3.5 stars. Food was delivered fresh and hot, but we found most items lacking just a bit. We had an app special of a local Bennett peach grilled, stuffed with goat cheese and a slice of prosciutto. I thought the cheese overwhelmed the peach because I couldn't really taste it. Interesting combination though. Conch fritters and ceviche were good. A rare tuna entree featured tuna that was stringy/sinewy but had good flavor. Our entrees of catfish and halibut desperately needed salt. (Patsy's doesn't provide S&P on the tables.) A lemon ginger martini needed to be strained - after a few sips I got tired of chewing on all the ginger chunks. Our lemondrop and espresso martinis were good. Server was friendly but had a hacking cough. The place is cute with a Key West vibe but got pretty noisy after a little while. The menu had just enough interesting entrees that we might return.

You must make a reservation! The service was great. The bar had two specials going on. Tables are kind of tight outside but bearable. It's very cute inside, but you definitely want to request to sit outside. Our server was very knowledgeable. Wasn't aware that it was four dollars for the bread, but I recommend getting it. I come here every summer and the dishes never disappoint. I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes to start off with!!

Love the service, the food was fantastic and a nice little quaint private restaurant and we will be going back- got the muscles, a martini and teriyaki pork and would highly recommend

I took my grand daughter to my favorite Bethany Beach restaurant last Saturday. We had the grilled peaches, and roasted crab soup, scallops on coconut rice and the lamb steak. Then we enjoyed the peach cobbler and took a piece of the famous chocolate ganache cake home. Peter's attentive service was as wonderful as usual! We enjoyed our seating on the outdoor porch since the weather was a bit cooler. It's always a treat to return each summer!

    Fresh warm bread

I went to Patsy's and I wasn't sure what to expect; the place is small and quaint but the service is outstanding and the food is great! Start with their fresh bread, they give you olive oil and butter; so up to you! We had the halibut and the poke; the halibut was fresh and cooked to perfection and the poke tuna was fresh and delicious with crunchy slaw. If you haven't been to Patsy's I recommend you give it a try and enjoy it!

I visited with 3 friends last night. The food was excellent. We had the tuna special, crab cakes and shrimp & grits. Lisa, our server, was extremely helpful with explaining the specials and making food and drink recommendations. We had the passion fruit margarita and homemade red sangria. She hustled the entire time we were there. Food and drinks were served quickly and everything was great. Enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant, especially the blanket on the chair at the tables by the window. Go check this place out!

Patsys is a popular restaurant and deservedly so. They serve fresh, delicious, interesting items and are located not far from the center of the strip. Service is fun and friendly and the ambience is relaxed. My wife and I had crab soup, pumpkin soup, Key West salad, and the tuna entrée. Everything was delicious. They also had a delicious cocktail that included Woodford reserve bourbon and ginger. Prices definitely fall into what I would call the 'fancy' category but worth it for a special night out. From here you are a quick walk to the beach. Recommend to make reservations during high season.

Amazing fine dining experience on the beach. There are very few table, so I would definitely recommend a reservation to get a taste of their fabulous seafood and drinks. The portions were large, seafood was fresh, and the service was great. I would definitely recommend this spot if you are in the Bethany beach area.

20 year Bethany native checking in here... Having tried mostly everything in town and the surrounding area, my advice on Patsy's is treat yourself! Usually when we find a place we love we keep it a secret, however Patsy's is special deserves praise. Although the patio is adorable, would recommend sitting at the inside bar (tiny, 4 stools) and enjoying a fabulous evening with Tim, who will guide you through the best of the extensive menu and cocktail list! Our service at Patsy's was exceptional (talented professionals with practice based recommendations on pairings and what to order and when) as compared to some of the other shops in town. You can tell the staff cares deeply about the reputation of the restaurant. The food was excellent, very fresh with a unique style and the cocktails were the best we've had recently. Special thanks to Tim who was educational and entertaining, we loved our time at the bar with you!

Caesar don't say no to croutons. Dirty Martini by go to..bartender got it going..many different selections but went on my gin go to.

Our first visit took place on Mother's Day around 4:00 PM. Because brunch was still being served and dinner didn't begin until 4:15 PM, I booked a table for two, and we passed the time at the bar. We caught some live music while I enjoyed a $16 Maker's Mark Manhattan before settling the bar tab. Once dinner service opened at 4:15 PM, we were seated inside at table 45 to escape a breezy outdoor deck. It turned out to be the debut day for their new menu. I ordered another $16 Maker's Mark Manhattan and the $36 seafood stew--a rich combination of fish, clams, shrimp, fennel, pepper, onion, Spanish chorizo, and tomato seafood broth accompanied by grilled bread. It was a generous portion, so I brought the remaining stew home to enjoy later that evening. To conclude the meal, I tried the Lucky 7 porter from Evolution Craft Brewing Company ($7), which featured dark dried fruit and sweet toffee tones balanced by notes of chocolate, coffee, and smoke. Our server, Brendan V., did an excellent job caring for us and demonstrated great knowledge of the new menu, even while managing a large outdoor table with five children. Our total bill for that evening came to $114, excluding gratuity. We returned on Memorial Day for a second dinner, this time in a group of five that included family and a friend visiting from Scottsdale, AZ. Since the outdoor fire tables were completely full, we secured a table on the left side of the restaurant. I began with a spicy mango margarita for $14, which featured tequila, mango, lime, agave, jalapeno, and a tajin rim, and opted for the $36 seafood stew once again. Unfortunately, the cocktails were inconsistent this time; I ordered a Maker's Mark Manhattan up, but it tasted like watered-down bourbon. When a second Manhattan tasted exactly the same, I decided to cancel the order. Nevertheless, our server Nadine K. provided excellent service throughout the evening, and our bill came out to $92 before gratuity. Ultimately, we all agreed that we would gladly visit again.

I know the restaurant industry is difficult, and I am usually not one to write bad reviews, but…read morethis one is justified. Don't be lured by the great ocean views. This is still a hotel restaurant, and a mediocre one at best. The good . . . great views of the Atlantic and decent drinks. The bad . . . just about everything else. I'll preface this by saying that I was not going to write a review despite the underwhelming experience, but after the final straw, I simply can't resist. We started with a round of cocktails that were attractive and well mixed. The night was off to a good start. Unfortunately, it was downhill from there. Appetizers were fried cauliflower and calamari. Entrees were crabcakes, a Caesar salad topped with a crabcake, seafood bucatini, and seafood stew. Service was indifferent at best. Server did not offer any specials until asked and did not know how to handle problems (see below). The appetizers came out and were fine. The cauliflower was fried, but not as crispy as a really good fried cauliflower. The chipotle aioli had a nice flavor. Calamari was well fried, but the sauce was overly salty. Then came the entrees. The seafood bucatini was the highlight in that it was perfectly acceptable. For $52, I expect a meaty crabcake with lots of jumbo lump. This crabcake was loaded with filler. As for the caesar salad, the menu says it comes with "Shaved parmesan, anchovies, croutons, house made caesar dressing." But the salad came out with no croutons. When we asked the server, he said they ran out of croutons and he needed to bring the manager over to offer a solution (which turned out to be sunflower seeds, smashed cashews, and leftover bread from the kitchen - when we said we'll take them, the server said we may be charged for keeping all three). Lettuce was also the top of the romaine, which was mushy and needed the non-existent croutons to save it. Then there's the seafood stew. The bowl came out with no spoon and no bread (and no plate for shells, but I guess that's not a necessity). They brought a spoon when asked, but said it doesn't come with bread, and we would need to order bread if we wanted it. Seemed odd, but okay. The broth was ridiculously salty and borderline inedible. We paid and left feeling like it was fine, but we probably won't return on future visits to Bethany. Then we checked the menu to see what it said about the seafood stew. Sure enough, it is supposed to come with "grilled bread." Perhaps they ran out of it with the croutons, but to say we would need to order it separately reflects a lack of knowledge of the menu, complete indifference, blatant lying, or all of the above. Beyond that, the pop music was far too loud for a restaurant that wants to be a decent restaurant. The view was nice, but I feel like I just threw my money into the ocean.

I loved the fish cutouts they had on the wall next to us. Took about 10-15 minutes for our food. We started with the pizza and it was exactly what we wanted. Simple but the flavors were there! Pesto, garlic and the mozzarella cheese that pulled apart string style! Maybe could have been a crispier crust but I was happy to have all those components hit the mark. We dug into the pasta and OH MY GOSH!!! Again, the simplicity of this dish with perfectly balanced flavors. The basil and the garlic on point! Oh and the sauce, light and a refreshing hit with lemon.
