disappointing. I came in to get my toes and nails done here because they are opened late while everywhere closes early. There was only one worker and 10 other customers waiting when I got there. The worker said she is the owner of the place. Well, she was very unorganized. She wasn't taking the customers in the order that they came in and when customers tried to leave, she begged them to stay. When it came to my turn, the lady really rushed doing my nails. Now normally, I wouldn't complain, but the nail polish was all clumpy on my nails and she somehow got a bunch of glitter on my nails when I wanted no glitter. The lady then redid my nails....only when Ieft the store and got in my car, the nail polished started peeling off. It was such a waste of money and time. Lana and I were building a nice relationship for a while and even talked about how in most nail salons the ladies rush you and do not care if you come back or not. Well... everything was fine until the day I was getting a pedicure and was gonna get my gel mani afterwards( as usual ) when some other client called to schedule an appointment. Lana told her to come in one hour because she was busy with me and the lady said "ok". When I told Lana I did not need my cuticles removed this time, she immediately called the lady and told her "can u come now?" She wasn't even finished with my pedicure and was telling someone else to come! I was like, please don't rush on me and she kept saying "don't worry". When she started with my gel nails, I told her to stop because that wasn't the color I had chosen, it was far off from the pink I had picked out, but she didn't care and continued to do it. When I asked for the usual glitter, she said she had to charge me more cause it was too much work. She did an awful job and didn't care to apologize. I told her I was not going to come back. Even though the shop closes at 7pm, she stays back and does whatever you want to do if you walk in a little past 7. It is perfect for anyone who works late. I go in there to get a pedicure and I pay for the $25 one and it took all of 8 -10 minutes to do. It was suppose to come with a foot and leg massage but all she did was put my feet in water, clip my toe nails and put lotion on my feet. Some lady walked in and wanted something done with her eyelashes and got up and left me there for twenty plus minutes to help the other customer.
