    Jala-Piña Greens and Beet It
    Joan W.

I stumbled upon Happy Moose Juice when looking for juice places after finishing the master cleanse. It's more of a pop up location located in the Range Bar from Friday-Sunday. What a good idea, I wish more bars would have juiceries in the daytime, it seems like a good way to share space with keeping rent costs down. Happy Moose juice has delicious and diverse juices in glass bottles which always tastes so much better and you can sample some before buying which is good in case you might not like something. My favorites are the Jala-Piña Greens which is made from pineapple, spinach, kale, cucumber and jalapenos. I'd recommend it if you are into spicy foods. It has the perfect kick of spice and a nice consistency with the kale and spinach but not too bitter and a refreshing after finish with the sweetness of the pineapple and fresh crispness of the cucumber. I'd also recommend the Beet it which includes carrot, beet, green apple, celery, ginger, and lemon. I just wish this place was open more days of the week.

Refreshing, delicious juice that'll make you a happy camper! Or, in this case a happy moose! This is a little pop-up inside Range Restaurant that serves cold pressed juice during the day. Juices are served in glass bottles, with small bottles at 8 oz and large bottles at 16 oz. There's a bottle deposit at $2, and you can bring the bottle back so it's a better deal for you each time! Servers are also great and offer samples! So, sample away and you'll definitely find something you like! If you're not into juice, they also offer almond milk options! I sampled both almond milk options- nice and creamy! They also do juice cleanses and shots. I've sampled a bunch of their items- and have ordered Strawberry Fields (carrot, orange, strawberry, ginger) and Tropical Roots (pineapple, carrots, ginger, turmeric) . Both tasted super fresh and were amazing after my ridiculously hot yoga session. This place would be perfect for dropping by after yoga class for a quick, refreshing pick-me-up! With the funny juice names, fresh juice, and awesome servers, I'll definitely be back!

Golden Gate Bridge paint. So delicious

I tried this juice when I went to the park presidio picnic. The line wasn't too long so I stuck around to try some samples, and I'm glad I did. Juice: I tried both the coconut and the Golden Gate Bridge paint (tangerine juice, blood orange juice, orange). I ended up getting the shorty size of the Golden Gate Bridge paint because it was such a good sample. It tasted like tangerine juice X 100. So amazing, was a great way to start the day. Service: The man at the stand was very friendly and offered to let me try whatever one I was interested in. I wasn't sure so he let me try two of the most popular ones, and they were both surely delicious. If I ever see this juice anywhere I will be sure to get some! So good :)

Artificial juice or fresh pressed juice (and a cute bottle) for a few dollars more? Happy Moose Juice was at Off the Grid Presidio and I had just ate something really salty and wanted a drink. Nothing really appealed to me until I found this booth. The guy behind the booth was super nice and pretty much let me try all the juices since I was indecisive of what I wanted. I got the strawberry fields and it was really refreshing. They are all really good though and you can taste all the ingredients listed. Overall, it was good, refreshing and healthy.

    I have a problem....

I have a wellness shot problem. It's getting serious. My cabinet at work is full of granola, daytime cold medicine, allergy medicine, snacks, AND LITTLE GLASS BOTTLES FROM HAPPY MOOSE. I haven't gotten TOO sick this winter *knocks on wood* but I have been fighting it really well. Each time I feel a cold starting to take over, I have a Feel Mo Betta shot from Happy Moose. It packs a whopping punch and really does kick that cold's arse before it can conquer me. I've tried similar wellness shots from other joints (Juice Shop, Project Juice) and theirs just don't taste as good. Happy Moose's combo of ginger, lemon, apple cider vinegar and cayenne has the perfect amount of kick. About to take one right now, and add to my collection of little glass bottles.

I was on my way to meet a friend for coffee when out of the blue, this guy in white popped out at me with a tray of little cups and a bottle of red juice. He told me that they just opened and offered me a sample of the red stuff. He said it had beets, carrots, strawberries, orange, and ginger. I think it was called Strawberry Fields. It was delightfully refreshing. I told him I'd be back with a friend to try their other juices. Welcome to the neighborhood Happy Moose!

I've been eyeing this place on Yelp for a while because it sounds delicious and it looks cute! I waned to come here on a Thursday but got busy and couldn't make the trip! But good thing I didn't because I noticed that they're only open Friday's-Sunday's. I'm also glad that I read that it was located inside of another location (Range Restaurant) or else I would have been lost and walked around everywhere. Came here on a rainy Friday. Glad I made the trip. I walked in and kind of already knew I wanted the strawberry fields. I got a sample of it and decided to get it. It had Carrot, Orange, Strawberries, Beets and Ginger. Everything tastes really fresh and by the ingredients, it just sounds healthy. I like the cute bottle that it comes in. You pay a deposit and get your deposit back if you bring the bottle back. I like that they're doing that. The lid was leaking a bit so when I was carrying, I had to make sure I was carrying it up right. It was hard when I had it in the water bottle spot of my backpack. Just had to make sure my backpack was upright too! I'd definitely love to come back and try out some of their other flavors :) the names of all the juices on the menu are really cute too!

refresh and so clean, clean (watermelon x cucumber x mint)

Random... Totally random on how my Fav and I discovered this spot. We walked past it doing a double take after leaving Craftsman and Wolves. We looked at each other after being stopped in our tracks and said, "Yes, let's do it!" At roughly $12 a bottle (for a large) it may seem steep for cold-pressed juice, but coming from SoCal, I feel like that's the norm now a days... Upon entering the juice joint, there's Ryan hanging out behind the counter of the bar. Super cool dude who offered us a whole range of samples. From the Tropical Roots (pineapple x carrots x ginger x turmeric) to Kale Earnhardt (kale x spinach x green apple x celery x lemon) to even the Jala-Pina Greens (pineapple x kale x spinach x cucumber x jalapeno). I ended up going for something super refreshing. The Refresh and So Clean, Clean is consisted of watermelon x cucumber x mint. I feel like I gave my soul some R&R time, hahaha. WORD OF ADVICE: Return the glass bottle after you're done for a $2 refund!! Every juice place should do something like this... Although, I did think about keeping the nifty glass bottle...

Fresh. Delicious. Tried them at their main place off of Valencia. Then saw their stand at Presidio (a food truck event) and just couldn't pass them up! Strawberry Fields is my favorite!

Chose this place based on the name. And bc they were open New Year's Day. Super chinchillaxed bar counter setup. They'd run out of three or four juices. Bunch of folks sampling; I was buying. Ginger Cayenne Shot - NYD gift Chard Knock Life - okay Chocolate Moose - unsweet 4x4 Barrel Latte - #challengeaccepted All prices included $2 per bottle deposit. Guess I'll be bringing these things back.

    Jacqueline C.

Like that they give their juices their own twist. No longer am I subjected to the same boring ol' flavors again and again. Yes this juice may seem a little pricey but then again you have to think about all the fruits and veggies it takes to make one juice alone! I must say I like Happy Moose Juice more than the Juice Shop only because the woman was so nice and helpful! She told me all about the juice selections and helped me make my decision in the end. I got the 8oz for $5 and it was 100% worth it. Another thing I love is that they sell their juices inside another restaurant that doesn't open until dinner time. I thought that was such a smart idea!

16 oz Strawberry Fields HMJ--delicious and very refreshing!

Nothing says, comfort like a Filipino meal of carby and meaty goodness. Julsilog is a new Filipino eatery operating out of a ghost kitchen inside a Bayview hub that I regularly order delivery from. Takeout and delivery only. ***Grand Opening Promo via UberEats: $8 off your order*** ($30 minimum order) Per 3rd party delivery app, Julsilog is open until midnight on the weekdays and until 2 am on weekends. Perfect for the late night drunchies! M E N U Silogs: Filipino breakfast plates with garlic rice and a fried egg. Protein options: Pork chop, fried chicken, embutido (meatloaf), tapa (calamansi cured beef), tocino (cured sweet pork), spam, and Impossible burger. They also have lumpia shanghai, wings, fries, ube shake, and buko pandan dessert. Everything is under $12 so very wallet-friendly. I ordered via UberEats and my order took about an hour to be delivered. It arrived warm and properly sealed to prevent tampering. Each item was packed in a compostable container (except dessert) and labeled...including the sauces. Utensils were fully wrapped. I appreciate the attention to details. F O O D * Lumpia Shanghai (6 pc - $6) Can we take a moment to appreciate the presentation? Most lumpia shanghai are just thrown in a brown paper bag. You can't go wrong with this Filipino staple. The wrapper got a bit limp in transit but that's what a toaster oven/air-fryer/pan is for. * Tocilog: Sweet cured pork w/ garlic rice, egg, tomato-cucumber salad The tocino was rich, juicy, and moist with sweet-smoky caramelized edges. Not chewy or overly sweet like some tocino can be. GET THIS! Despite delivery, liquid gold flowed out and all over the rice when cutting into the fried egg. The garlic rice was ok...def needs more garlic because it tasted more like plain white rice to me. * Embosilog: Beef Meatloaf w/ garlic rice, egg, and cucumber tomato salad ($12.25) The embutido was delicious and stuffed with Filipino hot dog (pork) and boiled egg. For the silog, you get a choice of 2 sauces: banana ketchup, all purpose sauce (mang tomas), and/or garlic vinegar. I liked the garlic vinegar w/ red onions the best to balance all the savory richness. * Buko Pandan w/ coconut, pandan, sweet cream, jelly ($5) Nice sweet ending to a delicious meal. Lots of soft and chewy jelly and coconut. For those sensitive to MSG, I was quite thirsty afterwards so fair warning. Ghost kitchens can be a hit or miss so I was really impressed with Julsilog. Not only was the food delicious with generous portions, it was a great value and thoughtfully packed. If you're craving some Filipino comfort food, give this new business a try!
