I visited Harbor Chevy today because they had the exact car (color/trim) I wanted to buy my wife. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I linked up with Aric (yes with an "A") and he was right on track with getting me in and out in about 2 hours.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Andrew handled the finance end of it and all in all my experience was the best I've had at a dealership. Everyone has choices but if you're on the hunt for a Chevy, I'd recommend giving Aric a shot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Thank you guys for taking care of me![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We went to buy a truck recently and our experience was nothing but excellent and amazing especially while it was raining.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]we were taken care of by Cornelius and he gave us the best customer service ever!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not only was he helping us navigate the truck in the rain but he was clear and consise with the financing and available deals.. [[HIGHLIGHT]]he made it very easy to buy our son his first truck and we can't thank him enough for his time and expertise.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My son had a good monthly payment and I appreciate all the time given to my family to make this purchase. Everyone needs to come here for their next car or truck!

Came here recently to purchase my daughter's first car. The service we got was excellent. The price was fair, and great negotiation. Total time for purchasing the car was a bit long, but I expected it. I really liked the fact that they took the time to show me a ton of cars and explained everything we needed to know. As well as we got some extra thrown in. Extra warranty what?! The finance guy was great. Although, I know I got to him a bit as ya know, (dad questions) and me reading through everything. lol If you need a simple car look to these guys and see what they have for you.

I wanted to give Harbor Chevrolet in Long Beach another chance. I had been there back in August for service (where they actually put a huge dent in my vehicle and never made it right), but the people I met then were friendly enough that I thought maybe sales would be different. I was wrong. Completely wrong. Today was a totally different story. New people, new clientele, and an entirely unfavorable, dishonest experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Jaycob (who introduced himself as the sales manager) and Manny used every shady, high-pressure tactic in the book. They told me another buyer was literally there ready to take the vehicle and that I had to decide right then or lose it forever. Classic fake urgency.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I finally asked for straightforward numbers, Jaycob became condescending, dismissive, and outright rude.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They refused to negotiate at all -- even though my wife and I have credit scores from 738 to 800 and almost $15,000 ready for a down payment. Instead of working with qualified buyers, they just want to scalp you with outrageous pricing and crush you into whatever they feel like charging. Worst part: after I walked away, they claimed they had already "run my credit." That is a flat-out lie. They never had my permission, never asked for my full Social Security number, and I never signed anything authorizing a hard inquiry. Straight-up dishonesty from Jaycob and the team. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The managers I spoke to afterward had no idea what actually happened -- they weren't even sure who I had dealt with. Zero accountability.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's clear the culture there has completely changed for the worse. Friendly staff from a few months ago? Gone. Replaced with pushy, condescending liars who will say anything to pressure you and then make up stories afterward.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Whatever goodwill this dealership had is gone. Between the service department damaging my last vehicle, and now Jaycob and his team lying to my face, using fake scarcity tactics, refusing to negotiate with strong-credit buyers, and falsely claiming they pulled credit -- this place is toxic. Stay far away. Shop literally anywhere else. I regret ever walking back in.

I recently had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at this location, and I feel it's important for others to be aware of the pattern of behavior I encountered. From the start, several members of the sales and management team--particularly the older gentleman who appeared to be leading the others--demonstrated dishonesty and a complete lack of professionalism. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was given three different stories after negotiating a deal over the phone with another manager.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Despite clearly explaining the agreement I had already made, the older salesman insisted the deal "wasn't possible" and quoted a monthly payment comparable to the cost of a small apartment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After pushing back and once again referencing the prior conversation with management, he eventually returned, shook my hand, apologized for the miscommunication, and told me the car was being washed and prepared for pickup.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Then he simply disappeared. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I waited two hours with no update, only to be told--without explanation--that the deal was suddenly off the table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This level of inconsistency and lack of communication is unacceptable for any professional business, especially one handling large financial transactions.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had decided to walk away from this dealership altogether, but two days later I received a call from the same manager asking what happened and assuring me that I would receive the original deal if I returned. The only reason I gave the dealership another chance was because the female manager--the only one who demonstrated honesty, respect, and genuine effort throughout this ordeal--took ownership of the situation. Thanks to her, I finally received the deal I had been promised from the beginning. Based on my experience, I strongly caution others: the male sales and management staff at this location repeatedly gave misleading information, failed to communicate, and appeared more interested in an easy sale than in treating customers with integrity. My trust was violated multiple times, and the entire experience was far more stressful and upsetting than it should ever be when purchasing a vehicle. While I am ultimately satisfied with the vehicle I purchased, that satisfaction is due entirely to the one manager who acted with professionalism. I cannot say the same for the rest of the team.

1 Star for Service / 5 Stars for Sales (Jaycob Gomez) With all the DCT problems with the C8 see picture below and my breakdown I purchased my C8 Corvette on March 8th and had an amazing buying experience thanks to Jaycob Gomez -- he deserves 5 stars. Super professional, helpful, and made everything smooth. But the service department? Complete disappointment. I had an appointment scheduled for Monday, and I wouldn't have bothered going if there wasn't a real problem. Instead of actually listening and helping, they talked to me like I was clueless -- super dismissive. The technician's explanation and the service advisor Viktor was the worst part. I highly doubt the test was conducted on Heavy traffic stop and go It felt like they were just making excuses and not taking my concern seriously at all. I left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and completely let down. Buying experience: excellent. Service experience: awful. Definitely not what you expect after spending this much money on a car. there are a few concerning issues with the tech's response 1. The tech is suggesting driving technique is causing the issue by claiming you're "dragging the brake" in traffic. This is a common deflection tactic when they can't diagnose a problem. 2. The statement "vehicle not equipped with automatic transmission has dual clutch transmission" is misleading. The DCT is technically an automatic transmission (you don't manually shift with a clutch pedal), just a specific type. 3. The "could not duplicate concern" after only 18 miles of testing is inadequate, especially since DCT issues often appear intermittently or in specific conditions (like the stop-and-go traffic you mentioned) again HEAVY TRAFFIC not hauling ass at the back roads and light traffic 4. im casuing excessive heat to the dual clutch. What this means: The dealership is essentially blaming my driving technique rather than acknowledging a potential mechanical issue. how should you drive in a HEAVY TRAFFIC SITUATION STOP AND GO ? should i just step on the brakes wait like 5 car length to go ? You guys ever driven or live in LA ? sounds really dumb The "must fully release brake pedal from a stop" advice is reasonable for DCT operation, but significant shuddering is NOT normal behavior for a properly functioning C8 transmission, regardless of driving technique

Because this is the person you don't want to deal with

Matt, the service manager gave me a call and handled the situation I had with the service advisor. He was very kind, caring, compassionate, very helpful and took care of the issue that I had and I will come back there again.

Receipt left in car. They used our car to go grab companies lunch. So unprofessional.

My friend and I recently had the most terrible experience here, as Chevy Volt owners, beware! The person who we are addressing this to is Garth Passantino and if you look at other reviews too you will see his name brought up a lot. I went in to repair a warranty issue for my 2017 Chevrolet Volt, and while they did perform the necessary work under warranty, they insisted on charging a diagnostic fee. The reason given was that a code had popped up due to low coolant. However, when I went to pick up the car, I discovered that no such code had actually appeared, and they couldn't even provide proof of the coolant code they claimed was the issue. When I questioned why I was being charged the diagnostic fee if the code wasn't even there, the service rep got visibly upset and unprofessional. He said "we already discussed this", but his explanation didn't hold up since he couldn't show me any proof of the supposed code. Instead of addressing my concerns, he said "I don't want to talk about it anymore. I'm mad that you're not going to pay." This response was shockingly unprofessional and further solidified my frustration with their service. When my dad questioned why he couldn't just top off the coolant himself, the rep said that it could not be done. He claimed the coolant was different, which was not true according to the car manual. When we pointed this out, he just kept saying we were wrong and refused to provide the correct information. He even said "I hope that the liquid is wrong so that the light comes back on and you have to come back". So unbelievable that a grown man was throwing a tantrum over me not wanting to pay for work that is completely covered under the Volts PZEV warranty. To make matters worse, when I got into my car, I found a receipt for In-N-Out that wasn't mine. The receipt was dated on the same day I dropped off my car, 4 hours after my appointment time, and it showed an order for about eight meals. This means they used my car to grab their lunch during my appointment, which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. The lack of transparency, poor communication, misuse of my vehicle, and overall unprofessional conduct made this an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I expected much better service and accountability from a dealership. I would not recommend this location.

This is a picture of the driver's side strut that broke.

When I arrived, however, I was told it would be at least another hour. Apparently, the text had been sent by an AI and not by an actual employee. Around 5:50 PM, I watched an employee pull my car out of the service garage. Instead of bringing it to the customer pickup area like every other vehicle, they drove it around the block and parked it in a customer lot on the far side of the dealership. At 5:55PM, as the service department was closing, they finally handed me my keys. I asked why my car had been left so far away when every other customer's vehicle had been brought directly to the pickup area. They insisted this was completely normal. When I reached my car, I discovered that my windshield had been cracked. Unfortunately, the service department had already closed for the day. I returned the following morning to report the damage, but they immediately denied responsibility, insisted the crack must have happened somewhere else, and even implied that I was being dishonest. And they are offered to give me a quote price to replace then windshield they damaged. Total scumbags!! Friends and neighbors had told me to avoid Long Beach Honda for service because of its poor reputation. I wish I had listened before bringing my car there. Now

I haven't purchased a new vehicle in about six years, so I had quite a few concerns going into the process, but she made everything feel seamless and stress-free. What stood out most to me was that I had never owned -- or even seriously considered -- a Toyota before. I've always been loyal to Nissan, along with the unfortunate mistake of owning two Chevrolets. Felishea was patient, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable when presenting information about the vehicle. She took the time to answer my questions thoroughly and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality service and a genuinely positive car-buying experience. I'd also like to recognize Dewayne in Finance for going above and beyond to ensure I understood everything in front of me. She kept us updated throughout the process, and our car arrived right on schedule in March. Going into delivery day, I was honestly prepared for the typical dealership experience where you have to say no over and over to extended warranties and add-ons. Fortunately, that wasn't the case at all. The whole process was smooth, fast, and very respectful. Angel, the finance manager, was a pleasure to work with. He was efficient, professional, and didn't feel predatory or salesy, which we really appreciated. They also gave us a fair deal on our trade-in for my beloved 11-year-old Prius which made the transition feel a lot easier. Overall, everything felt transparent and low stress. We're very happy with our new Grand Highlander and would absolutely recommend Tara and the team at Cabe Toyota.

But Patricia, AJ, and Andy were so professional and kind without being pushy. However, the remaining portion of the dealership does not care about you. I should have paid attention to the fact that there were several people in the waiting room waiting on their cars to be serviced. And when I asked about the lower rating the dealership has online, they said it was due to the Service Department. Well, I live out of town and will be getting my car serviced in Bakersfield, so the service department does not matter to me. NOTE: It took them well over a month and many follow up calls to get me the second key to our Certified BMW, which I learned later was supposed to be given at the time of sale when it is a CPO (Certified Pre Owned) sale. Now that I have had the car a couple of years, things change and I traded it in for a brand-new car. In doing so, I have this Unlimited Miles Warranty that has 2.5 years remaining on it. I called BMW to see about having the remaining amount prorated back to me in a credit. They said that I needed to speak with Long Beach BMW where I Purchased the car, Finance Department to receive this credit. I have called this dealership 15-20 times now. NEVER a return call. How Rude right? So when it comes to making the sale, they are all about you and making that money. But when it comes to service, they have obvious issues and especially when seeking to speak to them after the sale, they have no interest in speaking with you since that would involve refunding you a balance they you deserve. They are just there to make money. Don't let them fool you into thinking that they are a Service Oriented Provider. BMW makes a Nice Car. There are Plenty of Dealerships that will sell you one. However, after we signed for our used 2015 Audi Q3, things quickly went downhill--and now we're stuck dealing with a very problematic vehicle. From what I understand, it's the dealership's responsibility to keep a vehicle's registration current. Despite this, we ended up having to pay over two years' worth of late registration fees on top of our own registration costs because the dealership failed to keep it up to date. After signing, we were informed that the vehicle had been in a "moderate" accident that required the rear bumper to be replaced--something that should have been disclosed upfront. We were also told that Audi of Long Beach had repaired a malfunctioning backup camera. However, when I contacted Audi of Long Beach directly, they stated that West Coast Toyota declined to authorize a full safety inspection, despite us being told otherwise before signing. Audi only performed a visual inspection at no cost to the dealership. They even offered to provide service records, which confirmed they did not repair the backup camera--instead, they only fixed a latch. Within the first year of owning the vehicle, we ended up paying approximately $3,000 in repairs--many of which could have been identified if a proper safety inspection had been completed. To make matters worse, we never received follow-up calls from the service department or the GM, despite multiple attempts to reach them. Would I return to purchase another non-certified vehicle from this dealership? Absolutely not. If you're considering buying a used car from this location, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion and having the vehicle independently inspected before signing anything.

For a large, well-known dealership, the lack of communication and understanding around the EV tax credit program is disappointing.
