What can I say except I really like this place. I think the only thing that can make this better is if they can make me some Keto fried chicken. Hint hint ;) These days I have been so good at making my own omelettes, bacon and lots of salads. I luv it but I need some variety, so the creamy Alfredo shrimp zoodle bowls are just perfect for a little change while I keep my carbs intake low. Portions are good. Don't ever order delivery from this place unless 2 hours is an acceptable time for you to wait. My food arrived really late due to the restaurant being late. Food was cold, soggy and dry. Never thought those two would ever go hand and hand. It took 32 min to get a driver and then I watched my driver get called to pick up my order and then proceed to sit in front of Keto Bake & Bowl for 52 minutes. As someone on a Keto diet I appreciate that there are businesses that are trying to fill a void but if you are going to charge $20+ for a burger smaller than one from In & Out at least try to get your shit together. A dry ass bun is not worth $18 and 2 hours of wait time. Granted Uber failed as well because it took 25 min to get to me and by the time I sat down to eat I was already pissed. I just saw these guys launched a full-on zoodles menu. I'm always skeptical when a chef replaces my favorite thing in the world (pasta), for something that fits a more keto diet, a carb-less vegetable. Figured I'd give it shot since the pics looked good. I had the Keto Zoodle Cobb Salad. It was... AWESOME! The zoodles were actually crisp, fresh, and the perfect base for this hearty salad. They did not skimp on the goodness- the perfectly cooked egg, bacon, and avocado; and the dressing really hit the spot. Most Cobbs have a creamy/mayo dressing like a ranch, or buttermilk. This was a more rich, sweet, and healthier vinaigrette. This is another one of the hidden gems in that cloud kitchen in SoMa. I ordered for pickup from UberEats. I entered the lobby, checked in on a tablet, and my food magically appeared in a locker. The staff was friendly and helpful. I picked mine up at their cafe and they were extremely moist, in fact they were more like cookie dough. And who doesn't love cookie dough? If you don't like these, there's something wrong with you. They were a huge hit at my wedding shower and they kept me from overindulging in things I shouldn't be eating. No one else at the party was on a keto diet but me and they loved these things. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but overall, the food was terrible. I was very interested in their keto sweets, because I have ordered from Butter N' Nut Keto Bakery, which is fantastic, but also a hassle because you have to pre-order in a very short window. One star for trying, a second star because the cupcake frosting was good. Other than that, just no. The "keto bun" on the burger was excessively dry and burnt. I do not like cooking or baking, but was able to make a better tasting bun from a keto cookbook my brother got me for Christmas. The hamburger wasn't anything to write home about either, but nothing was worse than that bun. If you cannot do a good job of a keto bun, I think the better idea is to simply try another carb substitute or just exclusively have the lettuce burger. The main reason I had ordered from this place was the keto desserts, which were just, in one word, awful. I'm not even saying awful for the price, but awful. The cupcakes were so very dry, it was like a cupcracker. And the taste wasn't good either. I'd have rather taken a couple extra net carbs for something that was at least palatable. These cupcakes were just so bad and I ordered the red velvet and the carrot. Both were just horrible. There has to be better recipes in a keto cookbook somewhere. We put a man and a woman on the moon, surely a keto cupcake doesn't have to be this disgusting. The "brownie" was just a slightly less dry chocolate cupcake in a cupcake foil. The brownies/cupcakes were small and I believe retailed at about $7-8 and the burger was $20. Had I not had delicious cupcakes, donuts, cookies and brownies from Butter n' Nut Keto Bakery, I may have just accepted that keto sweets are all disgusting and as barely edible as these were. But I know better, I know that there is someone making far superior sweets for at least the same price and maybe less (but a lot more hassle).
