5 stars forever! i'm so happy there's finally a happy lemon up here. i always ventured down all the way to san diego at their convoy location but now i have one 20min from me it replaced the old ding tea but this place is so much better anyway! pulled up on the grand opening and they have a BOGO promo! i came with my mom & baby brother, we ordered 2 honey lemon green teas, a strawberry milkshake, strawberry shortcake, & a green tea with salted cheese! we also ordered 3 bubble waffles. shoutout to the girl who rang me up she was so patient & nice! also shoutout to the guy who called out my order, and literally huge shoutout to the entire staff, i know what it's like to work a grand opening of a brand new shop, so i seriously commend everyone. you guys are doing great through all the chaos and how hectic and loud it gets !!! can't wait to come here again hehe read more

Stopped by for their grand opening BOGO. I got two black tea with salted cheese, one with boba and one with lychee jelly. The one with boba was delicious and one of the best drinks I've had recently! This was surprising to me as they were pretty busy as it was grand opening yet they made my drink so perfectly! The drink was the right balance between the salted cheese and the black tea. The boba was cooked well and very flavorful with the brown sugar it's cooked in. The one with lychee jelly was not particularly my favorite (not their fault) as the lychee jelly flavor overpowered the tea flavor. I wouldn't have known this as I never get lychee jelly. My two negatives is that parking can get crazy at times in this plaza and in the neighboring streets, and the inside can get too cramped if there's a lot of people. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend! read more

I came here after trying a different location and my daughter kept asking me to go back to Happy Lemon. When I looked it up on Yelp, I saw there was a location in Arcadia which was closer to us. Last time, we got the mango Yukult. This time, we got the strawberry shortcake drink and bubble waffles with boba inside. We got a side of the puff cream and the salted cheese. Everything was so good. This is my new favorite boba shop. The salted cheese dip recommended by the owner to go with the boba bubble waffles were soooo good. The owner and employees here are super sweet and helpful. My daughter even noticed how sweet they were here as compared to different locations and told me she loves Happy Lemon and want to only come back to this location, because they were so nice. Can't wait to stop by again! My daughter usually eats the entire waffle and offers me a few, so I'm getting my own next time!! read more

The drinks usually are pretty good. But lately, it's gone downhill at least the lemon drinks or maybe it's only the ones I've ordered. The last couple of times I've ordered a lemon tea, it's consisted of a lot of pulp, seeds and even pieces of lemon peel. While I don't mind if the drink has pulp which is sometimes just unavoidable with fruit based drinks, but the seeds and lemon peels are too much and detracts from the quality and flavor of the drink. I know this shouldn't be the norm since I've been a longtime customer and it wasn't like this before. Also, other places I've tried that have similar kinds of lemon drinks did not include seeds and peels in them. And it seems to only be a recent problem and at this particular location. It was also the same employee who made the drink on those occasions when this happened so maybe that employee just didn't strain it properly to remove the seeds and lemon peels? Anyways, I hope it doesn't continue because I did like their drinks. Also, their drinks are pricey so the quality of the drinks should be worth it and having a drink filled with seeds and peels is not. Other than this minor issue that can easily be fixed, everything else is good, from their service to their location. Their waffles are delicious too. Parking can be difficult sometimes but that has more to do with the size and overcrowded plaza lot layout. read more

Decided to try out this new spot in Arcadia (it's where Ding Tea used to be on Baldwin). The shop is pretty basic inside, not that much different than Ding, just without the large flower decoration on the wall. One adult working there was polite, the other indifferent, and the teen working was almost rude. There were also two other teen employees (according to the shirts they were wearing) who were busy chatting with their friends and blocking the counter. After waiting several minutes, we finally asked them to move so we could order. If we weren't there to support a fundraiser, we would have likely walked out. For the drinks.....they only have soy as a milk alternative. At a time when almost everywhere else has almond and oat, this was disappointing. For this reason we stayed away from the milk teas. The passion fruit tea has a good flavor, but this is one of the tea places that, for some unknown reason, finds it okay to put inedible seeds in their tea. It is rude to have to keep spitting them out. All of their slushies are lemon based. Being that lemon is part of their name, that is one thing, but to have none without lemon? One member of our group did order a slush and couldn't finish it - she started getting acid reflux (not normal for her) because it was so bitter. The fruit teas were okay, but only average for the area. No one in our group found the boba to be good. Each of us thought it to be tough and tasteless. With so many other better options in the immediate area, only another fundraiser would bring any of us back here. read more

Service is good but drink is not. I ordered Okinawa roasted milk tea with boba 25% sugar. The drink taste like 100% sugar level. There is not much tea flavor. Boba is hard and not chewy. We love the new opening happy lemon. Very friendly, bright and clean store. Our kids requested additional orders on the crispy waffles. The fresh lemon black tea had a nice tangy kick to it. We also tried the regular milk tea with boba and it was very good. Highly recommended!! read more

Came across this franchise place on my way home from work. Service is great. Staff was super friendly and quick to explain and help with questions I have regarding their drinks. I wanted to try this spot because they offered the egg waffles in different flavors like Oreos, Matcha and Boba. I would really recommend you eat the egg waffles there while it's fresh because if you take it to go and wait after 15 minutes, the heat ends up making it soggy. It is a tiny place with a really bad parking lot so beware you might have to park else where and walk to the store. read more

boba is good, definitely get boba with ur milk teas idk bout teas or fruit teas. i usually get the d13 which is milk tea and w boba it's good, on the sweet side bc it has brown sugar on the sides so prolly 50-75% sugar. customer service is good, precise and nice, patient. read more

I was very disappointed with my order. First of all, they need better quality control. I had ordered lemon green tea two times with 25% sugar. The 1st time, it was way too sweet. The 2nd time, it was a little sour. Taste was not consistent. Secondly, their staff needs more training and needs to learn to listen carefully to customers' instructions. I specifically asked for NO ICE, but the girl gave me a cup that was more than 3/4 full of ice. Took only 4-5 sips, and my cup was already done. Also, I placed an order over the phone before I came to pick it up. The girl that answered the phone didn't get my name or number. When I arrived to pick up my order, I found out that the girl did not enter my order into the computer. Had to repeat myself again and then had to wait another 20 minutes for them to fumble around with my order. Wasn't even that many people when I got there. And in the end, they still messed up my order. Hope they can make some improvements read more
