Hard Rock Cafe really needs to rethink their brand and internally develop the culture they want to be. I've been to at least 6 different hard rocks and they continue to decline. The one in pigeon forge was the worst. The only reason this is not a 1 star review is because the bartender that served us while we waited for our table was outstanding. We arrived to a very empty parking lot, went inside and was greeted by someone that should not be a greeter and he said "it's a 30 min wait, we only have 4 servers, no one wants to work". The service was downhill from there. Waitress forgot to bring my sons drink and forgot to give a shit. Food didn't come out together and was not at all worth the price we paid. Okay, a) I know I shouldn't have ordered fish and b) I know Hard Rock Cafe ain't what it was in the 80s and it's never been famous for its food. But damn. That catfish was terrible, like farm-raised in dirty tanks in a barn in Vietnam terrible. It wasn't old, it was just bad, no flavor, salty and pink (catfish shouldn't be pink. I'm from MS and I know catfish). It was too big and the breading was terrible, no cornmeal to speak of although there was a yellowish uncooked batter in places. The breading was hard, thin, and peeled off, which tells me it might have been pre-breaded and frozen ala' Gortons. Anyway. Unremarkable for the prices otherwise, but Red Lobster wouldn't have served that fish. read more

This place is cool! The decor, the music, the vibe.... it's a hip place and fun to see the interesting, museum quality items throughout. We stopped in for the gift shop and the restroom. Both were great. There was a long wait for a table/ food so be prepared for that. But definitely worth a stop! read more

It's been at least 10 years since I stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, and I hadn't been to a Hard Rock since. I can see the restaurant in Pigeon Forge from my hotel window, so it was an automatic choice for my first vacation supper. Menu looked a lot shorter than I remembered, but there were some appealing choices. The pulled pork sandwich was good. Others at the table got wings, ribs, and chicken strips, all good. We are HRC fans and stop by each one we come across. We booked a dinner and distillery tour through open table but it was cancelled because of mechanical issues with the bus. The manager Nandi came to our table to apologize for the cancelled excursion and paid for our meal! Although not necessary we appreciated the kind gesture. The staff commented to us on what a pleasure is to work for her and it's obvious she knows what customer service means! The meal and drinks were all very good I had the double cheese burger and my wife had the legendary HRC burger. My favorite Tupelo Chicken Tenders were not on the menu because they are still using the COVID scaled down version of their menu. Hopefully the regular menu will be back soon. read more

The wait was 45 minutes- the food was great besides the steak not having much flavor. My son has celiac disease and I was very impressed when the waitress asked for any allergies at the table so they were able to accommodate everyone- the gluten free menu has a lot of choices too. read more

We had a great experience at Hard Rock. The food and drinks are always good, but the fact that our soup was able to sit a d enjoy the covered outdoor patio with us too, made it better. Not to mention she received treats a water bowl, and a leash holder. Our waiter/bartender was very friendly. Several other staff members came and checked on us as well. My wife and I came here for dinner while visiting the area from out of town. My last Hard Rock experience was 11 years about in the Washington D.C. area, and from what I remember it was mediocre at best. The first thing I noticed was that the dinning room was relatively empty, and we were told it was going to be a 20 minute wait. I wasn't frustrated, but I wasn't pleased either. Most of what waitresses seemed like they had better things to do than be at work today. They didn't answer questions very well, they must not have listened very well when they took our orders either. I ordered the Legendary burger specifically without lettuce and tomato (because I'm picky), and I was brought a bacon cheeseburger instead. (My fault for not asking where my sauce and fancy cheese was.) After my wife ate about half of her burger, we realized that her egg was clearly rotted in a few places, so we told our waitress and she got her manager. While this guy has clearly been in guest service for awhile, the most he could offer us was for the burger to be taken off our check. He didn't offer an apology or a solution to the mistake other than to save me a few bucks. What happens if she gets sick? Will he just apologize for that too? Maybe one day I'll find the perfect Hard Rock Cafe. I may have to wait another ten years though. read more

Food was decent, kids chicken was a bit off. Water doesn't appeared to be filtered and more like straight tap. Wings were a great size, Mac and cheese was nice too. Our server however was the best part. After a week of poor to mediocre service, Ashley K was a great change of pace. While carrying a tray full of drinks she stopped, took our whole order without writing anything down and was off to serve the drinks. She remembered every detail and was constantly checking in. She saw my daughter struggling to get ketchup out of a low bottle and came over with a new one without being asked. We stopped here for dinner during a middle school band competition. We did call ahead weeks prior, so they were expecting us, but upon arrival, the staff met the students outside, clearly explained what their menu choices were, told them where they would be sitting and had their food out within minutes. As an exhausted parent/chaperone, I really appreciated the attention to detail, how quickly and efficiently our kids were taken care of and how I felt I could relax at dinner. Understandably, I think you mainly pay for the ambience at this restaurant. We started with the nachos and the serving size was huge! We then ordered a burger and the chicken tenders with fries. It was a decent amount of food, though still a little pricey. Again, you're really paying for the experience on top of the food. We would eat here again. One word: Filthy I came into this establishment and it was not very busy. Three gals were greeting people, walked into the restroom and the floors were gross. Your shoes stuck to the floors with each step, makes ya wonder how the kitchen is. Customers (ladies) were going in and out of the restrooms saying, "Ew, these floors are nasty!!" I about fell going into the restroom as the floors were greasy and black and sticky. I tried wiping my shoes off with a paper towel (see picture) it's black!! When I walked out of the restroom I seen three employees talking at a register off to the right up the ramp. I asked the guy in a white chef jacket and two waitresses if they were aware of how bad the restrooms were and if he was the manager, the guy said, "Yes, he was a manager" WHAT?HELLO?! they all said "No, they were not aware" HOW could they NOT be aware?? Dont they use the same restroom as the customer??? Arent they suppose to wash their hands?? This was unacceptable. The manager guy in the chef coat said, "Come on" in a cocky attitude after I told him, "If the bathroom is this way I would hate to see the kitchen" I then told him, "You don't want me to go back there!" REALLY?! He was serious about this. If the bathrooms are filthy, 9 times out of 10 so is the kitchen. I went and told my husband who is a retired executive chef, he said we was NOT eating here. We walked out. I refuse to eat at a place that employees are just standing around and the bathrooms are filthy and the kitchen chef manager/helper cocky attitude guy was going to take me back in the kitchen....Not professional at all. I should have walked back in the kitchen but I felt uneasy with his attitude, the way he said it. If he was the manager, he needs to be fired, talking to a customer that way when I addressed a problem in this store and I wasn't the only one--the other gals came out as well saying their shoes were sticky and greasy. They have really gone all out for kids with guitar shaped plates and coloring books my five-year-old daughter loved it. It was very clean and more spacious than other hard rocks I've been in. To be fair to all the other hard rock cafés I've been in they were in large cities. The wait staff was fast and friendly and the food was good. read more

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the aquarium. I ordered the macaroni and cheese, and the waiter advised me to have the spices on the side (good call). My dish ended up being really yummy, and everyone else's was just okay. Our service was alright, but the prices were rather high for the food that we ordered. We usually stay away from chain places, but I'd eat here again. The decor was kind of cool, but the music was really loud and we couldn't talk much. read more

We searched Pigeon Forge for a pet friendly place; and for a family friendly town it had few options for the furry members of our family. We finally gave up and decided to go to the Hard Rock Cafe and just leave the car running with the air on for our fur babies. We get there and are welcomed with a big sign that says eat with your dogs... The waitress greeted us before we even made it up the stairs! She seated us and our two dogs and had us drinks in no time. She gave them treats and had a pet bowl for water ready for them. They had clips to clip your fur baby to your chair to keep them near you while you ate. It was a wonderful experience. We highly recommend eating here, the food, the staff and the care they show for your pets is amazing. read more

The restaurant required a temperature check prior to entry and the staff all wore masks and tables were spaced a good distance apart which was appreciated given the current situation with COVID-19. Great atmosphere and service, but food was just "eh". Fries were plentiful but everything was dry. Coleslaw tasted like lettuce lightly coated in vinegar. Well we had a great time here. I try to hit HRCs anywhere on the planet I go. This one is new and really neat. Frances was our server and she was super especially with the kids!
