There's better places we can get burgers in Katy that's worth it and the price matches the size of the burger... for real! I do commend the team that worked on that busy Sunday rush. Very expensive for below average burgers. Went with a buddy last Friday waited 20 minutes in line. Ordered one double hat burger with cheese one double hat burger no cheese, and two small drinks. The bill was 25 dollars. The sauces are ok but don't make the burgers that expensive. The indoor area is hot and they said it is always that way. Went to week before to Freddy's custard on 10 the wee before and the same thing with 2 fries not one was 17 dollars for much better burgers, service and a cooler dining area. This place had super burgers and fries - will try breakfast in a couple. Ingredients fresh and sauce could be added later at your leisure or left off completely. Not fond of paying an additional .79 for a slice of cheese. Counted 12 folks that I could see in the back of the house - they were well synced. Lovely touch to have a staff person meandering through the tightly crammed tables sweeping. Noise was deafening so no convo could be had. Kid friendly, all of the kids in Texas, but no to Fido. Only downside IMO is the seating is cramped indoors, a couple of tables inside need to be retired. No EXL human, wheelchair or walker could be accommodated, hope they resolve that issue for those that would not be able to dine here. Planet friendly with recycle bin. Outdoors was clean, sweat was free. Parking ample, will return in a couple for breakfast tacos. read more

Ok decided on burgers, checked the Yelp reviews and Hat Creek popped up as new and hot! We went through the drive through, ordering was easy, as in the person taking our order was patient and spoke clearly, I chose the Classic burger regular fries and a Peanutbutter cup shake, my wife had the Cowboy burger and sweet potato fries. As we pulled up to pay they had my shake ready, it took several minutes before getting our food this is because the orders are cooked fresh. I will admit the shake was amazing but when we got our orders my regular fry was a bit disappointing, not bad but a bit chewy, borderline stale, my wife's sweet potato fries were crispy and fresh... once we got home I was apprehensive about the burger.... our bill was over 30 dollars for two burger combos. And after my fries I wasnt sure... Let me say this... my burger was in the top 3 that I've ever eaten hence the 5 stars... it was juicy and flavorful also the bun wasnt soggy, the cheese was melty and oozy, the bacon tender but not chewy.... we will definitely be going back. I was shocked at how low the reviews were. We only came here because of my son's baseball team party. The burgers weee great. The French fries not so much. However, if you have children, especially ones who need to burn off some energy, this is the place for you. The playground is spacious with a lot of room for the children to run around. read more

This is one of the best burgers around and on par with Whataburger. The fries are awesome as are the shakes. Another bright spot is the manager, Jeff. Spent 15 minutes waiting in line to order & an additional 1 hour & 8 minutes to receive two combos & two kids meals. Okay well hmmmm, first initial impression. Very disappointed in that the outdoor playground isn't covered from the Texas Heat "it's 2019" and being they built an excessively high ceiling patio and they didn't Put the playground under that area yet put in direct heat where kiddos can get burnt is no bueno. Sad with that said coming inside, this place is lost. They didn't even use any creativity in the decor this looks like the child of a Whataburger/FiveGuys the decor is awful. The layout is absolutely terrible as the line forms a maze right at the door like a typical fast food restaurant and don't get me started on the awful solid red chairs. Okay so on to the food. Was kinda skeptical with initial impression. But we order a Cowboy Hat Burger and the Chicken Flashers. So I will say in truth the was pretty decent. Fresh taste. Cooked just right. The negatives as although the bun is sweet and moist it is a tab bit greasy to some extent mixing that with a loaded burger with BBQ sauce can make for a messy experience. Haha. The Chicken Flashers, my son was like this isn't every chicken basically their take on "Fingers/Nuggets" but not exactly sure what or how to describe them. They seem to be pieces of breast lightly breaded yet grilled. They had an off-putting seasoning on them and only way can describe them is thing of KFC grilled nuggets. The fries are sweeter white potato not sweet potato just a sweeter potato. Not sure how I felt about that as that tends to give the fries an undercooked taste. But they were cooked properly add a little extra salt to taste. With that said. I will happily go back when they cover the patio or At least shade it so that it's not in direct sunlight. Burgers are okay, not bad but not great. Kind of expensive for what you get. I was Not that impressed. The single burger is pretty small and you have to pay extra for cheese. I also paid extra for bacon and received less than one strip of bacon on the burger. Not that flavorful and just average, nothing special. I think the Joy Luck burger down the street is much better. Freddy's is better also. Willy Burger in Katy is far superior. read more

The food is great. I had the turkey burger. It was moist. This location was having it's soft opening when I visited and only stayed open from 7am to 2pm. I went several times after 2pm initially only to learn by calling the Spring location about the limited hours. Kind of annoying. You can't tell they are open as there is a large uhaul blocking the drive thru. I went during breakfast hours and was able to get a burger as they serve them ALL day. The fry sauce was a nice addition to the crispy fries. I frequented this establishment often when I lived in Dallas. Glad to see them finally open up in Houston. read more

We got the Sombrero to share because of the ridiculous pricing. The flavor was ok and it was super greasy. We will probably only come back to try a few more things. This place is awesome! I just went there and it was a spectacular experience. The service was really great. The people were nice and they were carrying on conversations like I was their best friend! I particularly was impressed with William, he was a unique part of the experience. On top of the service, the food was great and inexpensive. I had the classic with a chocolate milkshake and I was impressed. They took what most people consider a "simple" recipe and made it a flavorful dish. I would recommend this place to anyone.
