Talked to the waitress and apprently they got a NEW OWNER. Food was much better than last time. Would come back again and try other things that they improved.

Easy online ordering via Heartland app or website. Nice selection of dishes to choose from. Food is tasty & plentiful. Chow mein was different than what I'm used to but had lots of meat. Curbside pickup easy & quick.

This was a surprise! it was Christmas eve and the wife and I were shopping and wanted a quick bite. My wife said some do Chinese take out as a tradition on Christmas eve. I scoffed at this... Boy was I wrong... We were able to get seated, as it was filling fast. We were in the front and could see the stacks of bags filled with orders and a steady line coming in! our food was out fast, and was delicious! the hot and sour was perfection. by the way, there were at least 100 people in and out for orders in our short time there!

I have been a fan of the sesame beef for over 20 years now. I won't eat Chinese food anywhere else.

We ordered the Shanghai street noodles and the noodles smelled rotten. One of the worst Chinese food I ever had!

This is a fourth-rate pseudo Chinese-style restaurant. Do not expect good or authentic Chinese cooking here.

Good Chinese food and helpful waitstaff. The booth seats could be a bit roomier though.

We came early on a Wednesday night and were the only ones here. What was good and bad? First let me say, we asked for help with ordering. The server couldn't understand why I was confused. I said I wanted the braised pork wide flat noodle and showed him the photo on Yelp. He told me to select stir-fry, then spicy pork flat noodle. I explained I didn't want spicy, he said it's not spicy then pushed the "less spicy" option. When the dish arrived, you could see the red peppers and it definitely was spicy! It was tasty but very spicy! My husband got the Mongolian beef which he said was good - he selected "no spicy". The only downside was it does not come with rice. Just Mongolian beef and lots of onions. We also ordered the bbq bao - do not order this - the dough was really "off" in both texture and flavor. I literally spit it out as did my husband. We'd come back but we'd be better prepared to order and we'd be way more cautious with what we order.

Typically at most Chinese restaurants, especially fried dishes, you'll see a pool of oil at the bottom of the dish. This is not the case here, and their sauces also keep their oil usage to the minimum. The food doesn't feel as heavy, and they nail most of their Szechuan flavors well. Their service is always fast and friendly. There is a gentleman in glasses that is always happy to serve and answer your questions. He is always happy to pack your food for you to go if you have leftovers as well, which is a lovely gesture. They have very cute decorations inside, from lucky cats with fortune cookies in their mouths, or a painted wall with a Panda cooking delicious food. I'd steer clear from their soup dishes, most of them lack flavor. I highly recommend their Chopped Pepper Fish and their Jade Tofu items though. Very flavorful and not very heavy! Plenty of parking is available which is lovely for eating in Portland, do not let this spot be missed if you've never tried it!

There are booths where you order food to come cooked, and then the hot pot tables where you order the ingredients and cook them yourself. It's very interactive, and they have plenty of meats, vegetables, tofu, dumplings and noodles. You can choose the broth you want at the beginning and they'll bring out the pot. Each pot is split in 2, so you order one regular broth and then a spicy broth. They also have a veggie broth, which I really enjoy. You can grab things from the salad bar, and they have different sauces/oils you can take and add to your soup. You're able to really customize the experience. It's a fun little experiment you get to do with your friends and family. The space itself is busy with customers walking around and staff brining drinks and food, but it's not crazy. We joke that the steam from the soup is a nice facial treatment. Lol. You can end the night with an ice cream cone and lollipop in the waiting room. I've been a few times, and I will say the first time is overwhelming with trying to figure out what to do, but after that you get more confident and interested in curating a soup that's to your taste.

Even though there were plenty of larger tables available, we were told we had to squeeze into a small dirty booth. The pink/red-haired male employee and the girl with glasses who seated us were rude as hell and acted like we were an inconvenience instead of paying customers. Their attitude alone made us decide to leave without ordering. We've enjoyed coming here for a long time, but this experience changed our minds. Management really needs to address the customer service from those two employees before more loyal customers walk out like we did.
