This was almost 2 months later had I not checked my account they would have had the payment and I would have lost out on a large amount of money. I even referred this company to a few of my friends and they decided to go another way.... Good thing! I will NEVER REFER anyone to A2B moving company or use them again and if you're moving really research the company before you use. The reason I am making this review is because when I talked to the owner she wasn't sympathetic she said to me it was a very minor mistake. I don't call taking $1350.50 for the same amount that I paid in April and then in June the same amount a minor mistake. I can't bring myself to give them a rating.

On the other hand, things got weird when it was time to pay. I didn't appreciate feeling pressured when they tried to tell me that a 30% tip was the standard. I gave them 20%, which I felt was a good tip and standard for a good job. I was also pressured into writing both a Yelp and Google review, leaving them 5 stars as they hovered over me. They arrived on time and worked very hard and quick to get everything loaded up onto the truck. The movers were very professional and had all the supplies we and they needed. We had some big wire racks and they were able to saran wrap a bunch of boxes on them. They also had some wardrobe boxes that had a rod to hang stuff on. We had stuff at two locations so they had to pick stuff up at one, leave some stuff from spot 1 behind at spot 2, and pick up everything else from spot two before taking it all to its final landing spot. A couple things did break in transit, some cubbies and a glass baking dish, the dish was my fault though as it wasn't wrapped at all, and was in a collapsible bin. They were also able to take away an old mattress, it was a little more expensive that my boyfriend was originally quoted, but after a long day of packing and moving, we were fine paying it to not have to deal with it.

Linda responded to my inquiry and she responded quickly whether it was through Yelp, email or text. Linda answered all my questions and was upfront with their pricing. They had the most reasonable prices compared to other companies I called. I was getting conflicting numbers and we exchanged messages back and forth. The starting rate is $139 per hour, $60 for gas, and $10-15 tip per hour, per mover. Anything past the reserved time would be charged in 15 minute increments. I didn't want to go with this route and reserved 5 hours. During the date of my move, only three movers were available. The scheduled time was 8 am but they arrived early. The lead mover showed me the paper work with their arrival time. This made it easy for us to remember to check the clock once it's getting to the 5 hour mark. They assessed the items that needed to be moved and they brought out these blue large plastic container to cover our items or be filled. The movers worked in different areas of the house. While one took are of wrapping items, the other used their dolly to haul items to the truck, and the third mover rearranged items in the truck. The staff spoke broken English. I met the truck to the new location and they got started with unloading ASAP. They would ask which items would go in which room. Assembly and disassembly were things they could do, but since our items were scattered, we opted out of this. They worked efficiently and were done by 4 hours. Besides the hourly rate, the other charge was $10 for the shrink wrap used on my larger items. After unloading, I paid in cash and gave each of the movers a good tip.

Three young men showed up in a pick up truck without any wrapping materials and blamed their office for lack of materials. After more than an hour, their supervisor showed up with packing materials so the job then took anther 3 hours as all the items they had moved into the garage needed to be removed, wrapped and moved back. We were charged almost $500 for the wrapping materials alone that was ludicrously over priced and additioanlly for 4 hours of labor even though the first hour was basically useless as they showed up without packing materials as ordered. Avoid and look for more professional companies.
