This was our first time visiting Happy Camper. We heard great things about it and wanted to give it a try for our Father's Day celebration with family. We absolutely loved the place and had a great time. We were even able to watch the World Cup soccer game while enjoying our meal...very Fun!!! The food was delicious, especially the corn dip, which was a favorite at our table, the drinks were so refreshing as well. We would definitely recommend it especially to big groups or if you want to watch the game while eating. We had only one issue we experienced with our server. He was nice an welcoming, but when he brought us the takeout boxes and then the check, he seemed to be in a rush and tossed them onto the table rather than placing them down. One of the boxes actually fell off the table, and we had to catch it. Although the place was not very busy at the time, the interaction felt rushed and made one member of my family uncomfortable. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience, enjoyed the food and atmospher. We look forward to coming back.
TL;DR: Large fun open space with cute seasonal decorations paired with great service. Unfortunately, the food was just average Came with a large (10) party and the servers were kind enough to help arrange tables and seats to allow us to sit together on short notice. The server was quick to bring our orders and ask if we needed anything else, something that we all appreciated While we ordered 'carb-y' items, the lack of flavor was a let down. The pizza was only average and the crust was too bready to finish. The pretzel had a good color but it was missing the classic pretzel lye taste and tasted more like light dusting of baking soda. Don't let the large flakey salt fool you. The dips for all the dishes were the saving grace and although combined was alright, the food should not have to rely on the dip/sauce to save it. Street parking wasn't too difficult to find which was a plus Keeping Happy Camper in our back pocket for future family/friends gatherings
Went with a group of friends on a Saturday night following the Rockies game and it was crowded. The ambiance has such a cute theme and very well themed out! The service was okay, especially with how busy it was! We started with a round of champagne flutes which kicked us off to a great start. We ordered some table apps that included: 1. Burrata: super fresh and I loved the garlic bread pieces! It definitely needs more. 2. Whipped Feta: this was good but a bit too sweet for my liking. A lot of honey, but such a great variety with pita and garlic bread 3. Elote Dip: perfectly cheesey, but could use bread over chips with this one. I wish it had an option! For pizzas we did two different ones: 1. Neubla: it was a spicy pepperoni with hot honey. Could definitely use more ricotta! but so good. 2. Chicken Pesto: this had a great crust However for BOTH pizzas it definitely needed more sauce, it was a bit too dry for both. Overall I would come back for the atmosphere! It was such a great time! Food was mid!
Wow what a fun spot - great for groups! Thanks to our friend who picked this place - you definitely need reservations! I loved the whole ambiance - ground was all astro-turf and you're eating outdoors but the ceiling is all canopies - but you can see a sliding roof option when needed. The only downside with being outdoors is that the seats had a lot of debris which our butts helped clean when scooting over the booth seats (you're welcome!). Plates also covered with debris - but nothing a quick brush off can't help. Otherwise great menu selections and the food was all delicious - I'd still come again for sure! WHIPPED FETA - $15 Honey, pistachios, crostini, pita .... so good! BURRATA - $15 Fig jam, sun-dried pesto, basil, balsamic drizzle, crostini ... so good too! If you love sweet-n-salty, you will love this app. My favorite of the evening! BIRRIA 'ZA - $18 (small) The small size is a lot - I could only eat 2 slices (half pizza)! Birria beef, Chihuahua cheese, jalapenos, Spanish onions, cilantro, lime, garlic & oil, served w/ side of consomme. It was quite heavy & salty ... very filling for sure. The original crust was very good - crispy outisde, chewy inside. NADENE - $18 (small) Cupped pepperoni, hot honey, ricotta, basil, mozzarella, & marinara. Also original crust. Very good! Next time I'd like to try their Tavern style crust which is extra thin & crispy.
This was our last stop on our Denver trip after I saw the crunchy chicken Caesar wrap on TikTok! There is free parking on the street, just make sure you watch the signs carefully! The staff here was SO sweet, very friendly and had great vibes! It wasn't busy while we were there but our server was fantastic! The decor in here is soooo cute! It's all outdoor stuff but brought indoors! There were bag hooks underneath the tables(love that!!) And some many large spaces to bring a larger group! We got the Nadene pizza and the viral crunchy chicken Caesar wrap! They were both phenomenal! I'm so sad we don't live local because we would absolutely be back!! The food service and vibes are all on point at this place! If you haven't tried them, get moving!
We had a nice time! We ordered the cheese sticks and truffle fries both very good and lots of cheese. Pepperoni pizza was good a bit crunchy which isn't my preference. Staff is very friendly and food came out very quick. It's a fun spot, lots of photo opportunities and very fun vibes. Overall very much enjoyed our time!
This was my first time here. I came with my family and we decided to come during Happy Hour. Parking is on the street. We were able to find a spot just a block away. The entrance is a cool, twinkle light arched "hallway" that leads up to the host stand. We were welcomed in and seated at one of the high tops near the bar. There are so many cool seating options. Rebecca welcomed us and took our drink orders. I chose to have a glass of Les Sarrins Rosé. My husband got a drink called Trailer Park Queen that consisted of prosecco, St Germain & lemon. My son went for a mocktail called Ginger Baby that had Seedlip Grove, ginger beer, cucumber, mint & lemon. My daughter chose the peach flavor of High Noon. We chose two appetizers from the Happy Hour. Jalapeno Homies, jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese, bacon, cheddar and tomatoes. It came with a side of BBQ sauce. These were a hit! The barbeque sauce put it over the top. Our second appetizer was the hummus. It was roasted red pepper hummus with kalamata olives, sun-dried tomatoes and feta. It was served pita triangles, carrots and cucumber. My son ordered the Chicken Pesto Sandwich. It had grilled chicken, pesto, white American cheese, arugula, sun-dried tomatoes and was served on focaccia bread. It came with fries. He is a huge pesto fan and thoroughly enjoyed his sandwich. My husband, daughter and I decided to share two pizzas. We chose Matt, without mushrooms (I'm allergic). So that left us with the following toppings: mozzarella, Canadian bacon, pepperoni, Italian sausage, green peppers, black olives, cheddar and ranch. Our second selection was the Street Corn pizza. it had mozzarella, roasted corn, cotija cheese, cilantro, avocado crema, cream cheese and the cutest mini tajin bottle to shake on top. We chose the Tavern style, a thin crispy crust and cut into squares. There was enough left to bring home for all of us to have as lunch the next day. Both pizzas were delicious. My favorite was the Street Corn. Overall great experience. Nice staff, great food, fun beverages.
We went for the Christmas bar. We are glad we made a reservation because the place was very busy. The ambiance was beautiful with all the lights and decorations. It wasn't overdone. The service was fast and friendly without feeling rushed. We ordered a pizza and a salad. Both had great flavors and felt substantial for the price. This is a great spot to meet friends or for a fun first date.
I don't even know how to describe this place other than saying it's appropriately named and there's not a thing I would add or take away from the decor or experience. I definitely felt like I'd spent the evening as a "happy camper." From the outside, the place has a glow and just seems loud. It's large. It takes over the entire intersection, though Avanti, the food court and bar with its two stories, towers across the street. It's just an electric energy that pulses from Happy Camper and its patrons. During the summer, the chill patio is hopping. During the winter, it's a warm shelter of neon, sparkle and a cool campfire. These pics are from a Wednesday evening, stopping in for dinner. We had our IDs checked at the door then walked through an arcade of fairy lights to get a table in the back, near the bar. Our server was a complete delight! She was well informed with the menu, helped me pick something that wasn't pizza to eat and guided my friend through a sampling of specialty cocktails while I sipped on my Diet Coke that she didn't let go empty. The wrap was terrific, fries with melted cheese were mouthwatering... honestly surprised I couldn't finish them but it was so filling. All the loud parts I thought would be the experience from the outside actually turned into the perfect place for old friends to catch-up and enjoy some laughs. I mean, for a gal that enjoys discoballs as much as myself, who could ask for a more relaxing backdrop in an evening out?!
I was so impressed with the food here I can't stop thinking about it. We had a reservation for 4 and were pretty late due to game time traffic. They were able to get us back on the list asap and we were seated in no time, despite the house Broncos/Nuggets crowd. Our server warned us the kitchen was behind so we placed our drink and food orders immediately: DRINKS Gin n Tonic Espresso Martini Moscow Mule Pink Flamingo APPETIZERS Truffle fries (10/10) Mozz sticks PIZZA The Tony - mozzarella, prosciutto, spinach, caramelized onion, sun-dried tomatoes, balsamic, goat cheese & cream cheese (genuinely some of the best pizza I've ever had and I worked in high end pizza for 8 years). Food came out surprisingly quick, our server was so kind and the overall feel of the place made the start of our night so so special.
What a cool spot!! And what a great time of year to come experience this lively family-friendly spot! The decorations for the holidays are incredible! The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food was really good! We ordered the jalapeno homies and the the large classic crust Nadene with sides of ranch. The homies were good, definitely on the small side, but flavorful. They are served with a side of bbq sauce which seemed odd but it worked. The Nadene was delicious! The sauce was really good and they put lots of fresh basil on it which is always a bonus! Not all pizza places put a decent amount of basil on and it can make all the difference. The crust was delicious as well, excited to try tavern style next time. Have to say tho that we were not fans of the ranch, but everyone has their own opinion when it comes to the dressing...it just wasn't our favorite. Come here before they take the decorations down! Great spot for the whole family...they even allow dogs Mon-Thurs!!

Friend and I had brunch here on a Sunday afternoon and it did not disappoint. The ambiance is great and the place is really cool to sit and enjoy people watching if you're into that. Service was good and the food drinks were excellent. Drink menu is huge and I pretty sure this place is known for their pizza. I highly recommend this place to anyone and will be visiting again in the future. Enjoy! read more
This spot was so cool looking with all the lights, that was enough for me to want to come back! I came here on a busy weekend night so it was PACKED. They so serve food and still seat people who want to eat, along with if you'd like to hangout at the bar. The bartender we had and server were great! The chicken fingers and fries were perfect! Visited Denver last week and stumbled upon this place! I stayed in the Highlands and walked here on our last night in Denver. It is located in a cute area with other restaurants close by. The service was great and our waiter was attentive. The Birria pizza we ordered was delicious and I've never had a birria pizza before and it was amazing. The crust was soft and flaky. The inside of this place surprised me with the huge disco ball and the campfire. Such a cute and unique place. I would definitely stop in and check this place out!! read more

FIVE STARS FIVE STARS FIVE STARS!! Our server Adrian was the best!! Came in here for my sister's birthday and bachelorette party. We were a small group of 4 and we were seated immediately. Loved the indoor outdoor camping vibes it was so cute. Order a medium size pizza, a small vegetarian pizza, elote dip, and cocktails and there was more than enough food. I had a mocktail and they had great options. Food came out fast and was hot. The quality and flavor was superb for being pizza it certainly felt elevated! Our server was a blast and went above and beyond to make my sister feel special even coming out to "ice" her LOL. He was very attentive to us despite it being back in there. Happy Camper was probably one of my favorite spots I visited in Denver because of the ambiance and vibes, and of course great food and drinks! I would say if you're planning on coming, make a reservation!! My group didn't make a reservation and waited an hour, but it ended up being worth it. While waiting, I got the Big Ass Lemonade, which will definitely hold you over for any wait! It was delicious and tasted just like a fizzy lemonade. For food, we got the Nadene, which came with cupped pepperoni, ricotta, basil, and hot honey. For being a bar type spot, the pizza was amazing! The crust was the right consistency and didn't get soggy at all, and all the toppings added something to the pizza. I would highly recommend this spot as a chill spot to enjoy some sports or just a spot with a big group of friends. read more
This place is such a vibe and perfect for large groups in a fun setting. We came for brunch around 10:15am and had made a reservation a few days before. As soon as you walk in they give you complimentary champagne which is a plus! They have a bunch of different areas for large groups and large couches and/or sitting around a bonfire. The service was great for such a large group and very accommodating! They have an extensive cocktail and brunch cocktail drink menu for everyone. My Bloody Mary came with a slice of pizza on top (so fun!) and the iced coffee drink came with a sugared donut! They are known for the pizza and the food was all actually really good! Everything we had was delicious and lots of different food choices for everyone. Overall, this place is a fun atmosphere for large groups that want to hangout, drink and have a good time! read more
I loved this place so so much!! Our server, Connor, was so great. He was extremely nice, helpful, and honest (we had some issues with things coming out timely) which is very refreshing. While I know most people come for the vibes (which did not disappoint), I think that the food was still very good. I loved my pizza. The portion sizes of everything were good. I also really enjoyed the whipped feta appetizer & the wreck the Halls apple cider shots. Lastly, the Xmas decorations are EVERYTHING! So many places to take great photos. This was the first stop on our list when we landed in Denver, CO! I was overjoyed to see that they had gluten free pizza crust and the Tony was amazing! I love anything with prosciutto and it had such a great flavor to it. Our waitress was nice and efficient and answered every question we had without making us feel like a bother. The service was great! We were a party of 7 and had no issue with seating & food coming out in a . Timely manner. It was evening so it was crowded. The appetizers were awesome. The Nachoes were huge but the flavor was still there. The loaded potato skins were to die for as well. We had whipped feta dip and that was surprisingly refreshing. The drinks were great too! Super cool vibe! Came here for the first time with a friend for a Monday dinner and it was a great time. Surprisingly still pretty busy too! We ate at a high-top table by the bar, which is technically outside but covered, and we weren't cold at all. I got the Pink Flamingo drink and a BBQ chicken pizza - both were soo good!! This was my favorite bar/restaurant I visited during my stay in Denver. The place is very lively and trendy. Loud music, full bar, and food. The salad and pizza we had were delicious. I highly recommend visiting this place as long as you don't mind a noisy environment. read more
Our group came here on a reservation for my step-daughter's birthday following a day at Coors Field watching the Rockies and some gaming at 1UP. As always, the atmosphere was super! Love how the place is decorated and the general feel in the neighborhood. Our minors did have to get Xs on their hands for being underage, which is still bizarre to me for a restaurant, but we went with it. During this visit, we enjoyed many different food choices including a few pizzas (Hawaiian and Tim), chicken Caesar salad, jalapeño homies, a burger, cheese stix, and the dessert board. The staff did say the food might come out at different times, but it was still odd to get an entree salad and burger ahead of our appetizers and our pizza some15-20 minutes later. I also would have preferred a table and chairs over the picnic table style just for comfort. Good beer and cocktail selection rounded out our meal. The restaurant was unfortunately out of the glasses to be able to purchase, but they did let us purchase the one I was drinking from. For $6 each and super cute, they must be very popular as we now have a few from my prior visit and now this new one. Still a cool place to enjoy a meal, drinks, and your group's company. I am certain we will be back when downtown for a game. read more
Place was so hip to walk into. You park on the street and you're greeted with multiple photo opportunities. The food was delicious, as a die hide NYC are is the only place for good pizza I was actually surprised that this was very far off from a CT style pizza which to me isn't 1/2 bad. I highly recommend if your from NYC area to give it a try(it'll be more ct style then ny but still good). Happy camper is one of my favorite restaurants to go to anytime I'm out of town. The ambiance is upbeat With great music . This establishment is well known for the pizza, booze and vibes.when you walk in you're automatically aesthetically please from the giant patio, fire pits that give camping vibes ,a 360 degree bar, a dining room full of disco balls and all the neon lights. For apps I got the potato's skins it came with pulled pork, bacon, cheddar, green onions, tomatoes, sour cream, & a side of bbq honey mustard, pulled pork nachos 10/10 , for drinks I got of course an espresso martini one with tequila and one with vodka for me both was 10/10 if you're a light drinker maybe stick with the vodka since the tequila espresso is very boozy. For my meal I got the Nadene pizza which was soooooo goood the toppings are cupped pepperoni, ricotta, basil, hot honey & marinara base trust me this pizzza will have you always wanting to go to happy camper. For desert we all shared a chocolate chip cookie cake that was very delicious and very rich. read more

Happy camper is a bit touristy but the food is genuinely good, which always surprises me. The portions are huge and the pizzas are amazing. The thin crust is crispy and light, yet packed with flavor! The jalapeño homies are always awesome we got some spicy jalapeños this time around which is always nice. A bit pricey but fun to go to every now and then! read more
Came in for the first time looking for a late night dinner. There was security at the door checking ID's which I founded weird for a restaurant. The decoration and vibes were great! Happy Camper is a super fun spot for drinks, food, or just hanging out. The ambiance is top notch, with fairy lights everywhere, picnic tables, and astroturf so you really feel like you're outside. They even have spots where you can sit around a (fake) bonfire! I had the Grilled Cheese Dippers, which were amazing. A grilled cheese cut into strips, with the tastiest little tomato soup for dipping. The drinks are served cold in a cute little branded glass (I was tempted to steal), the food is great, and the vibes are very welcoming and fun. Definitely recommend! read more
Hands down one of my top BRUNCH spots. No competition. After doing some looking around, I found Happy Camper and knew I had to go. I'm so happy I did. Upon arrival (for New Years!) the vibes were great. Very inviting, cute seating area, large bar, friendly staff. We put our name on the waitlist and went to the bar for drinks. They had so many decorations, themed drinks, and photo opportunities! It was PACKED. They had a lot of TVs too for all the sports fans! I was very impressed with my Bloody Mary. I got it spicy and it did have a kick to it. We also got espresso martinis and those were also phenomenal. These are the two drinks I'm most picky about. Great froth on the martinis and good coffee flavor. Onto the pizza, ohhhh. Myyyy. Mouth watering. It came out and I was salivating. Loaded and topped with all the breakfast things. The crust was cooked to perfection, the eggs were still a little soft, the cheese was nice and melty, and the flavor was so comforting. I can't even put it into words - you must try it for yourself. 999th review wow. I really liked this place. The Christmas decorations when we visited were off the hook. We stayed away because the website said no kids after a certain hour. But I think they changed their policy to just no unaccompanied minors. They did do a thorough check of my id at the door though. I saw a few kids with their families but it wasn't a lot of kids when we visited. I really liked the cocktails and their Happy Camper IPA and the pizza. My favorite was the ice cream sandwich dessert platter. Maybe I was craving sugar but it was delicious and fun. Good service. Fun environment. Look for the White Claw claw machine by the restrooms. :) read more
My experience at Happy Camper Denver was a solid one. I've been to their Chicago location several times when I lived in the Windy City, so when I was put in charge of food for an upcoming girls trip and I discovered they had a location in Denver, I was on it. I made a reservation for 6 directly off their Yelp page and my friends were pleased when they checked out the menu and pictures of the space. Let's just say the entire restaurant is decked out... There's lights just about everywhere, a ton of disco balls, several photo ops, hanging tire swings, and of course a camper. We arrived right on time and our table wasn't ready yet. That's always a pet peeve of mine when I have a reservation, but I get it. After hanging out at the bar for a drink watching baseball, our table was eventually ready. We got a high top and it was perfect for our rowdy bunch. We honestly ordered way too much food but we left with our bellies full and in high spirits. I specifically ordered a small pesto pizza. It came with roma tomatoes, parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, and pesto (duh!). It was delicious and pretty big for being a small. I took my left overs back to our Airbnb and devoured them later. Like I said, we had a solid experience, four stars across the board. If you're looking for a fun time, Happy Camper is a no brainer. read more

We recommend making a reservation as it's the only way to secure seating, but we do take walk-ins!

Where is parking?
We parked along the streets in the neighborhood Happy Camper borders. There were many open spots during the day and scooters are available if you park farther than you'd like to walk.
