BEWARE!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Food might be good but when you place an order for delivery and you tip in cash so that the driver will get the full tip only to find out the next time you try to order and then the guy answering the phone tells you that you know you didn't tip our delivery driver yesterday so we had to tip him out. I personally handed him his 20% tip and he said thank you. He went back and told them we didn't tip. The guy on the phone told me since we didn't tip that THEY had to tip him out which wasn't true because there is video footage of me handing him the tip. I recently moved to the area and it's one of the few delis open on Sundays. Good food but it's getting one star because of the nasty unapproachable rude woman that runs the cash register on Sundays. I've been overly polite to her and she acts like I'm asking her to cure cancer or give me her kidney when I put in an order or God forbid, ask for a muffin. Today took the cake when I asked three times to add a corn muffin to my order. She ignored me and rung up the order and stuck out her hand for money. Just started working in this area and saw this deli driving by, so thought I'd give it a try. Place is pretty large. The beverage fridges go all the way back so plenty of options. Place was clean and had tables around to sit at. Looked like a big menu so I just went with my usual order from other delis. I asked for a little honey mustard. When I ate my sandwich the thing was dripping with sauce. To be honest it tested very similar to mayo that I still don't know if it was actually honey mustard! It really wasn't good at alllll and there wasn't even that much coldcut on it. Sandwich hero was large but they charged $10 plus tax for the thing. Though I must say the iced coffee is wonderful, their delivery personnel has got to be the most stereotypical privileged demeanor. I'm on a property where one building has two addresses. My Grubhub account will state that and provide both addresses and relayed which entrance to go to. He called to verify the address and then decides to go to the other side And was explicitly rude stating "well I'm inside what do you want me to do? Huh? This is what you asked for!" LOL no. Rudy and Harry's has been in this town for a long time. So many times I've driven past, today I'm stopping. Like many Deli's they have a huge selection of named sandwiches to pick from. All of the food in the cases looked fresh, that's usually the first clue for me if the place is going to be second rate. Rudy's scores a point for freshness. I ordered a Turkey Burger with grilled onion and Swiss cheese and roast beef on a roll. The service was fast, naturally I had to wait for the burger but I could see the grill from the counter and it looked maintained, not sloppy. The burger was really good and it came with shoestring fries which were crispy and delicious. Decent sized portion too, very nice. Likewise the sandwich had more than enough roast beef. They also threw in a huge pickle, thanks! There was some banter going on behind the counter between the staff while I was waiting so my meal included free entertainment. My only disappointment was the German Potato Salad. It didn't have the flavor I was hoping for. I didn't rally taste the vinegar. It was almost sweet in taste which is definitely not German Potato Salad. I like this place, the staff were friendly and helpful. I think the quality of the food is top notch.
