    After grooming

Met this wonderful people at the Halloween trick or treat for dogs in Fontana. Kuma has had a groomer from when he was a puppy who we lost contact with. When we attempted to take him to a different groomer they had suggested I give him a sedative in order to be groomed again. I had tried the sedative but it made him more anxious. So after picking him up today from Happy Tails, I was very happy to know they were able to work with him.

If I could rate this place 0 starts, I would but unfortunately I have to put a star in order to post my review. My Mom dropped her dog off and 2 hours later received a call stating that she was ready to be picked up and needed to be rushed to the vet due to being cut under her arm. When my Mom arrived, they stated she still had to pay for service even though they harmed her dog. That wasn't fair at all, then had the audacity to tell her not to go to a certain vet because they're expensive. My Mom went to her usual VET and they still had to take care of the bill. If you love your dogs & care for them, you will not drop your dogs off here. This is unfair, she's going through pain she doesn't deserve. Y'all need to be shut down, y'all ain't right. No sympathy for the situation at all. God ain't no joke.

Visited for the first time about a week ago and my dog loved it. She's can be a little high energy and doesn't like her paws touched but Happy Tails did great with her. Already recommended family and friends. Love that you can also book online. Will be coming back for sure : )

Here is there text message request. Where they request zelle or cash only. Before COVID they accepted credit cards.

Updated Review: I am saddened to update this review, I have been a customer for the past four years bringing all 5 of my dogs here. I know happy tails has change ownership and with that come changes. The changes are ridiculous. I have been here for so long. Out of nowhere there prices change. My dog Luna is a medium size maltipoo. I have always paid 60 dollars for her and give a 10 dollar tip. Now today I drop Luna off I get a call from a woman that does not introduce herself, just call to tell me it will be 85 for Luna in addition 30 dollars for mating 20 dollars more because she saw ticks and in addition they are gonna charge me more to apply flea and tick shampoo. So the total now is 150 dollars. In addition the people that have groom my dog are no longer there and they keep having a high overturn in staff. Apparently the person that took over this business is money hungry and cannot run there business properly if they have a high rate of employees quitting and not showing up. In addition they only want cash or zelle now. They no longer want credit card payments. No wonder they have so much of availability people are leaving and going elsewhere. Just be ware if you go here there website where you make an appointment is one price then they call you and give you a second price one your pet is drop off.

I called and scheduled for two of my dogs to get groomed within the next week. My appt was suppose to be at 9a and I overslept and didn't get them there till 1030. Danielle pushed my appt back and still got my dogs in to get finished. Both were done within 3-4 hours and looked great with a much needed haircut. Thanks to Danille for your help and professionalism! I'll will definitely be bringing them back!

Ask the Community - Happy Tails Pet Spa

    Do y'all groom cats?

    Yes

How well are you with cutting nails? We have a lab who doesn't like his nails cut but desperately needs his nails trim. And how much do you charge?

We will at least try but if he absolutely will not allow it then we will not force him. At that point it is best to take him to a vet to get them trimmed. If he allows us to trim his nails, big dogs are $8 to trim their nails.

Hello You guys take debit/credit correct?

Yes, as long as it has a credit logo, our machine will run as credit.

We've been going to that other "smart" store for over five years to have our dog's nails trimmed…read more Ever since, they've told us that we can just walk in and they will do the trim. The most we've ever had to wait is about 15 to 20 minutes. Today, was no different, walked in at 10:15a, let them know that we needed a nail trim, the associate said that the earliest they can get us in was not till 12 PM without an appointment. An appointment? I explained to them that in the five years we've been going to them for nail grinds (which is pretty frequent) we've never had to make an appointment. That's when she said that making appointment has always been in place. So, I walked out, came over to The Good Dog. The General Manager greeted us, even while working with another customer. Listening how he handled the other two customers in front of us (who appeared to be regulars) set the tone that this is a friendly place that we want to be a part of. You know, it's like "Cheers," you wanna go where everyone knows your name! Well, they were able to get us in right away. They advised we typically do not need to make an appointment for nail grind, but to simply call up to make sure they are not busy at the moment, otherwise can get in quickly. I think that's reasonable, fair enough AND smart! "Thanks, Good Dog!"

They offered medical wipes for my dog's injury and a complete re-grooming with a different groomer. I chose not to continue patronage, but the offer and continued open communication was very appreciated. Original Review: This is the first time I've been to this location and decided to go here due to the large number of good reviews. They were able to fit my appointment in very last minute, less than 24hrs notice, super friendly staff, and lots of merchandise. Also great cut options avaliable for someone new, trying to figure out what a new groomer can do with a new client. Asked them to brush his teeth and grind his nails, to which they accomplished (at least his breath smells better). With that said, I was told they would contact me 20 minutes before he's ready for pickup, they did not. They messaged me when he was done. No big deal. When I picked him up, immediately noticed the uneven cut job. As we're driving home, noticed A BUNCH of dirt left in his coat. Makes me question if they bathed him, and if they did, they didnt do a good thorough job. Also started to notice the uneven cut throughout his body, from his stomach where they left bunches of fur, to his back, which seemed as though they used two sizes for razors. They cut him (most likely by accident) but just reinforces my suspicion that they rushed through his entire "grooming". For the $100 package, counting $15 for dental/nail grinding, I can't say I'm not disappointed. Unfortunately, will not be coming back. Sincerely disappointed :( I will have to bathe him again, give him a complete haircut, and finish areas they didnt even attempt too, such as the hair under his nose going into his mouth.
