This place is basically mall food court hibachi. Portions and price were ok. Food is so-so. The bad part though is that the ENTIRE restaurant is covered in a coating of grease. I don't know if their grill hood isn't working or what, but I've never seen anything like it. The floor is slippery because of the grease. When I sat down to wait for my food, I noticed brown grease leaking down the walls!! The security camera on the wall was even brown. My first day I purchased 2 orders of California Rolls and 2 orders of veggie egg rolls that come in 2. I was impressed with the flavor of the spicy mayo sauce and how good the egg rolls were (1st & 2nd photo) so I decided that I would come back the next day and buy more (3rd & 4th photo). Unfortunately on my second visit I had 1 tray missing crabmeat and every one of those rolls fell apart once I grabbed them. They were stingy with the amount of spicy mayo in the cups to the point I had to go back and ask them to put more in the cups and STILL didn't have enough even after I offered to pay. When you walk in you can smell the grease so my guess is the grease needs to be changed. This was one of the worst places I have ever been to for numerous reasons. I visited with my girlfriend, who, after we ordered, informed me that one of the chefs was staring, smiling, and WINKING at her. This set the tone off in a bad way, but this was only the beginning. The walls and ceiling are coated in brown liquid? The place is disgusting to say the least. We decided to eat elsewhere because the chef was continuously staring and making facial expressions at her. She told me that everytime I wasn't looking at him, he was staring directly at her. I caught him STARING at her rear end and talking to his coworkers whilst we exited. I began to say something, but decided it wasn't worth it. And to top the entire experience off, I was struck with an awful case of food poisoning. My girlfriend threw her entire plate away, so luckily she did not suffer the same fate as I did. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. First and last time here honestly. I wanted to go to a hibachi place simply craving noodles and since I never went to this place, I thought to give it a try. There were two line cooks preparing the meals and one gentleman who would box and serve the meals. Very efficient service and also very quick. The meals were both super plentiful considering the cost. The shrimp looked like shrimp so I would say the presentation on my meal was better. The chicken and beef is more like thin strips of meat (you can only tell it is chicken because of the color). We also both noted the rice was somewhat overcooked (more mushy and less rice noodles in appearance). Same for the veggies...a bit over steamed so they were kind of mushy in appearance too. Taste wise, both entrees were decent. You are provided extra teriyaki sauce and yum yum sauce with your meals. I did find myself using the teriyaki sauce and it was very flavorful. The presentation wasn't anything special. It was served in a plastic takeaway plate but I was responsible for getting my plastic fork from the condiments station that was setup against the wall. I got a decent amount of rice and chicken but only a small amount of veggies. It was still more than enough to eat in one sitting so I got a cover for my plate and took the rest with me. The teriyaki chicken was quite tasty and I was satisfied with the customer service. There's a reasonable amount of seating, if you choose to eat in, like I did. However, it got pretty smoky in that joint and I left there selling like a bit of everything on the menu. The food is "allegedly" cooked as ordered but I watched as a few customers walked in and out with their orders in less than 5 minutes. Perhaps, they called and ordered in advance. I didn't asked, I just observed. There are about 4 parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant but don't panic, there's plenty of free parking nearby. There was only a couple pieces of broccoli and the zucchini had such an abnormal texture. The first time I ate here, the food was fresh and really good quality but the second time was disappointing. We ordered the chicken and beef teriyaki bento with seaweed salad, crab Rangoon and dumplings and veggies. The first time and second time we ate here the seaweed salad was great. The dumplings were ok. Crab Rangoon was good. I don't recommend ordering the veggies, they were stale. The beef and chicken both were good but I would recommend getting the chicken as it was more flavorful than the beef. The portion size was good. We rotate between spring roll, miso soup, steamed vegetables and dumplings. The Cali roll should have avocado, but it's still not terrible. We love that everything is made to order on the spot so you can see it. It is delicious and very filling, usually leaving leftovers for dinner. We usually try not to sit in because the ventilation isn't great. It smells weird in there and stuffy, so we tend to take it home or sit outside in the little chairs to eat so we can have fresh air.
