This shout out is well overdue! Lucas in the Service Department was extremely helpful and thorough! I experienced a very stressful situation after I purchased a car from a different dealership. Had it less than 6 months and long story short...it became non-operational. The dealership (not George Chevrolet) that I purchased the car from and their warranty were no help or use. Lucas stepped up to assist. He did not sugar coat the situation, but took the proper steps to assess matters and follow-up accordingly. Basically, Lucas and his team got my car working in less than a week and it was all covered by the Chevy manufacturer warranty. A special thanks to Lucas, Robert (Sales Department), the Service Department and the personable young lady that took my call to get the car towed to George Chevrolet. I do not have any comments regarding a service review because I never brought my truck in for routine service. However, I can provide a review based on my truck replacement experience. My 2026 Silverado required a full engine and turbo replacement, which was confirmed by GM. Due to the severity of the issue, my understanding was that the truck should be replaced. Unfortunately, the replacement process has taken an excessive amount of time, with little urgency or clear communication. What is frustrating is the contrast in responsiveness. When I was in the process of buying a truck, I received calls almost every day. Now that I am dealing with a major manufacturer issue and waiting for a replacement, the follow-up and support have been very slow. This situation has been disappointing, especially considering the age of the vehicle and the seriousness of the repair. I expected better communication and a faster resolution read more

So, this is my first time taking my car for service here. I purchased my vehicle in another chevy location. My check engine light came on with under 30,000 miles. I came here since it was the closes to my home. I made an appointment with a gentleman named Armando for 7:20am... I got there at 7:05 since I was going into work at 8am. I didn't not see the gentleman till 7:30am with coffee in hand and still asked me to wait. Told him I was already waiting for a bit. I told him needed to get going. Asked if he was able to move on with the service. He did. Later that day since I have the chevy app i checked and I seen that my car was done the same day... no check engine light on any longer but also no call or update about my car from the service department... I was the one that had to call the next morning, they asked me for the name of the person that helped me, i said Armando. The lady in the phone came back and mention that he will call me in 15mins that was getting the final paperwork done. He did not bother to take my call. This call was made at 8:30am and i did not get a call back at all all that morning... i called back at 2:11pm and now the lady mentions it was ready... why did he not call me back.. not sure. Why did he call me when it was done.. not sure either. This is not the way to treat someone. It is very unprofessional to have someone waiting then come 10mins later with a coffee in hand and then asked them to wait more... I gave attitude yes but I was never disrespected. I felt disrespected since he did not care for my time. Finally then picking up my car the car I asked to see where it was. The person that gave me the keys said to just click on my car key to check. They didn't even know. So I did and seen it was still half way on the lift. With not even a courtesy car wash. read more

Went to this dealership yesterday 11/01/25 for an oil change service but ended up getting the rotation also since I used a coupon. I was assisted by Service Advisor/Consultant - Alex Viray. He promised me that my car will get done in less than 2 hours (11:30 am). There are multiple cars behind me during that time. As I was waiting, I noticed that my car hazard light is on, not sure why. Then after a few minutes, I saw that service clerk put my car on the side and had other cars behind me go first. I was surprised and I know something is not right. I observe for 15 minutes. My car is still not being worked on, still park aside, with hazard lights on 15 mins before the promised time! I approached Alex Viray and inquired why my car is not being worked on yet, he answered "It's in the shop". I pointed my car and told him that "IT'S NOT" and asked him why they set aside my car. Alex Viray answered, it will get done. This tells me that you are not monitoring the progress of your customer's car. Then there is this supervisor/lead/manager (I don't know what he is) overheard us and make a typical excuse using Saturday is busy. I always come here on Saturday and it is not like what I experienced yesterday. He looks new there for me cause I always go to this dealership for my car service needs. As soon as I pointed out my car, they took car my right away to a service bay. This a bad customer experience. I waited longer than the promised time since oil change and rotation doesn't take too long. Waiting for almost more than 2 hours is not my usual wait here for a simple car service in the past. Given what I also witnessed on how they set aside my car and do the sequence of first come first serve. When I was on the line to pay for the service, there's also one customer who mentioned they did the same thing to his car and with the same service advisor - Alex. If you ever think of coming here for a service, make sure to avoid Alex Viray. He is not good in my opinion and will not meet what he promised. Not on top of monitoring customer's car progress also. As for myself, I will never come back again to this dealership. I will go to the closest dealership for my car service needs near my place instead which I also told Alex and the other guy(supervisor/lead/manager). read more

I'm sticking to Chevy and I went to George Chevrolet knowing I wanted a new car but undecided on what model I want, told the salesman the 3 cars I was most likely interested in by the time you know it the salesman brought one of the models I mentioned to test drive even after I told him no, they were too aggressive telling me take the car no money down just go home with it. I took the car for a test drive and didn't like it they were still insisting for me to take the car, going over the payment opinions. The representative stated that it would be $265 to let me know what the issue would be but whatever the cost was that they would take out the $265 off the bill if I repaired it I said OK he paperwork and gave it to me as I was leaving my car. I looked at the estimate he had given it was $940. I went back to him and I said why would it be $940 he stated that for every concern I had it would be $260 per concern. I think that it's really unfair for Chevy to do such a thing to their customers especially it's a Chevy product that I'm driving just my thoughts so I took my vehicle back and I will never bring a vehicle back to George Chevrolet again. read more

Went here for an oil change and was taken care of fairly well. Went back because I had an issue with the remote start on my vehicle. Marcus took care of me and had my battery replaced and vehicle washed and ready in a few hours. Long story short, had the issue again, but the concern could not be verified. I spoke to Jim the service manager threaten to lease my car and resell it at the dealer because I was telling him to take responsibility for damaging my car more and almost ending my life for not installing everything back how it was suppose to..... Until this day they took my situation as a joke and nothing got resolved Almost crashed because my horn didn't work and had to swerve into the carpool lane .... This dealership has been so amazing with my family and I, giving us the best service even helping us apply for a credit card to help us pay the service. I been having my Escalade in this dealership since December. Everytime we would take it out something will occur but Jesse from service was always there providing us with the best service and also letting us know throughout this journey what we should do. Terrible experience with the Service department. I had my 2018 Malibu towed here when it died on me. The engine and turbo needed replacing, cost was $9K nine thousand dollars. Luckily we have Ally insurance and we were covered. When I go to pickup my car, I notice my tank is empty. While it wasn't full when I brought it in, it definitely wasn't empty. When I brought it up to Lucas the service rep, he did and said everything he could to NOT do anything for me. Considering they made a $9K dollar sale off my vehicle, I felt this shouldn't be a big deal. Lucas' reply was "We only drove it 10 miles, so...". After standing there in silence and realizing that he wasn't going to do anything I just left. Three days later my engine light comes on and Im getting reduced power. I take it back in, the catalytic converter needs replacing, that too is covered and replaced. Again, I go for the pickup. The service guy drives it up. I get in to see a warning on the dash menu saying my rear passenger side tire is at 6% air. I check the tire and its flat to the rim. I mention it to the valet and he drives it back to put air. I find Lucas to tell him this is unacceptable, but just like the situation with my empty gas tank, he gave ZERO FUCKS. He looked at my tires and said they needed replacing and said there is nothing he could do for me. I drove down the street to Ramirez Tire Shop and they found a piece of metal jammed into the tire causing a slow leak. They patched it and I moved on. But when the dealer drives my car and uses gas, then drives over a nail puncturing my tire and takes no responsibility for it is just unacceptable. Buyer beware! read more

I was told by one agent that my truck was good and almost done then called back by another "Faith" saying they didn't have my number so they couldn't call me to tell me my warranty didn't cover my check engine light. Wasted my time and money. Had my truck sitting for days. Could have easily emailed me if they didn't haven't my number - which they did. Pre-owned vehicles aren't inspected right - I'm driving and my visor fell off almost causing a crash. Button for heat which never was used was stuck - they had told me everything was checked and passed inspection. Called around to 20 different dealerships and the Jerry-Will tag team were the only ones who were able to guarantee me an extremely difficult to get Bolt EUV at MSRP with no dealer add-ons by placing a custom order. Day of the sale I worked with Jerry who arranged a pick-up for me. Of course he let me know about all the extended warranties they offer, but it was more of a "hey by the way" and I never felt pressured at all. Esau did all the paperwork for me and did a thorough, and - let's face it, more importantly - quick job of explaining it all to me. He even submitted my carpool lane sticker application for me, which I totally wasn't expecting. I had left a review a couples of weeks ago about my truck being taken for joyride with out my consent and it turn out they wanted to ratify this giving me a full tank and oil change. Spoke to Tony and he told me I could come whenever since my name was in the system. Went to today and he told me himself that he couldn't give a me full tank of gas because the manager with gas card wasn't there after I had called them prior to going three times if it was ok to go that day they said yes. I don't understand how this fucking dealership doesn't understand customer service Brett needs to do a better job hiring service managers because if this doesn't show any indication on how he's running the service part do the dealership I don't know what does. I started out my morning going to a dealership in Costa Mesa that had the vehicle I wanted online, turns out they didn't have it. So I left and called George Cheverlot. I was lucky enough that FERNANDO in sales took the call! He sent me pictures of the vehicle so I knew they had it and off I went. Walking into the showroom floor, I ran into a gentleman by the name of BRETT who happened to be the general manager. He was so kind and nice and just so friendly that I sat and chatted with him for a little bit until FERNANDO came and found me. He took me directly to the car. It was exactly what I wanted so off we went to his office where we met ALEX, who came up with pricing for me that was no runaround whatsoever, he was straight and to the point. Having done some research I knew he was honest, sincere and kind and wasn't wasting my time. Fernando was extremely knowledgeable on the car. Also helped set up the Chevy app and the OnStar programming which was difficult because I had an old email on file, so it took quite a bit of time, but he was so patient and insisted on completing the process. Long story short, I set out to bring home a new car today and thanks to the crew at George Cheverlot. It's parked in my garage. . I feel like I was treated with so much respect and kindness. It was very heartwarming because I usually don't feel that from other dealerships. Horrible experience. I purchased my truck back in 2019. Brought it in for service. The work was spotty but the worst of it was someone crashed my truck. They fixed it not to my satisfaction. It was a nightmare waited over a week and a half to get it back. They offered a horrible Hertz rental in the interim. The rental smelled of marijuana and it sat in my driveway while I waited for the damages to be completed. Stay away from this dealership.
