I'm back. I'm enjoying my once-a-week Diet Coke to start. For my starter, I'm having a huge bowl of pasta Faglioli soup. Pasta e fagioli ("pasta and beans") is a traditional, hearty Italian soup or stew with countless regional variations, typically featuring small pasta shapes, beans (like cannellini or borlotti), and a flavorful broth made with vegetables (onion, carrot, celery), garlic, herbs (rosemary, parsley), and sometimes tomatoes, pancetta, or sausage. I added all two packs of the Westminster Bakers Co crackers.l to add a little crunch. Anyhow, the soup is super hot and damn good! This is good! I added some Spicy Dadda Area 51 hot sauce. This stuff is spicy For my main meal, I'm having a Ham Grinder with lettuce, tomato, onions, black olives and cherry peppers. No cheese. Look at this huge monster! I love French fries which indon't get to eat very often. They're hot and crunchy. Big portions too! This is quite good! read more

I am a doordash driver. I came in, was greeted pleasently (which is the only reason I'm giving them two stars) and was told the pizza was still in the oven. OK, that happens, so I wait around. After several minutes, I hear from the kitchen "is that the one for the long haired guy??" I look around, I'm the only one with long hair, so I ask "are they just starting to cook the pizza?" Apparently, the answer was yes, even though a less than nice lady came out said no, and started telling me about ticket times, then she started telling me how to do MY job. She finally threw a pizza at me with no ticket on it, and taped shut so I can't look at it, so I leave. Then she comes out to the parking lot telling me she gave me the wrong pizza. So I go back in, I ask her "are you SURE this is the right one?" And she yelled at me to look, I said I can't, it's sealed. Okay this pizza is amazing! Generous toppings, flavorful sauce and the price matched the quality. Fed a large family+ for less than $50 with leftovers. We ordered ahead and got delayed but when called they happily (and with good humor) held it for us. Took it to go and even after sitting an extra 30mins still tasted amazing and fresh. I love, love, love their pizza...except that they never get the cheese all the way over to the crust... but... I was very disappointed in their grinder.... I ordered a ham grinder with provolone only, toasted... with EXTRA MEAT that I paid for... smallest size grinder with extra meat... $14.96....and there was the tiniest bit of ham in it, plus inside top of grinder roll was pink... and tried it... I think they put tomatoes on it and took them back off.... I am allergic to tomatoes...It ended up in the garbage... it was terrible! Extremely disappointed and mad for wasting $15.00! read more

I have ordered from here 3 times... Same thing every time. A large tuna grinder toasted with cheese lettuce tomatoes and pickles. 1st time was amazing best grinder ive had! 2nd time Grinder was so salty it literally burned your mouth lips etc....I called up and they were super understanding and fixed he sandwich right away. Tonight I order my usual....... Well soggy bread, unmelted cheese freezing cold sandwich for being Toasted. Stopped by and had a Cheese Calzone. It came with side of red sauce. The Calzone had a mix od mozzarella and ricotta. The bread was very thick, well cooked, looked amazing, great flavor. It had quite a bit of bread to cheese ratio. Probably because the bread was so thick and plump there wasn't room for much else. The sauce seemed kinda dry? Like a lot of tomato not much liquid, heavy. The taste was good, not great but good. Overall a good Calzone. Onion rings were pretty good as well. I'll stop back try a grinder next time. Ordered three half grinders and an order of mozzarella sticks. First the Mozzarella sticks were absolutely horrible I'm thinking it's a frozen product and not made on site . The tuna grinder was nothing to write home about, the meatball grinder was pretty good. , the pepperoni grinder was ok also wish it was the bigger sandwich size pepperoni has a much better chew than just small pizza slices. I was excited to try this place because it's close enough to walk to, but this really wasn't for me. Overall impression: it's not bad, just be aware of what you're getting. (See pictures) First, of all the pizza is cut into squares. I'm not sure why, as I did not request that. Second, the crust is really big and crunchy. Which due to the square cut meant that some slices in the corners are just plain crust. Third, due to how thick the crust is it tasted more like lasagna than pizza. Overall it tasted more like lasagna on toast than pizza. If this sounds like the pizza for you I would definitely try this out! The employees were super nice and the restaurant is cute. read more

Decided to give them another try recently and came issue with leaving off two items I asked for on my grinder. Worst grinder in Manchester! Friendly atmosphere but we were blown away by their pizza. We ordered a Special with everything on it. The amount of meat & vegies was unbelievable. The flavor was outstanding. I always ask for extra sauce. Sometimes I get it and sometimes I don't but here they definitely listened. This will be our new pizza spot! read more

Well tried another restaurant tonight with lily have to give kudos to Hartford road pizza I love sausage and meatball grinders but have always been disappointed with the flavor of the sausage usually never had a taste to add to the flavor of the meatballs but I have to say Hartford road pizza uses a nice hot sausage which has a mice robust flavor. Now let me tell you about the pizza lily ordered it was the spaghetti and meatball what a great idea it was as if you had your spaghetti and meatballs placed on a warm slice of garlic bread it was a nice combo with great flavor in each bite You really should give them a try, and when you do please say hi to patty she is a scream and a great waitress. This is our go to pizza place .. Since they are one of few who deliver home around the area. Anytime we have friends over we order from here and usually one large pizza , one portion garlic bread and some buffalo wings does the trick. Reasonably priced ...all for around 50 bucks. The pizzas are lil deep dish not thin crust... First let me say how AWESOME of a job these guys do. Consistently bringing their A-game and serving top notch quality food backed up with phenomenal customer service! I was a loyal customer of another local restaurant but after 3 separate occasions of them not getting my order right and then having horrible customer service I decided it was time to find another place. I'm glad I did. Because Hartford Road Pizza is absolutely amazing in every aspect! I am addicted to their pasta fagioli, and their spinach Specialty pizza is to die for. You want to talk grinder? Yup they got them too, my go to is the sausage/meatball parm. And being an overstuffed 16" sub its easily 2 meals. They make a calzone that will make any mouth happy! I cant say enough good things about this place. My only regret is I waited so long to walk in their front door and place that order! Great pizza! Our family orders a large pizza every week give or take. The crust is perfect and the cheese is amazing when it's melted on the crust. We have also tried their pasta with meat sauce and added in some meatballs and cheese garlic bread to the order and had enough for several servings. Highly recommend!! read more

I love pizza......a lot! We had a Groupon for this place so we went there this weekend for an early dinner. All in all, it was barely an decent experience. The pizza (which IS cut into squares....not so annoying and great if you have kids) is merely okay. Not good, not bad. A sprinkle of red pepper helped a lot and we had more than enough for the next day.....but it's nothing I would go out of my way for....even if I lived locally. The chicken parm dinner, on the other hand, was a complete disaster. My husband took one bite and wouldn't even take the rest home. The chicken was so mushy that once he unearthed the mound of sauce and cheese that covered it, it was simply awful. The prices are a bit steep for such a local place....but they seem to do a lot of takeout business. Ordered delivery from here for the first time last week. The lady taking the order was very nice and helpful, but that was the only five star part of the experience. We ordered a medium cheese pizza, buffalo wings, and a half order of garlic bread. It came to 30 dollars which seemed a little much for the amount and quality of the food. The food was just okay. Hartford Road Pizza probably hasn't even been open for a year yet, but they seem to have built up quiet a following. They do a lot of to go business but also have about 10 tables inside. I wouldn't recommend it for huge groups because they are mainly 2 person tables. The parking lot is always full. I have only ate in here once and taken food to go 2-3 times, and never been disappointed. Their location is great to me because they are right across the street from Little Theatre of Manchester, meaning if I am there for something I can just grab a quick bite to eat here. Their grinders might seem a bit expensive because a large is 10 bucks, but don't let it keep you away. Not only is it delicious, its also HUGE. I believe a large is 18 inches long, so for most people thats probably 3 meals. read more

It's very good pizza for the style it is, which is the type of pizza that is cut into squares, isn't very deep, but isn't thin crust either. I don't know any official title for that, other than saying it's not chicago or New York style. I prefer New York style, so that's why it doesn't get a better rating from me. They do a very good at putting the toppings right into the pizza. It doesn't taste or look like they're lazily put on, they mostly put the toppings right underneath the cheese. There sauce isn't too overpowering and there's a fair amount of cheese but it doesn't feel like there is too much or too little of either. I've only picked up pizza here so can't describe the conditions inside well. Overall it definitely makes for a good but not great pizza. I'd recommend it. read more
