I just started coming to this gym. Some of the machines…read morereally hurt. Like the padding is very minimal and some are hard to operate. They are awkward and I can't seem to adjust to where they don't hurt. The machines are different from my other gym, these seem to be lower quality. Most of the kill switches are broke at the clips on the treadmill. The water station is clean. They have no paper towels in the bathroom only the air dyers which I don't use because they are unsanitary. I do like the locker doors that actually have holes in them to allow ventilation. The bathrooms could be cleaner.. like most gyms. But the machines don't look like they are cleaned often either. I don't use the tanning beds or the massage chairs but considering someone was found dead after 3 days in one of the other locations' tanning bed, I'm guess cleaning isn't a high priority for planet fitness period.

Very spacious and clean, they take your temperature before you come in, and ask that you keep a mask on until you start. From what I gathered, there's a big variety of classes that you can choose from. While we used the front space with the mirrors, their was a Zumba class going on the the back. The yoga is a great work out! Since it's yoga for athletes the focus is more towards the grip of your feet and the form. I'm excited for class to progress and have this to look forward to each week.

On the following Monday, I received an email that I was late for my appointment. I emailed back and said I had never received a confirmation from their website and just noticed it never got in my calendar. Later that day, Teresa emailed back and said that I hadn't checked some boxes on the site so they could call me, not only was she not going to reschedule my pre-paid appointment, but that on top of my pre-paid massage that she was not going to re-schedule, I also owed them an additional $25 according to her online scheduling system. Now, as an online business owner myself, I can understand tech glitches, miscommunications and a lot of things that can and do happen. However, this takes the cake in terms of unprofessionalism with zero communication. Also, as a new client, booking for the first time (and pre-paying) this is not only bad business, it's actually lacking emotional intelligence and deeply unkind of a place that is supposed to be run by "healers." Had the massage been good, I would have likely become a regular. I might add that based on my interaction with Teresa, I am taking the time to write a bad review on Yelp, something I've never done in my life. Steer clear...
