This was my first time getting this service and I sought out a spot with great reviews. I would say that the concept isn't one for me. But that isn't because of the place. I think the entire head inspection is a little overplayed. My scalp was fine. It didn't have any issues. The service is a basic shampoo and then a large automatic chair massage machine. The lotions and potions that they put on your head they won't tell you what it is. Likely Olaplex or some other normal shampoo and conditioner. And it's not like one treatment is going to do something that is long lasting on the scalp. It's a pampering treatment. I would say to get a regular mashed and add a scalp massage with it or get a traditional Hamam Turkish treatment and it's pretty much the same but more lavish at a true spa. I won't do the treatment ever again because I didn't feel it was worth the money. I can wash my hair at home. And I can pay for a massage from an actual massage therapist. read more

The Haru Head Spa is good, but with some small tweaks could be great. For the price point, I would have expected more attention to detail and customization. Although you receive a hair and face treatment, I wish there would have been a larger intake process. For example, I have color treated hair and sensitive skin, especially on my face. It would have been nice to know the products are color safe and gentle, or, given me the option to choose some that align with my needs. I did see some improvement after the service, but nothing that blew me away. Although I was also provided a blanket, a heated option would be nice as well during the service for the colder months. Was a bit chilly! Lastly, the head rest during the service was not very comfortable, and I felt as though my neck was strained. Vibe was quaint, but I am not eager to return. I love scalp massages and I saw multiple feeds on my instagram. I was intrigued and decided to try it one afternoon. I was a little apprehensive as I pulled into the parking lot but it is a calm oasis once you walk in. You change into a robe and then are assigned a therapist. She walked me through an analysis of my scalp and then walked over to the treatment area which is in the open. I was a bit concerned that it would be noisy but soon enough fell asleep. You are on a massage chair while the treatment is on. There is a scalp treatment, massage, facial and your hands are also wrapped in hydrating gloves, you are back in your chair after this and you can see and feel the difference. It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Why 4 stars - the treatment is pretty expensive for $250 in a strip mall. Also the robe is a bit old - I could see the Velcro coming off. And then you leave with semi wet hair so you have to head home. Will I come back - maybe not given how expensive it is. read more

This would be my third time experiencing a headspa. I have tried one in Vegas and one in Anaheim. Once we arrived we were told To change into a towel and once outside I was directed to a chair the person assigned to me was nice but she said nothing and explained nothing to me once I sat. She just quickly proceeded to inspect my scalp with the machine. I had to ask her the steps and what was happening. Then the actual massage part was just okay. It definitely was not $250 plus tip amazing. Then when we were done she half blow dried my hair and I left the place with the most frizziest ugly hair ever going to lunch. I was so embarrassed. Also they give you HOT tea while getting your hair blow dried. When I say hot I mean SCALDING HOT like blister burn your tongue hot. The aesthetics was nice but they need to train their employees. I felt They had a 30 minute tutorial on how to do a headspa and let them wing it. Not good. This place is solid D in head spa experience... fellow yelpers.... Lots of different "toys" were used to enhance the facial/head massage and they were incredible. I could tell that Riley was experienced in the art of massage. I was glad that it was very quiet in the massage area and honestly I was waiting for her to upsell me on item/products but she only recommended a couple of items that I could get on Amazon. The Receptionist was welcoming and seemed happy to be there. They also honored my discount from IG that I had put in the notes when I scheduled the appointment. I was glad that I did not have to bring it up and that it was recognized right away when I was checking out. All of the staff I encountered were friendly. I was so excited to finally get a scalp cleanse. Heather took really good care of me by explaining everything she was using and what the benefits of the products were. I usually get super cold during massages or any spa treatments and they provided the warmest blanket! I was so happy. Not only was Heather working on my scalp.. the full body massage chair was massaging my entire body! The before and after pictures really showed me the difference they made on my head. When I tell you that this treatment was heavenly, I am not exaggerating. Upon arrival, Jewel at the front desk welcomed me and offered me some water while waiting for my scalp tech, Christy. I won a 90 minute scalp K-Dream treatment on instagram and was very ready to get my relaxation on. Christy took me back to get disrobed, and seated me to begin the treatment. You start by taking pictures of your scalp and bringing up any issues you might have. Once she decided which treatment to use on my scalp, she took me over to the full body jade massage chair and had me lay down. After offering an optional blanket and warmed eye mask, she got down to business and this is where things got heavenly. You not only get a scalp treatment, you get your scalp massaged, your face and neck massaged, you get a facial, lymphatic drainage, and hand and face masks. I have not been this relaxed in I don't even know how long. If that wasn't enough, the before and after looks like 2 different scalps. Everyone I encountered was beyond sweet and I will absolutely be returning for relaxation and amazing results!
