Very flavorful dinner at the hotel. My favorite was the grilled cheese with soup. Cobb salad was good, but maybe I should've gone with the chicken instead of the steak. The steak was a bit salty for my taste. My family really enjoyed all the dishes.

When reading the reviews from other Yelpers, it appears the Harbor Bar & Bistro restaurant that this is located in used to be the Crowne Plaza Hotel, but it is now Sonesta. It's located right across the lobby and the main entrance from the parking valet. My husband and I decided to kill some time here before attending a wedding. We ordered a beer for him and a mojito for me. The bartender/server working that day was super friendly and attentive. He even asked us if we wanted any snacks to munch on while we drank and he brought out a glass cup filled with Gardetto's. We eventually ordered an appetizer of pita bread and hummus and I thought it was pretty good. It was fresh and it also came with carrots and celery to dip in the hummus. Overall, it was a good experience.

Wonderful togo experience here couple nights ago! Rick the server was very nice and the food was juicy and delicious. Evacuated from home and staying at the Crowne Plaza hotel which this restaurant is in and was looking for an easy option to feed me and my toddler. This is during the wildfire+pandemic time, so eating outside was too smoky, and dining in was not available, making pick up the only option. Comparing options with nearby places that are still operating like Cheesecake Factory, it wasn't more expensive or anything so we gave it a shot, despite lack of recent reviews. The restaurant is open format with lots of variety of seatings inside and outside so social distancing was not a problem while waiting. They seem to be offering to go and patio dining as of 9/2020. I took a bite into the potato and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. Proceeded to taste everything else and all was impressively juicy, buttery, and done just right. My picky toddler ate almost all of the salmon and I was happy. It's so hard to find good food he would accept all day away from home... The quesadilla was crispy and full of flavor as well, and had a little kick to it. My baby seemed to enjoy this one too! Another night of survival out in the pandemic world - a success, thanks to the small staff at Harbor restaurant.

It is the bar inside of the crown plaza hotel. The bar validates parking for up to 3hrs. Similar for valet I think....

The staff were nice and attentive. My wife had about 5 margaritas because of how good they were. She stated that they made the margaritas tasty and well balanced. I had a Michelob Ultra and was happy it was marked up, it was $6 compared to $14 at Universal Studios. My wife ordered the sweet chili wings and she said they were really good compared to some of the wings she had at other places. My bestfriend, daughter, and I had the smash burgers and OMG were they good! They werent all crispy and burnt like other places ive been too. They were juicy and well seasoned. They were so good that I ordered a second one with a draft Pacifico. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. The prices are very reasonable, the food is beyond delicious and possibly the most delicious food you will find on the pier. The interior is a bit small so be sure to show up in the afternoon to grab a spot if you are planning on staying into the night. Around the night time they have live music! That came as a surprise to us.

This is obviously a local favorite with a wonderful location right in the middle of the boardwalk. I sat having a mai tai watching the glass bottom boat load up with tourists. It was a fantastic experience. Service was quick and friendly the whole place was being run expertly by a single bartender. She was great. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay local, people watch, and enjoy the boardwalk.

Waiters kept checking on us. Got the mild Buffalo Wings for $14 and Parmesan Fries for $6. The wings were good. The Parmesan Fries were really good, they didn't skimped on the Parmesan. Both dishes were small and came with ranch sauce. Got place to watch the games with friends. Not the place to have a conversation. The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.

I feel like I can write a manuscript describing all the things I like about this place, but no one would bother reading that except maybe my wife so I'm going to try to keep this one relatively short. During my visit, I ordered the Connecticut Style Double Stuffed Roll with a mixture of fries and tater tots. The lobster meat was fresh and nicely flavored with Old Bay seasoning while the split roll was buttery and perfectly crunchy. I seriously can't imagine a lobster roll tasting any better. Not to be out done, the service here was outstanding. The two gentleman who were working at the counter were extremely friendly and helpful. This being the first time at this establishment, I had a bunch of annoying questions. These guys were unfazed and answered my questions very nicely. A few additional notes about this place: -You order and pay up front. It's a beautiful thing to be able to leave whenever you're done eating. -There is plenty of parking in the back of the establishment. -The fountain drink machine is self serve. It's well maintained and fine tuned. No joke, the Coke here is near McDonalds level. If you're in the Redondo Beach neighborhood, I strongly recommend giving this place a try. If you're into lobster rolls, you won't be disappointed.

Fries were another 6 for hardly any. Kind of prohibitive pricing for casual drop ins. Especially if you order a beer. I know it's South Bay, but bummer. Atmosphere: walls covered in punk records, music gear, and skate decks. Rad! Except.... the pumping music was straight out of "songs covered by Glee." WTF. Excruciating. Like being in a crappy clothing store in a mall. Booooo. Dining in can't both be expensive and a challenge of endurance. Awful. Incoherent. Service: bartender/manager (he said he was manager to a woman he was flirting with, so I'll assume he was) told me the decoration was just decoration. Ok. Weird. Verdict: pass. Not worth $$ or dealing with the vibe. Footnote: bartender guy wore an earbud -- owners should kaibosh that nonsense.
