Probably overhyped, and therefore, disappointing. Needed to try it, because I still pine for Blue Plate, and haven't found somewhere I have to have breakfast yet. Menu is fun; lots to choose from. I got the birria hash. No longer served with consommé. They were unable to make my egg correctly (broken yolk, cooked through). They broke the yolk and it was basically raw. I've been waiting to try Hash Kitchen and today was the day. Cool vibe and design! Menu has a great look and a breadth of options. Avocado Toast Has# Style was huge and delicious, enough for two! Service was great sitting at the bar too. One suggestion, maybe don't put the paper liner on the plate for this dish as with a fork and knife dish it tears when you cut into it and I am pretty sure I ate some paper. Easy fix. Will be back on the weekend when the DJ is going. read more

Super fun brunch spot! Very unique, not something you find often in utah. Lots of good alcoholic beverages, the booze bag with watermelon was delicious. Billionaire's bacon was good (if you like thick cut fatty bacon- it's only one slice but I'd say it was good). Chicken and waffles were great. The fried leeks add something unique to it. There is a DJ playing live music & the decor is very big and bold- definitely a place more for you and your girls, not your grandma!! read more

Went here not knowing anything about it and it was so amazing! Such a fun atmosphere, the food was SO tasty! And the drinks were really fun! Disappointing brunch at Hash Kitchen this morning. The place was pretty insane. Maybe 40+ people waiting outside, many inside. There were like 8 empty tables in sight. We'd joined the waitlist before arriving. Eventually told 10 minutes. 20 minutes later we followed up and were eventually seated at one of those empty tables. I got coffee and the Basic AF w/gluten free pancakes. My son got a sandwich and half order of the Boston Cream pancakes. He switched to gluten free so I could taste them. Big mistake. Being GF sucks, but somehow gluten free pancakes are usually great. Everywhere from Original Pancake House, Millcreek Cafe, to basic places like iHOP have a great gluten free pancake. Light, fluffy. Even a box of Krusteaz produces a good GF pancake. These were like hockey pucks. I took a video, but can't seem to post it here. The bacon and eggs were fine. I had to ask for the potatoes they'd forgotten. It was about 25 minutes for my son's latte. So while the experience was meh, the expensive wasted pancakes were the huge let down. Had a great Sunday Brunch! My friend had the Avacado Toast and it was HUGE, but delish! I had the Spring Frittata with a side of yummy applewood bacon (3pcs) and green chile verde salsa. Ordered the carnitas hash. It was decent. I thought it was supposed to come with hashbrowns, but mine came with potatoes...they were hit or miss...some cooked well and some that weren't cooked fully. Eggs were a little over done...should have been over medium and closer to over well. It almost felt like we got the wrong food cause all of the orders at the table had some aspect of the dish incorrect. Salsas were flavorful but it was interesting that the salsa verde on my entree was cold but when another side was brought to the table, it was warm. Maybe they made a new batch?? Staff was nice but didn't feel very attentive. The person who brought us our food was better than the person who took our order. I would like to go back to try another dish...maybe the hot chicken sandwich. Restaurant was clean. Spacious. Bring a jacket cause they had the AC pumping. read more

Came to check this breakfast place out and was unexpectedly surprised by the awesome atmosphere! Disco balls, music, alcohol with breakfast and a build your own Bloody Mary bar! They also have a build your own donut bar, will have to bring the kids next time I'm sure they would love that! Utah needed something like this! Definitely going back for more. Went today for brunch. It was better than expected Started with a Chai Tea which was a latte and fantastic. I ordered the Mexicana scramble and it was great. Tasty and just the right amount of food. The hash browns were cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and tender inside.Our server Alice' was genial and doing a great job in a relatively new spot. My dining companion had the Birria Hash which comes with consome' and tortillas. My companion ended up taking about half of it home it was such a generous portion. The food here was good, it does seem a bit on the pricier side in my opinion. The ambiance is very Vegas disco vibes. There is a DJ there with a big setup, they were playing club- type music and giving shoutouts for birthdays throughout breakfast with the air horn sounds. They also do a "shot o clock" at 12pm, I'm not sure if it's a weekend only or everyday thing. They bring around non alcoholic shots for $3 and alcoholic shots for $5. There are a lot of alcoholic choices such as a mimosa flight, Bloody Mary bar and you can make your own alcoholic seltzer that they can there, and more cocktails. I would say the vibe was a bit different than I would prefer for a chill brunch but that's my personal preference. I think they are still getting a few things together since it's newer so the service needs a little work but everything else was decent for a new restaurant! read more

Bloody Mary Bar looked amazing; tons of choices. All three varieties of potatoes were deep fried. Partner had the green chili hash. Said it was tasty but needed some spice. My biscuits were good but it only came with one little packet of Smuckers jam. I had to ask for honey. Our server was friendly. She was working the coffee bar and waiting tables. Did not get a refill on coffee and no spoon to stir in the cream. The guy who brought our food had such greasy hair and so much dandruff on his black shirt it made us cringe. The music is too loud and the bass is turned high which makes the every thing go boom boom boom. Don't think we will go back unless it's for a Bloody Mary. read more

Food is fantastic, you really can't go wrong with many dishes, and although it tends to be a little pricier, you definitely get what you pay for with portion sizes. We often need to go boxes for the skillets and a few other items. Lattes do tend to be a little too sweet, but it's expected from this place. Ambiance is very fun, but if you sitting by the DJ it can be a little too loud. Actually last time we went we sat in the bar area and it was still a little hard to hear. But overall great read more

I have loved Hash Kitchen since I first discovered them in AZ. Now living in UT, I was thrilled when I heard we were opening a Hash Kitchen! Unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. I get that Saturday brunch is going to be the busiest, but from my past experiences with Hash, they have always done a great job managing the wait. Not this location. I was told it would be a 30-40min wait, and ended up waiting for almost 2 hours. When I went to check on my status It seemed they had skipped over my party of 3, and told me it would be another 15mins. I'm fine with waiting, as long as I'm given real expectations. Finally being sat, we waited another hour for our food and one person waited over 40mins for a beverage after asking the server to check twice and then she avoided our table upon coming back to our section. The food was on point, which I'm happy about, but this location needs to work on table management. It was very apparent they were struggling hard to turn tables and keep things clean.
