Started out ok-place was pretty slow for happy hour. Drinks took forever for it being so slow. Ordered sliders and they were way over done. Asked for Medium which I realized is not always possible with small burgers but these were hockey pucks. Ordered a second round of drinks which again took forever! Our server even went back to try to push them along. Getting out check took 20 min after we asked so we didn't leave so happy as we had to get somewhere. Came here on vacation as we have been to the hard rock in Rome, Canada, and several in the USA. We sat at the bar and the bartender was rude and acted like we were bothering him. We ordered our meals and 1 hour later another waiter brought out my nachos that were ice cold, and my husbands sides for his Fajitas and said the meat would be a minute because they gave it to another table. I said my nachos were cold and we had waited over an hour we just need our check. The bartender was mad because the manager came up and said we did not have to pay for our 2 drinks and she was sorry for the bad service. I don't understand how a restaurant that was not busy at all could be so terrible. I was a manager at a high end restaurant and this was so unacceptable. read more

Service was horrible. Took 20 mins to get drinks from the bar. Table next to ours cancelled their drinks because food got to them before their drinks. Waitress did not even bring water to the table while we waited. Restaurant was only half full, reservation was at 515. Had to ask for 3 different straws. Tried it since we were in Waikiki. It wasn't crowded at all... we got their at 6:45pm...the food was just ok. We were disappointed that the menu was so limited and mostly only fried items. Nice open air restaurant with view of Waikiki from 2nd floor balcony seating. Service was pleasant. Went to sit at the tables near the bar, which needs no reservations...Lady worker with ruffles on her skirt advised me that a party of 20+ had reserved that spot, so she moved us to a regular table. Sat for 30 minutes, in which my husband spoke to 2 workers already...No "Hello, I'll be right with you" No..."Can I get you something to drink" No..."A server will be right with you" Hard Rock Cafe...tell me....Where in the flying fuck is the customer service?! Never been to a hardrock restaurant before.. had loud rock music playing throughout the night of course which adds to the fun vibe. The Bar looked nice had a good setup. Bartender was nice, I ordered my food and for what I pay for the portion size was so small. I was a bit disappointed with that. It was a cool experience but listening to loud music isn't preferred by me. Had a good time and experience but I will probably choose to go elsewhere read more

We went here for dinner our last night in Waikiki. Was seated at a nice outside table had a lovely girl seat us who was super sweet. Then our waiter Justin came. He was rude from the second we said we just wanted water. We had just been at the beach all day and both so thirst water was really all I wanted at the time. He had an immediate attitude and treated us with less service than other tables. I ordered a salad as I don't have a large appetite and because I said no protein he got even more of an attitude. Not once did he check on us thru our meal. When we were done he asked if we wanted after dinner drinks or dessert and we both said no thank you- he smirked and said i'll let you think about that and walked away refusing to give us our bill. He then came back about ten minutes later and literally threw our bill on the table. We were prepared to spend money in the store downstairs afterwards but due to our poor dining experience we left. Regardless of what one orders you should treat all tables with the same service. We live in Las Vegas a service industry and have never been treated this poorly at dinner. We watched him converse with other tables and offer water refills but did not the same with us. To top it off my salad was hot as if it was made and sat under the warmer while they cooked the burger. We tried for a few days to go for dinner but when ever we called they said they were booked up until 9pm. So we then just decided to stop in for lunch. There very plenty of tables free but we still had to wait for about 10min in the gift shop on the main floor for our table. We had Nachos, chicken strips and a burger. For desert we had the Gi-Normous brownie Sunday. The food was very tasty and and came pretty quick. There was live music playing, even in the afternoon. The guitar tower was very interesting to see. All of the seating is upstairs and I. The afternoon everyone sat outside but still in the shade, I would recommend making a reservation a day or so before you plan to visit in the evening. read more

Hard ROCK cafe is the bomb!!!! Live music was beyond chill, the atmosphere and decor is fantastic. I love rock music, I love guitars, I love history. Historic artifacts of the late Jimi Hendrix over the walls. The Hard Rock Cafe store is down stairs for those who want souvenirs and the restaurant is upstairs for all the hungry folk. Service was beyond amazing! Sadly I dont remember our waitress's name but she was the best. So nice and extremely informative. She ensured me maybe 5-6 times that my Impossible burger was the real deal holyfield. Like ZERO animal meat what so ever! Bite after bite I kept telling myself its real beef and nope it wasnt. Thinking about it now im salivating while writing this review. I need that burger in my life! All in all we came here with one plan and it was to get some burgers! Talk about SCORE! This place I have been going for years. However it has change a lot I was very disappointed about 3 things. 1. when checking in downstairs the guy was not friendly finally we ask if we can go to the bar. 2. The bar tender made me drink super bad when all I could drink was hard strong liquor 3 when we got the text out table was ready we when to the girl told her we are here she ignored me big time had to tap her shoulder to get respond then she hellp a large party who just walked up. 4. I was Riqueo Dupio who really help us since my BF husband was ill couldnt walk to far and was sitted by him. I tried to tip hm but he was told not to take. Because of Riqueo and our wait help that I give a 5 star for a wonderful service we got finally. Hard rock is decent and consistent fare at any of there locations. We knew what to expect for food, what we didn't expect was the superior service. Kingston was one of the best servers we've ever had. He was so personable and charismatic! The way he described the menu with such enthusiasm we knew the food was going to be great. My family and I ate here on our first day. We were so tired from traveling and couldn't check into our hotel till 3 and it was 12 at the time so we came here. We walked around the store till our table was ready. Our waiter was very nice he asked us if we had any allergies which was very nice. You don't see a lot of waiter/ waitresses asking that important question. Our food took about 20 mins to come out. Overall it was good food, good service and a good time. During my conference, I stooped in for lunch and drinks with friends. Beautifully guitar and wood eco decorated restaurant with clothing store on bottom floor. We enjoyed live reggae/rock music this evening. Server Kerstin was great and the staff worked well with the delivery and removal of plates. Host seated us right away, too. Well organized team. 3 beautiful shrimp soft taco's were accompanied with chips. There is cilantro sprigs which was enjoyed. The black beans were a little spicy for a spicy sensitive person. One toasted green chili that I can't wait to eat. My fave is the baby back rib that I use a fork to eat since its so tender. Sweet and soft. The cole slaw tasted like it had been flavored with an orange creamsicle. The beans were like a chili, not a sweet pork-n-bean thing. French fries were salt and peppered. I visit Hard Rock venues for the nostalgia, and definitely not the food. Despite not raving about the food, I loved the ambiance here. Our friends from New Zealand chose Hard Rock for dinner as it was walking distance from their hotel. Our group of 10 were seated fairly easily in their dining room upstairs. It was still a very packed restaurant. We got there just before a band started performing and it was fun to catch some of their show while we dined. It's not a venue to enjoy a chat or deep conversation that's for sure. The music will overpower any conversing. read more
