I was so excited to try this place when we moved back to the area, and maybe my expectations were too high, but I wasn't overly impressed. It's an instagram paradise and the coolest atmosphere, so I get that, but I think they know their food can be mediocre because the ambience is so top notch. Don't plan on having a conversation with anyone at your table with the music being so loud but if you're here to drink and hang, it's the perfect place. The food for us was OK. We were excited to try the donuts as an appetizer (they didn't come out until after the meal, I think they forgot) but they were cold and dry. The avocado toast was super messy and very hard to eat, kind of bland. We also ordered a scrambler (can't remember the exact name) but definitely missing any and all flavor. PLAN ON WAITING if you come on a weekend.. and by waiting, I mean like a 2+ hour wait. They don't take reservations & I know they shut down their online waitlist for the time-being so try to go during the week if possible otherwise plan a 3-4 hour weekend adventure (unless they open back up their online wait list). Worst Hash Kitchen in the valley and I love Hash Kitchen usually . Yesterday me and 4 other ladies went to Hash Kitchen on Indian School and had strange service and horrible tasting mimosas. Three of the people in my party ordered the mimosa flights and each person found the orange flavored mimosa in their flight extremely undesirable. We notified our server and she said there is nothing they can do to fix the problem and they could not replace with another flavor. We asked for a manager and she came over and basically told us that we were S.O.L. Next, our server was the most inattentive server I've had in years. She gave us the feeling we were bothering her. She delivered our food and never returned to ask did we need anything. We were able to get her attention and asked for some condiments which we never received and those that had questions at the menu were given dismissive and vague answers. Based on our interaction with the manager I have deduced that managerial staff at this location has tainted the atmosphere /service and there is a huge disparity between the service on Indian School and the Chandler location. I was very disappointed in my experience in this particular Hash Kitchen and it left a bad taste to me about all the others. read more

I've been to their Scottsdale location and vaguely remember it being not too shabby but not mind-blowing. I'd say, in a nutshell, that's the same deal here - 3, maybe 3.5 stars. I'd say the highlight here is their absolutely ridiculous Bloody Mary bar. At $13 for a build your own Bloody Mary, it is a little pricey, though with all the add-ons, it might very well be worth it. Our waitress really tried to sell me on it when I said I just wanted their plain Jane, ordinary Bloody Mary, which was $10 - which came with boring old celery (no hate on celery, I promise), and none of the crazy stuff like Slim Jims or ravioli or a million choices of olives and bacon, but I honestly was more hungry than anything and wanted to fill up on food not a Bloody Mary so I went the complete other direction on it and got a blueberry mimosa instead - it was alright, and at $6, a lot easier on my pocket. I got their breakfast poutine, which was pretty decent, as you would expect from poutine, but nothing out of the ordinary. Their menu leaves you absolutely spoiled for choice, to the extent it became a little overwhelming but next time, I'd definitely want to try something else - a pancake of sorts, maybe. My biggest complaint was the loud music. I guess I didn't quite remember the Scottsdale location having remixed music piped in, where you literally have to shout over your breakfast to have a conversation. Not quite what I expected but from what I gather from other fellow Yelpers, this is very much peculiar to this location so if I decide to swing by Hash Kitchen again, I might give this location a skip. read more

This was my second time eating from Hash but yesterday was my first time dining in and I must say it's got an atmosphere that makes you want to come back. Be prepared to stare at the menu for 20 minutes because it's very hard to decide what you're going to order, and it gets even harder when the waiter walks by with something new you didn't even notice on the menu. I was caught between the scrambler, the breakfast burrito (which I had my first time) and pancakes but I decided on the Mexicana scrambler and I ate it ALL! Pretty good food. Also if you're planning on a mimosa or two I recommend getting the flight because it's more for your buck VS just getting two--you're welcome. A whole vibe !!! Went here with the fam for Mother's Day and the atmosphere was so fun. They don't take reservations so the wait on Mother's Day was about 2 hours. That was pretty much the only downfall. On a regular day, we definitely wouldn't have been willing to wait that long but we knew every other place was busy (esp. without a reservation) so we just waited it out. Thankfully, it didn't take the whole 2 hours to be seated so that was a relief. The music was good with the live DJ, the food was bomb, and the customer service was on point! The staff was very friendly, from the hostess to the servers. My whole family really enjoyed their time, even my 80 year old Gramma, who is in a wheelchair :)! Ever felt like going to a club for breakfast? That's this place. They have a DJ on the weekends and this place is packed and loud. A fun atmosphere, but probably not best for actual breakfast conversation. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros - as flavorful as it looked, it surprisingly lacked the spice and flavor I expected. Love love love! The location/aesthetic is so cute. The restaurant manager came over and said hi. She suggested her favorite dishes and suggested anything we asked about. Dropped by for breakfast before flying back home. Place is super nice with a DJ for Sun brunch. Food was great. Service was really slow, which is why 4 stars, but the manager Ucel (don't know if spelling is correct) made it right. He took ownership and took our orders. My daughter got the coconut French toast. She really liked it, but would have preferred to have syrup on the side vs all over it. I got the caritas hash, per Ucel's recommendation. Today was my first time at Hash Kitchen. I've heard so many people rave about their food and especially their Bloody Mary bar. Being that it was Father's Day morning I had a feeling they'd be busy. Sure enough they were, the wait to get a table was 45-50 minutes. However, they offered us to sit in the area close to the bar. High top tables. We were able to score a spot under the shade. The food: we ordered a fruit board to start. The fruit was fresh and it contained whatever is in season, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries and blueberries. It was all delicious. Next we ordered our breakfast. I ordered the chilaquiles without egg (can't eat them), while my hubby got the carnitas hash. To drink, my hubby got a cold brew Irish coffee. All in all, the food was delicious! My mom makes chilaquiles, so I rarely order them from restaurants because I don't think anything compares to homemade. Well, let me tell you, ORDER them! They came out still a little crispy with just enough sauce. The sauce was soo good and they even put some on the side to drizzle more if I wanted to. The pulled chicken on top had a red sauce that complimented the green chilaquile sauce very nicely. My hubbies has was delicious as well. The carnitas were nice and tender. He ordered his eggs over medium which were served over the hash. It was more than enough as he couldn't finish the whole thing. The service was great, the staff was very personable and attentive. It was already warm out and they made sure they kept our water filled. I look forward to coming back again and trying out some of their drink specials (currently 30 weeks pregnant). I was disappointed in the food for the price. This place is very novel. Trendy. If you like Bloody Marys then this might be your place. If you're a foodie, you may be disappointed. While the presentation of food is stellar in most cases, the food itself is not on par with expectations. Especially the hash. As a place named for hash, I would expect that to be the best hash I've ever had. Instead, it was akin to frozen O'Brien potatoes with some chopped green bell peppers thrown in and baked in an oven. But let me tell you about the food... There were so many creative choices, but I finally settled on the Caritas Hash. It was layer upon layer of delicious flavors. On the bottom were breakfast potatoes in a red chili sauce, topped with 2 eggs over easy, topped with braised pork, topped with their signature hash browns, drizzled with avocado salsa, and a wedge of avocado on the side. Tortillas were wrapped on the side also to stay fresh and warm. This was enough to fill up on, and plenty for leftovers. 6/12, opening day. So i have been qaiting for this to open for months now. Me and my coworker can here for lunch, 11am. It was busy but the hostess sat us down very quickly. The atmosphere was ver lively and inviting, they had a DJ and the bloody mary bar made it feel like a friday night and not 11 on a wednesday lol. The waiters were very friendly, and quick to notice half emty beverages which is a big plus! The food sas great. I got christinas tamale, i believe it was pork qith green sauce, a slight sweetness with two poached eggs. It was amazing. My coworker got a burger, also amazing from what she told me. I would like to point out that i was the first person to open a bottle or tapatio, the manager or owner idk came up to me and brought the tapatio.
