Love the food and the service !! Had egg fried rice and pork Xiao long bao and shrimp dumplings and pork cabbage dumplings. Bathroom's are also important.

Xiao Long Bao (pork) nice and soupy and the wrapper was delicate cs thick and gummy

Continually discovering new places for dumplings and other great Asian bites. This is a second location of the original at Mekong Marketplace in Mesa. It came as a complete surprise that they had a new location in the West Valley...just 2 miles from my ride-or-die! We dined there Saturday for lunch. Service was efficient, food was great and people were waiting for tables when we left. Highly recommend the pork Xiao Long Bao. The other item we ordered were the dumplings on spicy sauce. I didn't love the spicy sauce for these as much as the ones I crave from Uncle Panda/Uncle Bao (the crushed peanuts and spicier sauce does it for me!), but they were still quite good. Lots of flavor and nuance in both items, which, for me, really elevates the experience. I know everyone is all abuzz about the fancy Din Tai Fung in Scottsdale, but I like the local family places more. That said, I haven't been to DTF yet. Please join me in supporting this new location or any family run restaurant. It's a hard business!

I came to Happy Bao and left being a Sad Bao. Staff were very friendly and nice. Vibe inside was clean and chill. Food: I was kinda disappointed on the flavors of the dumplings. The flavors wasn't really there. They all tasted the same, just bland. Only food I like was the pork wonton noodle, its was flavorful. Please add more flavor to your dumplings!! Chili oil wasn't spicy at all, we asked for spicy sauce. Not even a hit of spicy.

While visiting Phoenix, we met with some local friends for lunch. It was very yummy! Didn't realize they'd just opened this location in the spring. All of the food we had was delicious! They were sold out of chicken and pork soup dumplings, so we settled for seafood. The cucumber salad was my favorite- the garlic was so tasty. I would honestly say it's comparable to Din Tai Fung! Fried rice was delicious too- the flavors were great. Definitely recommend stopping by! The family who runs it is so kind.

Ummmmm yes a must try!!! I tried all the things and can't wait to try more!!! I really enjoyed everything that I got! It was packed when I got there for my pick up making me lowkey happy I was taking it to go! It's a smaller space but clean and the food is good so if you're willing to wait a little bit for a table you'll be fine! The food was fresh hot and I also added the homemade chili sauce sooooo worth it!!

Im so happy they have a location in north phx now. The food was great and in my opinion, better than din tai fung's! The skin of the xlb is much softer and they have more soup inside them. The service was good, it is a small business. I wish they had a little bit more space inside but overall, everything was great.

Fantastic service, food and super relaxed atmosphere. $40 was a great deal for all of this. We'll be back!

Food is truly amazing, have had soup dumplings in Hong Jong and this is comparable

Absolutely loved our experience at Happy Bao in Glendale! We ordered the chicken xiao long bao, hot & sour noodle soup, cucumber salad, and beef sheng jian bao--and every single thing was SO good! The hot & sour noodle soup was incredible and definitely a standout. The cucumber salad was such a pleasant surprise and quickly became one of our favorites--so refreshing and flavorful! The chicken xiao long bao were delicious, and the beef sheng jian bao were just as amazing. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and seriously satisfying. We'll absolutely be back to try more of the menu!

My family and I had pork green chives, chicken cabbage dumplings, house-fried rice and I don't remember what else. Goodness gracious! Everything was so delicious from the first bite to the last. The service was great. They checked up on us every 7-10 mins to make sure we had enough water, chili sauce, ginger and napkins. The vibes of this establishment is very welcoming and comforting. They gave us advice on the mixology of sauces for our food. If you're a family of 5 or more and looking for a place that serves family portions I highly recommend this place! We're definitely coming back on our next family outing.

They have a bright menu with a lot of pictures. Chill vibes. Pokémon was on, they have a big tv with it on. No idea if that's what they always play bc I wasn't fully watching. Food was pretty decent. We bought a spread so we could taste different things. The seafood xiao long bao was decent. Mild flavor, thin wrapper. They have a vinegary xiao long bao sauce on the table to accompany it. It tastes even better with it. It's not overly salty, which is always good. Kiddo ordered Lu Ro Fan and hated it. I tried it, it was fine. She just wasn't a fan of the textures but said flavor wise it was fine. You get a good size portion of food, there's a lot of flavors. I actually liked it and would eat it again. The only thing I thought could improve was having a softer boiled egg. It was fully hard boiled, just shy of getting the gray color on the yolk. Service was okay. Nothing to complain about, nothing special. You order from a QR code at the table. The dumplings were very mid. The wrappers were so thick. I think I'm extra particular because when I make mine I like thinner wrappers. Filling was okay, not that flavorful. On the table they have a dumpling sauce as well. We also ordered the Sheng Jian Bao combo. They were okay. Mild in flavor. Not bad but needed something flavor wise to step it up. Would I come back? Yes, there's still other things I want to try.

I love the soup dumplings here, they're always flavorful and satisfying. The beef noodle soup is also excellent, warm, comforting, and perfect for any day. This location is very clean, spacious, and offers plenty of seating, making it a great place to dine in. Service is fast, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, a wonderful dining experience that keeps me coming back.

Absolutely incredible. Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor and tasted incredibly fresh. The soup dumplings were the standout, perfectly juicy with a rich, savory broth inside. The pan-fried soup buns had an amazing crispy sesame-coated bottom while staying soft and juicy on top. The spicy wontons were coated in a flavorful chili oil that had just the right amount of heat, and the beef noodle soup was comforting, rich, and loaded with tender beef that fell apart with every bite. The service was friendly, the food came out hot and fresh, and you can tell everything is made with care. If you're a dumpling lover, this place is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

Xiao Lomg Bao on the spoon. They serve with dipping sauce as well as fresh ginger and chili oil.

The concept is really fun and unique. When you walk in, you scan a QR code at your table to place your order, if you need help they are there to help you, and your meal is brought to your table in a boiling hot pot that continues to cook your food. I ordered the vegetable hot pot with lamb on the side, my daughter got the kimchi dumpling hot pot, and her friend ordered the seafood hot pot. Everything came out steaming hot, fresh, and full of flavor. If you need more broth, they're happy to bring you extra. The atmosphere is calm, and relaxing, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. They also serve complimentary green tea, which was such a nice touch. It reminded me of going to Chinese restaurants as a kid when they would bring hot tea to the table. It brought back wonderful memories. The regular size was more than enough food for me, and the staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and quick to prepare and serve everything. I definitely recommend Tasty Pot if you're looking for a comforting, flavorful meal and a fun dining experience. I'll definitely be back again!

When we got a table, we ordered using the QR code. It took a bit of time for our food and drinks to come. But the spot was pretty busy. Only saw the server when they brought our drink and our food, and when we ordered additional drinks. This is not like the typically hot pot spots where they bring you the broth and meats/veggies separately to cook yourself. You pick a "soup" premade and it comes to your table in a hot clay pot. It's a bit heavier broth. Definitely not what my taste buds enjoy. However my husband liked it. I don't think I'll dine here again only because I prefer the cook myself experience, simple ingredients, and lighter broth.
