I wasn't sure what to order this being my first time but after seeing Eggs Benedict with perfect-looking poached eggs arriving to nearby diners, I got my first Crab Eggs Benedict. Whoa! Amazing, with 2 crab cakes all meat! The eggs should have been poached eggs perhaps another 30 seconds but I'd rather have them under than overcooked. Get their Breakfast Potatoes which comes with most brunch dishes - big pieces, crisp on the outside, plenty of onions and also red peppers. Fantastic meal choice for a birthday brunch. My friends likewise enjoyed their Fish tacos Salmon Eggs Benedict and Chicken Breast Sandwich Prices are all reasonable. They have a lot of good specials during the week and would you believe, Free steak and lobster on your actual birthday!? I plan on finding out how much on my birthday. Popped in for a light dinner and left pretty disappointed--the food is simply too average for the price point, and the service was on the slower side to boot. We started with the calamari and shrimp; while the shrimp tasted fresh, the calamari was thin, chewy, and tasted very old. Next came the crab cakes, which were tiny and completely unremarkable. We honestly debated leaving to eat elsewhere halfway through, but decided to stick it out. The last item we ordered was the battered rockfish tacos, served with chips (though strangely, no salsa). Just had a great time for my wife's birthday. Everyone wished her a happy birthday and she partook of the free steak and lobster brithday deal. The steak was very melting your mouth. This is a pretty restaurant! We did a walk-in for 7 of us and they were able to accommodate for a Friday evening, but recommendations is definitely recommended as I think we just got lucky. They have complimentary bread service but you have to ask for it. The service is really professional. We had clam-chowder for the table, and even though it is called "baby" in the menu, it is enough to serve 2 people easily! It is one of the best clam chowders I have had. Not fishy, great ingredients, and tasty seasonings. I ordered the bone-in ribeye as well and it was cooked perfectly to my liking, good size, seasoned well and delicious. Another amazing time at HT Grill. Stopped in for lunch with a friend. We opted for the patio seating, always a nice vibe whether it's evening or day. The patio has heaters, umbrella shade and a fire pit. Our waiter was friendly as always and attentive. We both ordered salads, I ventured off my usual of the HT Wedge with grilled shrimp added, and went with the Beet the Burrata for the first time, and I think I've got a new favorite! Even though we were last-minute walk-ins and couldn't snag an outdoor table, they easily sat us in a cozy booth back by the bar area. We totally stumbled into luck because we arrived just 15 minutes before Happy Hour ended (it runs M-F, 3 PM - 7 PM). Shout out to our waitress, Anna R.! Look out for her; she is petite with long black hair. She took our 6:55 PM order in stride with amazing energy without missing a beat. You never feel judged for ordering economically right before the cutoff, which is the ultimate sign of great service. I don't just give out shout-outs willy-nilly, but she deserves it! They start your table with a large breadstick basket (which I always forget about, but love). Birria Tacos: Man, we loved these. The meat was incredibly moist. Highly recommend! The restaurant goes out of its way to make an actual birthdays really special. I brought along my ID expecting having to prove my birthday but the waiter took my word for it. I started with the house salad which was pretty large for the price. Their house dressing is really good and got the meal off to a good start. My main course was the Surf and Turf. I honestly thought it was Surf "OR" Turf and was pleased to know both were included. The lobster was large and cooked perfectly. It was removed from the shell before broiling and not only looked seriously appetizing but also tasted great. It was tender and served at the right temperature. The filet steak was medium rare, just as I ordered. It was as tender and flavorful as similar steaks at high end restaurants. It didn't need any seasoning as its rich flavors were downright mouth watering great. My guest enjoyed the Beef Birria Tacos filed with braised short ribs. It was the first time he tried this dish and he really loved it. And it was presented really well and looked great. This was an excellent experience. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly. Unfortunately the valet's service is not professional to say the least. Last Saturday Aug 8th I had a 1:30PM reservation for my birthday party but I couldn't get in the restaurant because the valet was extremely rude. He even threatened to call the towing service. He smelled like alcohol and looked he was under the influence. I was so scared that I decided to cancel my reservation and left to celebrate my birthday party in another restaurant. We went for their Monday night chef special prix fixe dinner which is an INSANE deal at $29 per person. You get an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Each week they have a different menu, so it's also like a fun weekly surprise. Our appetizer was a delicious tuna crudo with blood oranges. Incredibly refreshing, such a summery dish. Our entree was seabass in a savory, creamy sauce. The fish was cooked to perfection. We finished the meal with a sweet, but light banana cream pudding. Loved the sliced banana with vanilla pudding and wafers. The food at HT Grill is simple, but delicious. What really stood out to me was the exceptional service. The lobster & steak was good along with being cooked right. Even the veggies were tasty. The service was really good too. Our waitress was friendly & attentive to our needs. The lobster and the accompanying sides were delicious, the beef felt a little tough for me. S got their short rib and enjoyed that too but we both agreed that the lobster was the star. I made reservations easily on OpenTable. We sat on the outdoor patio since it was a nice day but beware of the skeeters! Service was friendly and I appreciated that it was pretty low key (as in, the staff doesn't come around to sing happy birthday or anything to make it a spectacle).
