Some of my sushi aficionado friends may not agree with me, but I love this place! It's definitely more of an American style sushi joint with larger rolls and not so traditional ingredients. There are a lot of sushi places in the AV that match this description, but Harbour is the best. The Leo roll and the Alaskan roll are personal favorites. Wow! I am thoroughly impressed with this sushi restaurant and how tasty their food is. We came here on a busy Mother's Day weekend and the restaurant was packed. From the looks of the crowds I knew the food was probably going to be good. They definitely did not disappoint. I ordered the 3 item combo that included salad, rice, and miso soup. My 3 items I picked were the assorted tempura, yakiniku, and sashimi which consisted of tuna, salmon, and white albacore. Boy was it a lot food! Everything was super delicious and the pieces of sashimi were huge. I had to cut each of them in half just to eat it. By the end of the meal I wasn't able to finish all my food and eventually took the leftovers home. They also offered specialty drinks such as matcha green tea, Arnold Palmer, and Shirley Temple. I didn't get a chance to order any dessert since I was pretty much stuffed but by the looks of what I saw on the menu the desserts all look pretty good. This might have been the worst beginning to a restaurant experience ever. I walked in on Friday 7/11 @7 pmand told the hostess we had a party of 9. She responded that they were maxed out on big parties since they had a party of 10 and a party of 15. I said well how long is the wait. Her response was they would not take another large party tonight. However another large party walked in right after me and we're told a wait time. Not only is this rude but how do you tell me you won't take anymore but will help someone right after me? read more

Absolutely my favorite Sushi Spot in the AV. The Leo & Andrew roll are amazing. My other favorite thing to order here is Cajun Tuna, delicious. I have never had a bad experience with their food, or their chefs. The chefs are always friendly and seem to take pride in their dishes. read more

I don't like sushi at all. And I'm guessing the sushi here is really good because everyone I went with loved it. But the service here isn't that great. This was the first time I've encountered wasabi and since there was such a large amount of it I thought it was like a topping. So I put some on my California Roll and my mouth hurt. I was tearing because of how hot it was and the waiter somehow did not notice a customer about to have a heart attack. I waited ten minutes just for a refill. And the California roll was not good. I am a big tuna person... Untill i found this place! Oh man, the food is great, all you can eat menu is large the service could be better but they make the rolls good so they do not fall apart and they even put the garnishes on them, unlike big tuna you have to ask them top make them with the garnishes and correctly... I will be back here and will reccommendf this place over big tuna anytime. read more

Came in for lunch on a Saturday around 11:30. There was only 1 waiter present, who sat my family of 4 right away. There were about 10 men working behind the sushi counter and in the kitchen. There were 3 other tables of people, no more than 2 - 5 people at each table. We were given menus but then ignored for 15 minutes, no water, no drink order, nothing. Original employees are gone. Food quality has majorly gone down. We went today and the new employees charged us for an item after they messed it up and told me it would be on the house. I repeated that they said it would be on the house and she argued that even though she said that, she didn't "mean it". My husband and I went here for dinner and while we really enjoyed the sushi the service was awful. Susan was our server. She was great and friendly, but she really needed some help. There were more employees flocking around the register than actually doing anything and the place was full. This place needs more servers. First time here. I came here with my sister. She came here with her bf. She told me how good & fresh it was so I had to come see. Honestly, this is the best place in the antelope valley. Very clean, nice, and super good sushi. For rolls that big tuna, gold fish and the rest of the sushi charge $14 it's $8 here. Now only is it cheaper; its way more fresh & bigger rolls. The plates actually look nice. The owner ran to go open the door for the woman in a wheelchair. I saw the guy clean the plate so it can be perfected. 10/10! Don't go elsewhere for sushi. read more

Generally, I feel an authentic recipe is adapted too much to local taste. Pro: I like about the large portion per serving, at a lower price. I felt each piece is about 2 to 3 times larger than what you will find in L.A. downtown. Miso soup is about 30 % more than other place. If u simply want to make u r stomach full & happy, this is a good place. Green beans served as an appetizer was very generous n i liked it. Cons: If u r picky about Japanese food and the authenticity, this is not the place. They use too much rice per piece, so u basically are tasting a large marinated rice ball with a small piece of raw fish attached to it. At least, it was not what I expected. I used to like going to this place until I got tremendously ill from the sushi. I was sick for 4 days and I didn't care to complain, because I know that the management there neglects negative comments or complaints. I felt dizzy from from their cooked fish a couple of other times I had gone, when I finally had it with the place and stopped going. When I first started going there 5 years ago, they had really personal service, there was extra perks, the fish quality was bar none. Tonight I was very disappointed, the roll price went up by 2-3 dollars per roll. The fish smelt unusually fishy, we weren't greeted like we usually were. And on our way out, no thank you, no aknowledgement on the way out, one of the new girls I couldn't understand her. My friend ordered a roll with no rice and no sauces, and we got charged another $3 extra, with no warning and there was no notice that they charge for substitutions, which they never did before. I think me and my friend will be looking elsewhere. And that makes me sad read more

My girlfriend and I have been fans for almost three years now. We have tried other places to eat including the AV, LA, and the Valley and we still can't find a place that compares this. Make sure you try a Leo Roll, CJ, and the Alaskan. The entire staff is friendly and quick with service. Our favorite staff has to be CJ. He is so friendly and makes everything so good. I can't believe the way I was treated. I went with my family but I was the only one doing all you can eat so I was refused service. I understand if it was busy but it was 1230 and there was no wait and 8 seats open. They said if my wife pays for all you can eat then we can sit there but otherwise we can't. read more

Came here yesterday around 3 in the afternoon, it wasn't very busy but the service was soooo slow. It was incredible how slowly everything came out. The restaurant is way too dark and has a weird vibe to it, needs more lighting and maybe some room freshener? I ordered the chirashi, and the tuna tasted super weird and the rest of the sashimi was impossible to eat without drowning it in lemon and soy sauce. Very overpriced for poor quality sashimi. The sushi rice was delicious though, but I could have easily made that myself. Not impressed whatsoever, definitely not thinking about returning here any time soon. read more

I really wanted to love this place. After seeing all the reviews I was so excited to see if there was a good sushi place in the AV. The restaurant is clean and staff is friendly, but when I went there for lunch a week ago the music was way too loud. I couldn't barely hear my friend talking to me from across the table. And while staff was friendly, they were not terribly attentive. Our server did not check with us after we received our plates to see if we needed anything and we definitely needed refills and napkins which caused to actually seek out our waitress. As for the food, they did have a great selection and everything looked great on the menu. My friend and I ordered a green dragon as well as another roll I cannot remember the name of. The rolls were HUGE and not in the best way. The ratio of rice to fish was too high and I felt that I just couldn't taste anything else. I would definitely be willing to go back and try other options, but I am not exactly motivated to do so. read more

This place will not disappoint when it comes to sushi! The fish is fresh and they do not skimp you when it comes to sashimi and sushi. This place is definitely my new favorite sushi spot in the AV. Went to eat with my family yesterday and was very disappointed in the service. This is not our first time eating here but it might be our last. When we ordered the server had advised us that she had to ask if they could omit something but add something to our rolls. The person whom I'm guessing was the supervisor came over to tell us that it would be a $3 extra charge. I said ok no problem, she proceeded on repeating herself 3 more times that there would be a $3 upcharge which I agreed every time she mentioned it...I felt as if she didn't think we were capable of paying $6 extra dollars....come on people..I know sushi is not cheap this isn't our first restaurant and why do you feel the need to continue repeating yourself...I speak perfect English and understand very well....not cool!!! read more

I have never written a review on any place in my life but I just had to! I am extremely picky when it comes to sushi/sashimi! I'm not much into rolls because I don't like compromising the taste of the fish so I can't speak on the rolls at Harbour but I can say this place has, hands down, the BEST sushi out of any restaurant in the antelope valley. My Dad has been a Sushi Chef at Big Tuna Japanese Restaurant for five years and it is literally right across the street and I still would rather go to Harbour and spend my own money. Always get good fast service and everything is always delicious. The chefs at harbour always give generous portions, the presentation is beautiful and I am always satisfied. I take weekly trips to Harbour and it is always worth it. Still got love for Big Tuna in Lancaster (not in palmdale tho). I highly recommend this place to everyone that is ever in the AV. If you can appreciate quality AND quantity, you can't miss out on this place! read more
