I really wished I could live in San Francisco so I could get this juice everyday. I totally forgot her name that was working on the day that I went but she was super nice and informative of each and every question that I had. My favorite thing was the kicker ginger cayenne shot. I stumbled upon Happy Moose Juice when looking for juice places after finishing the master cleanse. It's more of a pop up location located in the Range Bar from Friday-Sunday. What a good idea, I wish more bars would have juiceries in the daytime, it seems like a good way to share space with keeping rent costs down. Happy Moose juice has delicious and diverse juices in glass bottles which always tastes so much better and you can sample some before buying which is good in case you might not like something. My favorites are the Jala-Piña Greens which is made from pineapple, spinach, kale, cucumber and jalapenos. I'd recommend it if you are into spicy foods. It has the perfect kick of spice and a nice consistency with the kale and spinach but not too bitter and a refreshing after finish with the sweetness of the pineapple and fresh crispness of the cucumber. I'd also recommend the Beet it which includes carrot, beet, green apple, celery, ginger, and lemon. I just wish this place was open more days of the week. read more

Juice: I tried both the coconut and the Golden Gate Bridge paint (tangerine juice, blood orange juice, orange). I ended up getting the shorty size of the Golden Gate Bridge paint because it was such a good sample. It tasted like tangerine juice X 100. So amazing, was a great way to start the day. Yelp lists an address to this company, which lead me to believe that they have a retail location when they in fact instead have a warehouse that I showed up to. Confused I called them to ask what was up, and they explained the situation. However, once on the phone they took my order and sent some people to the warehouse to service me the best they could under the circumstances, which lets me know they are serious about their business and their reputation. Well done. The juices taste excellent, super-fresh, professionally packaged so no sticky juice mess. I ordered the detox which was way (naturally) sweeter than I anticipated, not ideal for my strived for blood sugar level. And for my personal preference I don't drink ice-cold drinks and leaving the juices out until they hit the exact right temperature is hard to do, and leaving them out too long is not ideal from a taste or freshness perspective. I found that diluting them with 50/50 filtered boiling water worked well for my need, so I could sip them like a "juice broth". It leaves me with more to drink, and I drink slower over a longer period of time, and the blood sugar stays level. read more

I like that they're doing that. The lid was leaking a bit so when I was carrying, I had to make sure I was carrying it up right. It was hard when I had it in the water bottle spot of my backpack. Their "Refresh and So Clean, Clean" is the best watermelon juice ever:-) As its name implies, this juice is wonderfully refreshing and so very clean tasting. It only contains three ingredients: watermelon, cucumber and mint (with no added sugar), so this is as closest tasting as you can get to the real thing. Their juices are cold-pressed, 100% raw and organic. I am looking forward to trying their other juices and will remember to drop by earlier in the day the next time around, as during the time I stopped by (about an hour or so before they closed), I ended up purchasing the last bottle they had that day of the particular juice that I'd wanted to try out! Juices (large size) is 9 dollars in person and 10 online. They also charge a $2 bottle fee, but will be refunded when you return the bottles. Good way to ensure that everyone is recycling- reusing. I love the TROPICAL ROOTS (pineapple, carrot, ginger, tumeric)- you can definitely taste the carrot and tumeric, but the pineapple offsets it and gives it that sweet aftertaste. STRAWVERRY FIELDS (carrot, orange, strawberry, beet, ginger) is my favorite. It's a perfect combination of all the fruits and veggies, but the beets and strawberry components are the strongest. As for the greens, I also enjoy JALA-PINO GREENS, it tastes crisp, but the jalapenos gives it that spicy kick at the end of each sip. Passed through this sweet little juice bar last weekend and was pleasantly surprised! Talked to Ryan (I believe) and he informed us they had just opened up and seemed so stoked about his product and just life in general and why not! The juice was phenomenal! I had a Tropical Roots and my girlfriend got a Refresh and So Clean Clean; both were refreshing and sweet, the Refresh and So Clean Clean having a more light and summery taste while the Tropical Roots was flavorful with a bit of kick form the ginger. Bottles are recycled but we decided to keep ours for reuse at home (so far they've been used to hold homemade smoothies and some flowers.) The best way to sell sort of expensive novelty items is to give free samples! My friends and I tried HMJ for the first time this weekend at Presidio Picnic and I immediately fell in love--so so good! I've tried other juice places before (looking at you Pressed Juicery) and was like "ok, I'll keep my $10 thanks" but HMJ sells itself tbh. We sampled a few but when I tried Chard Knock Life, I knew that was the one. "Ok, take all my money, thanks" is what they should call it ;) Love the vibrant colors of the juices and cute bottles. Not cheap but I like the $2 credit upon return--makes it a pretty affordable once in a while treat going forward. Shot of healthiness to boost the immune system. I walked past Happy Moose on my way to brunch and couldn't wait to double back for some juice. Unfortunately Yelp said that the shop was only open to 3. How was that possible?? People want juice at all hours of the day. It wasn't until I stopped by the next day did I realize they were a pop up shop inside a restaurant. They do a great job converting the space into a juice bar. All of the juices are only stored at the restaurant and not actually pressed there. We were both feeling a little under the weather and the bartender (?) recommended a lemon shot. We chased the tart and spicy shooter with some grapefruit juice, and as weird as it is, I could've sworn I instantly got more energy. We weren't planning to be back during the weekend, so we opted out of the returnable bottle and got our final selection in a to-go cup. The juice itself is good, but I think the positives from the experience came from the service. She let us sample to our heart's desire and didn't pressure us to make a decision. We tried a Chard Greens juice and another juice with ginger, beets, and strawberries; I think it was called the Strawberry Fields. They were both delicious, so we decided to go even further.
