I am very disappointed with your service attitude. I placed order at the afternoon with the puff cream milk tea. They didn't seal the lid well when they gave me the milk tea. So milk tea was spilled on my clothes. I went to ask them to re-seal the lid for me. I stood there for five minutes and no one paid any attention to me. Two girls glanced at me but didn't say anything yet. A girl came over and asked me what happened. I said that the cup was not sealed. She didn't say anything, nor did she give me a tissue to wipe my clothes. After sealing it for me, there was no apology, and she gave me a glaring look. It feels like I have offended them. So excited this location finally opened! We waited in line for about 30 minutes, but that was expected due to the grand opening BOGO deal that was going on. All of the staff we encountered were SUPER efficient and friendly, despite the rush they were working with! I'm happy that the drinks and flavors are relatively consistent between the stores I've visited! I've been to the Tanforan store numerous times, Cupertino, and San Jose. I don't have to say that store/franchise tastes better than the other. Yes, this is the grand opening and they have a deal going on. It is a bit hectic and the wait was long, but I'm still a fan. I will be back to use up the points on my reboot card. I am hoping that they will bring some snacks to the store that I've seen at other locations. Happy Lemons have been popping up all over the Bay Area. Even though it is a chain, quality does vary between each location. This San Leandro location opened up like almost a year ago, and their quality, location, environment, all has been consistently 5 stars. Once you step in, there is ample space for kids to run around and admire the happy lemon wall art and take pictures with the happy lemon statue. The area is kept nice and clean, including the bathroom. There is one location in Berkeley that doesn't offer a bathroom because they say it needs "repairs," which has been like that for almost a year. They probably just don't want people using their bathrooms, so really appreciate this San Leandro location to have not only a bathroom, but a always clean one. There's also plenty of chairs for people to sit and lounge while drinking their lemony goodnesses. The staff are well trained, helpful, friendly, and actually make your orders pretty quick and consistent compared to a lot of other locations. They offer a big variety of salted cheese teas, lemon slushes, fruit teas, milk teas, and etc just like all the other Happy Lemon locations, but what sticks out to me for this location is a clean environment, spacious, consistent good staff, and a clean bathroom!! read more

im usually always satisfied with getting boba from happy lemon but i cant help but be irritated with this location. my boyfriend and i ordered two okinawa fresh milk w/ boba. both drinks were covered in syrup making our hands sticky. i was a little annoyed i had to wipe down my cup but i wasnt going to make a big deal. we walked away and started sipping our drinks and realized they also had no boba in it. i was getting more annoyed but as long as they fixed it, it wouldnt matter that much. when we told the employee about it, she looked at us funny then asked me and my bf to take our straws out of the cup. of course when we did, the drink dripped out of the straw onto our hands and the floor. if they were going to rip the lids off themselves then why did it matter if we had to take the straws out? it wouldve been more sanitary if they just made us new drinks. the biggest thing for me is that they didnt believe us or apologize for their mistake. hope they have better customer service for other people. read more

I got 25% sugar in my drink and it's still pretty sweet. I ordered the salted cheese on the side in a small cup so I can adjust the drink to my liking and also to enjoy later.
