My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Altoona, AL. We love the try new places every where we go. This place was beyond mine and my husbands expectations. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional. Our waitress Shawntel was GREAT! Always have a good time here, did an event with around 25 people and they accommodated our large party very well.

My mother and I attended the MS Antiques Roadshow in Columbus today. We didn't eat at the restaurant itself, but they catered this event. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures, but I can say that the food was delicious! We were there early and had more brunch-type items. I had their bread pudding (wow!), chicken and waffles (another wow!), and some kind of quiche...it had smoked ham and cheese and it was incredible! My mother tried their chicken salad crostini as well, and really enjoyed it! All in all, it was great food and the folks who were working the event were really nice! If we're ever up that way again, we will definitely be dining there! read more

Had a great time at Harveys. The managers are personable and caring. Did not have Moscow mules because they were lacking Ginger Beer but they prepared me a delicious ginger martini. Inside the restaurant is dark and cozy. Harveys has a full bar and TVs by the bar were you can watch the game. If you visit Harveys you must have the Broccoli bites! The broccoli bites are the most delicious appetizer I have had in a long time, the texture, the different ingredients in them and the option of having them with ranch or honey mustard is a plus. In reality the broccoli bites are so good no sauce is actually needed. The ranch is pretty good thou. The Delta chicken was worth the wait, Everything about it was delish, even the bread that was served with it, something about the marinated grilled chicken and the sauce, etc it was WOW! Last I also had the bread pudding with ice cream. The bread pudding is quite a big serving so make sure you are sharing. My husband and I were looking for a local restaurant for dinner during a recent trip to Columbus. We found this place on Yelp. We arrived around 4:30 in the afternoon. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had our choice of a table or a booth. We started with their popular appetizer, the broccoli bites. Very tasty! I had the steak wedge salad and hubby had the shrimp linguine Alfredo. His entree came with a delicious looking house salad. He gave bonus points as the salad was topped with chopped bacon. Both entrees were very good. We shared the brownie sundae for dessert. The waiter was friendly and excellent! The service from the staff person who delivered the food was also excellent. The manager stopped at our table and inquired about our experience as well. We would definitely eat here again and recommend it to our friends. read more

Came here last weekend for Sunday brunch as I was heading back home to Texas. I was in town for an event and came with my family to have brunch. I ordered the Lemon Pepper Chicken and my mouth is still watering as I write this review. It was sooo delicious! It was the most juiciest chicken bursting with sooo much flavor that I think I've ever had. I had the blueberry mimosa because it sounded interesting. I didn't love it, but it was still good. I probably would try something else if I ever come back to Columbus. If I do, I'm definitely eating here again! I gave 1 star short because we had to wait forever and some of the staff seemed a little rude when we would ask how long. There also isn't much of an area to sit and wait or park for that matter. The best meal I had while in Columbus! The shrimp and grits were so dang good! Oh man. I had the crawfish pimiento cheese as well, it was good but nothing that wowed me. I had crawfish chowder with my entree and it was quite good too. I was being indulgent and got cheesecake for dessert. I believe they use local ingredients for their cheesecake and man, was it good! The only real drawback for me was that I had no idea that they had a dedicated curbside area. I was parked for like 15 minutes before I noticed it and nobody in the restaurant called or pointed it out. I honestly don't recall it being mentioned on their website either. It'd probably be a good thing to fix for non natives. I can't wait to be a regular here! read more

I love this place in Columbus! It's so delicious and the service is phenomenal. The broccoli bites are a must. They are crispy on the outside and so hot and yummy on the inside. Stephanie aka/ puddin was amazing waitress and that is what made the night worth it ! Now are fried mushrooms and salads and desserts were great But I would not recommend ordering a steak at all. First off our plates all came out cold but my wife's ribeye was well done and ordered it medium but I understand everyone is short staffed and things are tuff so we didn't complain. We're from way out of town and didn't know what to expect. Very nice atmosphere, terrific service, and great food. We tried what we assumed to be local dishes; grits, catfish, cajun chicken, crawfish cream, mississippi mud cake, etc...not a single dish we did not enjoy. The waitress, Kayla or Kaitlyn I believe, was super friendly and nice. We shared stories and compared hometowns. The manager Josh was also very friendly and kind. First time there today. To me, a restaurant is a restaurant. I've honestly never been more impressed with a local restaurant. The food was AMAZING! The waiter recommended the shrimp and grits and they did not disappoint! My husband got a steak rare and it truly was rare and the seasoning was perfect! My picky children loved their food as well. Our server was Christian. He is young, so no clue what to expect- but he was beyond fantastic at his job. The atmosphere is beautiful and rustic feeling with wood accents everywhere. Do not buy their gift cards. They did not honor a gift card that I bought for my parents from their website. The wait staff and manager also treated my parents very rudely when they pressed them on why the would not accept the card. They had eaten there for many years but will never go back. Try the marinated prime rib with the jalapeño cheese grits. This is a stupendous combo, and these guys got it right tonight.

Harvey's was recommended by the local marina where we were staying. What a great meal! I'm a salmon snob with lbs of fresh caught salmon always in the freezer. The salmon was incredible! I came into this establishment the other night with my kids and my husband. When we first walkedin the staff was very friendly and we got seated pretty quickly. When we sat down we were greeted by our server Asia. She was so welcoming and made us feel right at home.
