My boyfriend and I lived here from Sept 2015-June 2016 and I'd say my experience was pretty great! Claudia in the office was wonderful, I interacted with her for the most part. The side of the building that we lived on was pretty quiet, which was nice, and our neighbors were friendly. The building is super dog friendly and there are dog waste bins all over the property, which unfortunately some people do not take advantage of. There is no weight limit on their animal policy, and for the most part there were no problems and people's dogs were well trained. They are constantly doing updates around the complex, which can be a hassle, but for the most part they give you enough advance notice. There were a couple of times where we got notices that our dogs had to be out of the apartment with like 24 hour notice. If you work full-time like my boyfriend and I do, that can be hard but that happened pretty rarely. The upside to the updates is that the place looks really nice, and they are always doing projects to make the community better. We also really loved that our apartment had an in unit washer/dryer, which our last place didn't have. read more

Very happy with Haver Hill. On-site staff is friendly and helpful. If you're looking to move, talk to Claudia. She's great! Love the location, walking distance to almost everything I need. Our apartment has new carpet and appliances. Sound deadening windows work really well which is important since our unit is on a street with heavy traffic. There were a few minor things that needed to be fixed after we moved in and maintenance took care of them the same day. Two thumbs up for Gabriel! Love the in unit washer and dryer. The pool is great, always clean and I love the poolside grills. Would have given 5 stars but parking SUCKS, security needs to be better (vehicle theft and vandalism is ongoing problem). No central air is a significant quality of life issue also. Overall though, I'm very happy with Haver Hill. read more

I lived here for a year and enjoyed it very much. The complex was kept very clean. Most of the staff was very friendly. The maintenance staff was wonderful and timely with requests. The gym was clean and had many different machines to use. The only complaint was the parking... but that is how Fullerton is anywhere you go. In fact, it is very convienent to have the Kohls parking lot to park in if your guests are not staying overnight. The location of the complex was perfectly centered around all the grocery stores and food joints. The complex is very quiet for how big it is. If you go to school at CSUF you will be there in under ten mins. Overall, great place. Live here!! read more

When I first moved to Haver Hill in April 2015, I felt a good energy there & felt very welcomed by staff, residents & their pets. I lived in a 2 bedroom in the J building. These apartments have a good amount of living space & come with the main appliances such as Washer/Dryer, Gas stove, Fridge AC Generator. I own a dog. My dog loved going out for walks to maybe come across another dog on the path. There are dog poop bag stations at different corners of the property making it easy to dispose. Inside the gates of the apartments, it is pretty open with lots of green & trees so its nice being out. The only negative things i could truly say about Haver Hill was noise. Some neighbors would run down hallways & stairs at late times at night & then also landscaping in the morning. Also, I couldn't really play music how i wanted to without the ppl below complaining about the bass. I mean its an apartment, so if you need quietness, get a house with more space? lol I am now moved out due to a roommate situation but all in all, I had a great living experience here. Haver Hill has renovated a lot within the 8 months of living there & they still are. The Staff members such as Claudia in the main office were always very nice, understanding & willing to help with anything me & roommates needed! Haver Hill is a great apartment community! The office staff, the maintenance crew, and the overall care of the Haver Hill team make this apartment a great place to call home. They are extremely responsive to any issues that arise day or night. They even have 24/7 emergency maintenance and on-site security for the premises. I call this place Haver Hell, not Haver Hill. This review is long overdue. I lived here in 2012, and I really just need to share my experience while living here. I love the garden setting and apartment I lived at. We rented the one bedroom that came with washer and dryer in our apartment which was super convenient and I loved it. I love my two closets which gave me so much room to fit all my clothes. Most one bedroom apartments doesn't come with 2 closets but this place does and i honestly loved this place for that! I got a great view, It wasn't full pool view because I didn't want the noise from there, I was more to the right of it. I didn't really use the pool or jacuzzi, the jacuzzi just didn't look clean to me, but I really love spending my evening hanging around the pool area. It's not too loud and at that time I felt it was fine. They were adding on the gates in the front so I felt like this apartment was very safe place to live. We got along with the security guard and he was always looking out for us and helped us with any extra parkings if there was any because if you only have one car port here, be prepared to look for parking here esp. after a long days of work, good luck with more stress! Now let me get to all my complaints to why I moved out of here just after 6 months living here and why I would never come back to this place or recommend anyone to live here. My numero uno complaint that still gets me until today was; I had another apartment offer elsewhere while apartment searching, I forgot the guy's name that was helping me but i found out later he was also new to this property management. My biggest concern was parking esp with two cars. He told me, I have one car port and where we live at we have street parking without any problems. I asked him we can park anywhere on the streets and he said yes street parking is available. Boy was I LIED to!!!!! yes LIES!!!!! The very first night we moved in, guess what??? We got a parking ticket!!!! Why????? Because as it turned out we can't park anywhere here!!! We could only park on our side of the apartment building, not across the street on the other side. There are no signs indicating where you can or can't park, or where the parking starts or stops. Yes it's Fullerton City's fault for these issues, but management of this apartment should not LIE to me and tell me i can park anywhere. I went to management to tell them about this that on my first night i moved in I shouldn't have to deal with this kind of bull and that being lied to was just wrong. Their response was, "The guy told you that actually just started with our company too, so i don't think he knows that you can't park there." Okay so it's my fault I got a ticket and your fault for not informing your employees about these stuff??? So I asked management can you help pay for my ticket since it's not my fault had i known I wouldn't get this ticket in the first place because it's their fault I was given wrong info. The b**ch that was managing the place straight out and said sorry we can't do that. I told her it was my first night in this new apartment and you guys lied to me about easy parking that was why I chose this apartment over other apartments. She denies it and told me I have to take care of it with the city. That is strike one!!! I went to confront the guy that told me this when he got in, I forgot his name but he is a heavy built guy working there...if you remember his name please comment on my review. He told me sorry he didn't "know" about no parking across the street. Sure you worked there signing up new tenants all the time and didn't know, sure sure keep telling me that. He then told me from now on I can only park on our side of the apartment, not across the street. So the following day I parked on our side of the apartment, and guess what I got another ticket. I was wondering what the F is going on here?? Like fudge city of Fullerton is that all you do go around citing parking tickets??? I went back to management and asked him again, and he told me to have to park on our side and do not pass the vicinity of the building. I almost exploded with rage. I was horrified and lost with words. I was like now your ass tells me this?? The signs our there is so fucking confusing you can't even see where it says you can't park honestly. So we have how many of us living in these apartment building and how many cars can fit only within the vicinity of the building???? Are you joking me???? Holy!!!! That was strike 2 for me!!!! I honestly like my experience at Haver Hill. My neighbors are quiet which works great with my work schedule. My apartment layout is everything i ever wanted. I finally got to decorate my place exactly how i wanted and the the office was very helpful. When i first moved in and wanted to fix this and that to my liking the staff was very friendly (Ashley, Mike, Anthony, and Audra) and had maintenance right on it. And the maintenance manager is very nice too. When he would come and fix stuff he would chat with me and he seemed very genuine. I dont see why everyone complains about the trash diggin. At first it looked a little fishy, but i ended up talking to a few of the ladies and they told me they lost their jobs and cans is their only income. Now, when they come by i grab my cans and bottles and help them out a little. They mean no harm : ) read more

We got approved one day and wanted to move in the next, when an other person from the management told us we don't meet the requirements for income. I honestly don't know what all the fuss is about. This place is not as bad as some people are making it out to be. I've lived in Fullerton at Tribeca, Homestead and now Haver Hill and let me tell you these people have their act together better than most. The Good: -5 star maintenance staff. If I call the office the work is always done the same day. -Office staff is great. I can't speak for anyone else but they have always delivered for me. The guy I leased with never oversold the place to me. It is exactly as it was described. -Horticulture. The grounds are ALWAYS well kept (aside from the occasional jerk that doesnt clean up after their dog). It's really nice to see green grass and colorful flowers. The Bad: -Parking is tricky but if you want to live in Fullerton you have to put up with their confusing parking laws (shame on this city by the way). STILL not as bad as Homestead or Tribeca. -I had one crazy neighber who was very disruptive but I was assured he was being evicted and 3 days later he was :) -Plumbing. This seems to be an ongoing issue in my building. Once a month or so the water is out while they make repairs but I have a life and do stuff during the day so it doesn't really effect me. The Ugly: -The lady that lives down the hall from me hahaha. I just wanted to to share this with everyone. I read through the reviews here and thought they were pretty unfair. I really don't know what people expect for the price but I feel like you get what you pay for, and that is certainly the case here. read more

i can't wait until i move out. if you are a college student then this place is probably heaven to you because you have a thunder of party music coming from every which way and the music plays all through the morning to 3 or 4am and once even 7am! the lady at the leasing office even said there was a high turn over rate because most of the residents are students at cal state fullerton. there is hardly ever parking but that's too be expected so i can't really gripe about that. i almost feel bad about giving the complex a 1 star rating but when you are told one price and then another while you're almost signing all the documents and the original rent is now $200 more i don't really have that same feeling. apparently if you live closer to where the dog owners are it's a little more quiet but there are plenty of inconveniences that may make you wish you hadn't. the people in the office are nice but i just was not happy living here and a friend of mine is looking to move out as well. read more

Thank you so much haverhill for giving so much mental pressure. I live in two bedroom apartment since 2017 December. I faced the thumping problem from upstairs for a month once and then when we complained it was stop . I still live in haverhill and its been around 10 days i cannot sleep, i cannot study, because the apartment which is just above mine always creates thumping sound. Its not even human foot step its that loud it feels like numbers of hulk landed. The sound goes 6pm to 1am in the evening and starts from 8am to 11am and other times sounds are tolerable because its not that huge. We have been complaining to leasing office several times but it seems like they cannot solve the problem. Two members of leasing office came to our room and heard the noise and they always says we informed them. Sometimes they said their routine are different, they come late night so you guys have to understand but how can we understand when we have 7am or 8am class. I always study at night because i cannot focus when there is noise. Leasing office recommended us to contact patrol officer in evening. We called them three times and they said they came here for every call but they did not hear no noise so they return back. They were very rude at us, in-fact they blame us for blaming upstairs neighbor for no reason.They also said its sound from the way, when anyone walks it goes to everybody's room. If it goes to everybody's room-then why do we feel like there is somebody thumping from one room to another in our two bed room apartment. One staff said the upstairs neighbor will move after one and half months because their leasing is finishing, but it does not mean we have to tolerate that thing for whole one and half month right?? There is always cigarettes and weed smoke coming in my room which i created solution myself by not opening the window at all. There is also always either dominos , Fedex, carpet cleaner, U haul vehicle right behind my vehicle for which i have to wait more than fifteen minutes sometimes to take my vehicle out from parking area which i never complained. You guys have been saying that we were not able to verify the sound how can you verify the sound by sitting in a leasing office. We face problem everyday, everynight and you guys stay in leasing office and say sorry we could not verify the sound. As you ask us to contact patrol we did and they were so rude when they came. They said that they did not hear sound, walking in a way they will hear the sound that comes from upstairs. And for other option that you offered (30 days to leave the apartment if we want) those people disturbing us every late night as if they are playing basketball at mid night and you are asking us to leave is that a solution? That is why we came to this apartment?? read more

This review is way over due! I cannot say enough about how great the Haver Hill staff is, especially Gabi. We lived here for a while and between management, Gabi and the maintenance crew on site, my husband and I have zero complaints. They are professional, communicate well, were always there to help when ever it was needed! Its hard to find great staff these days at apartment complexes. I am sure many would agree with that. The Haverhill staff is one of a kind in Fullerton. I will continue to refer my friends and family here if they ever need a home in Fullerton. Keep up the great work Haverhill! read more

I lived in Haver Hill for almost 4 years between 2009-2013 first in the E building on the first level, then G26 on the 3rd floor.. **Favorites: Pool and hot tub, IN-UNIT washer/dryer :D, security, parking spot flexibility, Very spacious apartments, quiet under the circumstances of living very close to the University, quick maintenance repairs (I also only had a $99 deposit upon signing, and paid $0 for any move-out repairs/cleaning). **Cons: thin walls, no windows in bathrooms so mold was something I had to keep cleaning up, and haver hill customer service reps kept changing so building a relationship with management was very difficult (although they are now under new management), rising rent every year (however we were able to negotiate a few times). Every building has its problems, but I stayed in this building the entire time throughout college because the pros always seemed to outweigh the cons. It is an older building so it had a very "homie" feeling. ***I lived in Apartment G26: to anyone living there now or that has, have you had any paranormal experience? My husband and I moved in last year and we love Haver Hill! We feel quite blessed to be in these beautiful apartments and the biggest PRO is the washer/dryer unit in the apartment. So far our experience with management (Claudia and Maricela) have been great! Both ladies are very sweet and helpful when needed. I remember Haver Hill before Essex took over and I would have never taken a look. We researched and viewed 10 apartments and Haver Hill was the winner and an easy decision for us. Since the new management the improvements are quite obvious from the outside and now living here we love it! read more

I would much rather not give a bad review, but my experience with the leasing office was less than what I would expect. The actual apartment was great, I liked the common areas and the fact that we were allowed to have pets... but I'd have to agree that it's overpriced. The people that worked in the leasing office were nice, and some of them helpful, but I found others to be incompetent. I had to go back several times to resolve an issue, and it never really did until I moved out. They also don't emphasize the fact that you have to give them EXACTLY 60 days notice before you plan to move out, or you pay daily past that date. Overall, just blah. read more

Haver Hill has a lot of great pros that make living here nice and pleasant. The leasing office and maintenance staff respond to your requests quickly and courteously and the grounds are always maintained extremely well. The staff really does make that extra effort to answer your questions and get to know you, as well. However, my main issue is that there is constantly construction going on, whether it is small like redoing the community mailboxes (which definitely look a lot nicer) or large like taking over part of your apartment for pipe maintenance. HH gives plenty of notice and works with you to make sure that the process goes as smooth as possible but it is an inconvenience. However, each project has improved the community and will make it nicer for future tenants. I would also definitely recommend purchasing the additional parking spot as street parking at night is extremely limited all over Fullerton. Overall, I really do appreciate all the work the staff puts into making this community great and would highly recommend it :) read more

From the minute I stepped in the leasing office I loved this place! The staff is super attentive and friendly (thank you Duane for everything!), the grounds are well kept, maintenance is easily scheduled, and it is the friendliest dog community I have lived in. Took a tour.. immediately loved the smell of the leasing office. However the tour was bland and I was unimpressed by the community. However they do do their best to keep the property clean and presentable. The apartment was just not for me. NO central A/C was the deal killer. I'm sorry...we live in SO CAL it heats up. But other than that I feel as if they have a nice community for the price. Much better than others in the area. So if you guys don't mind buying your own a/c units and Personal heaters this maybe a good step in the right direction just not for me. read more

The Haver Hill Apartment complex has been a wonderful place for our daughter to live over the past year while attending CSUF. We have renewed our lease for a second year because of many factors. Chiefly, it feels safe and secure, there are security officers on duty at all times, the management is attentive and fair and responsive to her needs in all areas, including maintenance, safety, holding parcels, etc. Gabby and Brianna have been very helpful and are always very friendly to both us and our daughter. It is an older apartment complex, but it is maintained well. Being old, the walls are perhaps thinner? and our daughter has had a neighbor complain several times about noise from her apartment above, but management told her they would handle that. It is an apartment complex--certainly, people understand that means others live around you, their dogs bark, their children cry, their car engines rev, their cupboards slam, their alarm clocks go off--none of these things are out of the ordinary. Our daughter feels comfortable at Haver Hill and it is a close and convenient location for work and school. It is a good place to call home at this point in her life. read more

I moved in this place because it was cheap, very cheap--inside and out! The building is ugly. The counters and floors are junk, white paint and cheap linoleum. Expect every little speck of dirt or mark from another object like a pan to show. The neighbors are mostly students, who either make noise or inundate your apartment with smoke. I was also close to the pool and could hear kids screaming, sometimes all day until the pool closed at 10PM. The place is run by Lyon Management. The office staff is normally friendly, and maintenance was normally pretty quick. The catch. Quick, cheap repairs. The cheap closet doors fell off the track weekly and were never completely fixed in three years. There is also frequent theft. It's not unusual to see police cars there on a weekly basis. I know if two B&Es in 2012, and my car window was broken a couple of years ago. Don't leave anything valuable in your vehicle, as the surrounding areas are full of hoodlums. The parking sucks as you probably know by now. 7 guest spots. Fullerton is horrible, so be careful if you park on the street, and consider your or your guests' vehicles towed if you park by Kohls ($250-300). Take pictures of your place when you get there and when you leave. I was so busy cleaning for two days, and even with the help of a friend, scrubbing everything down to the base boards, the assholes charged me a full clean ($120) plus a $60 carpet cleaning charge (which you will lose, unless of course you're one of those fortunate individuals who just happens to own a "truck-mounted machine"...). According to the letter I just received, there were no errors in these charge, so the next step is to threaten to take them to small claims court--anything to keep the bastards from getting their money as long as possible :) read more

I do not understand why this complex is rated so low. I lived there for about 2 years and I never had a problem. Yes, there are a lot of college kids here but it's pretty quiet. At least there are no little kids running around screaming. Haha. Management's cool too. Parking sucks if you don't have a spot, but whatever, you'll eventually find parking. Haha. My fiancé and I moved in about a month ago and we absolutely love our apartment! The location is central to many hotspots like Downtown Fullerton and CSUF. Our neighbors our friendly and very welcoming. Claudia has been an absolute delight to work with while signing our lease and answering any question we have. Haver Hill has recently put in new carpet in the hallways and re-slurred the parking spaces. The grounds are always keep pretty clean and the pool is perfect! I am a future resident. Me and my dad move in next week and we are so excited for a fresh new start at Haver Hill. We were helped by Gaby and Lisa and let me tell you these lady's are the sweetest!! They definitely have made moving here so exciting and made it less stressful. Me and my dad are sad Gaby is leaving because she welcomed us like family. I moved in and was loving the apartment, but a few months later I began having pest problems. From May 2014 through August 2014 I have had three incidents with large cockroaches in my apartment. I have reported it multiple times and pest control has come out, but nothing has been fixed. The grounds and apartments look nice, but don't be fooled! read more

I have lived here since January and I absolutely love it. Quiet, very safe, totally close to everything I need. The ladies in the office are completely helpful, kind and very patient. I have had several issues with my dishwasher, making on-line payments, and random questions. This team in the office have been forbearing to say the least. Maricela, Claudia, and Maria are completely amazing in the office. I frequently speak to Claudia who has been my right hand. She has been sweet, kind, and diligent with all of my immediate requests. For me it's all important and I need it done yesterday. I can be very persistent, however I love how she is completely accommodating and understanding of my drama. I sincerely appreciate all the ladies and their immediate response. Then the gentleman in maintenance Luis, Javier, and Daniel teamwork makes the dream work!!! We have lived in Haver Hill for almost a year and could not be happier. The grounds are beautiful and always very well kept and the leasing office staff is impeccable! I definitely recommend Haver Hill to anybody I know. One downfall is there seems to be some residents who don't care too much about their community and I have seen trash dropped in random places; however, this is always picked up in a very reasonable amount of time by maintenance. Also, we did have a small problem with cockroaches but the ladies in the office took care of this problem as soon as they were notified. Beautiful apartments!!!! Great managers! Maintenance are always swift and efficient! Very quiet environment! There's an additional office for residents (perfect for students to study) , pretty nice gym , nice swimming pool, gated community, beautiful landscaping, and the apartments are very spacious. My favorite part about my apartment, is that it comes with a washer and dryer (saves me money on washing my many loads of laundry lol) . I feel so secure living here. The community is totally secured and the ladies at the leasing office are so helpful. I always end up seeing Claudia every morning when i leave for office and i end up asking her a favor of returning my parcel to the UPS or I end up asking her my rent and the aum amount every month so that i could pay the exact amount online. Coming to the pool and spa, i love spending most of my time, its so relaxing. I would highly recommend this my friends.
