Food and service was great. Highly recommend if you are in the area! Place was packed as we were leaving!

Great food; quick, polite service. Perfect place for dinner and drinks before going to MSG.

We owe a thank you to our server for going above and beyond. The kitchen was very backed up and we had to wait a long time for our food. We were feeling frustrated because part of our group had tickets to the rangers. BUT she made it right by comping the delayed items. Will definitely be back!

I really loved the service at Haymaker. I volunteer for a nonprofit and was planning a get together. Haymaker didn't ask for a minimum spend and offered me a secluded area. Sold. The staff were great. Everyone was super friendly and we had a great experience. The food is fine, some dishes are better than others but you don't come here for the food. Drinks are good and prices are decent. I personally enjoyed the fries, fig flatbread, and the mac n cheese.

An impromptu stop after arriving in the city, Haymaker Bar and Kitchen was exactly the holdover we needed before dinner. We swung by midday--kind of in that slow window after lunch but before the dinner rush--and the place was pretty quiet, which honestly suited us just fine. There was another couple at the bar and a local chatting with the bartender, so the vibe was low-key and relaxed. They had great beer selections, and the apps definitely delivered. We were a bit hungry after an early morning of travel, and yes, we finished everything we ordered. While it's probably not a spot we'd actively seek out on future visits (we come to NYC 3-4 times a year), it served its purpose perfectly that day. If you happen to be in the area, it's worth a quick stop. But if you're hunting for standout spots to plan into your itinerary, this one might be skippable.

Quick service, pretty drinks. The cocktails were a bit sweet and a little light on the alcohol. Also a little messy, the bartender spilled the drink down the side of the glass and didn't bother to clean it before serving.

Cool spot. Long bar with lots of seats too. Food was good and drinks were great. Definitely will be back!

Great food and reasonable prices given proximity to MSG! Let's dive in... Deviled Eggs (5/5): These were beautifully piped deviled eggs and the filling itself had this toothsome tang and flavor to die for. Potato cauliflower croquets (5/5): This melt-in-your-mouth shareable made me feel healthy (shoutout to cauliflower) but in reality this was just so tasty I would order it every time. The dish has a delegate breading and a filling that melts like butter when you bite in. Pork Ribs (4/5): Solid pork ribs. Obviously this isn't a BBQ place so it's not the world's best. I found this mildly over-cooked/dry at parts but everywhere else it was falling off the bone. Loved the mini salad it came with though! Drinks (5/5): An increíble selection of beers, cocktails and non alcoholic beverages! Ambiance (4/5): Love the wood flooring and accents, and dimmable lighting throughout. We were seated in the back and one annoying thing was when the front of the restaurant messed with the lights it impacted our area too -- which on one occasion suddenly turned the lights back to 100% which startled us. Service (5/5): Lights aside, service was fantastic despite being in the very back of the establishment. Our server was incredibly attentive. TL;DR: If you're seeing a show at The Garden this place is a must-stop! Great for sharables and at prices you can't beat!!

Great food with a great atmosphere. It can get loud, as expected in a NYC Bar, but we'll worth the visit. Staff extremely knowledgeable and you will find all types of different drinks you won't get anywhere else. Come for drinks, stay for the food. Reservations recommended.

Tried for a bar stop in drink b4 game and dinner. ENTRANCE - no host so as you walk in bar on the right. A railroad design with a couple of booths on the left and a few tables in the back. For the rush hour LOL better make reservations as there are not a lot of tables. Bar area holds maybe 20 folks. DECOR - very brown colors around but more modern looking overall. Seems like the late hours will have low lighting - good for couples laying low and out of sight for the friendly secret tryst MENU - super small with very few choices. Interesting that they offer deviled eggs. It's more of an American tapas selection less the Spanish vibe The beverage menu is also limited. For beer about 20 choices but includes micro and IPA! Vino is also limited. Your choice 4 reds or 5 whites. I tried the Malbec from Argentina that was passable but was $14 a glass so u can't expect better for that. The good news for spirits - a full bar It also seems like they allow beer sample tastes at the tender's discretion I'm sure BAR TENDER - very pleasant and graceful. But this place has local regulars for sure that get more conversation FOOD - we only had wings at the bar. And let me say they were super good and they offer 5-6 different varieties. I'd come again for wings. PRICE - pretty much average. Depending upon the number of appetizers you get and I'd give price range a $$ to $$$ by New York City standards

This little sports bar was pretty chill, the service was pretty good the waitress was super nice, and gave nice recommendations. Food was pretty solid also. One thing I wasn't too much of a fan on was the extra salted French fries. They taste pretty good but they could have been better without the extra salt if I'm being honest.

I like this place. Everything we had was made deliberately. Great flavors and well executed. Also really good friendly service.

Service is slow. Pass go if you have someplace to be. Half empty, you'll wait more than 45 minutes for your food.

Excellent food (steak, salmon, and bass) in a pleasant atmosphere. Service was a bit spotty and sluggish, though equally pleasant.

The atmosphere definitely caters to the tourist crowd. The music was okay, but I wish it had a more upbeat, youthful vibe to match the energy of Times Square. We started with the poke nachos, and they were incredibly fresh and easily my favorite appetizer. I highly recommend ordering them. The boneless wings, however, were disappointingthey were over breaded and didn't have much chicken inside. The Caesar salad was just average, nothing memorable. The BBQ burger was cooked perfectly and was hands down the best entrée we ordered. I'd definitely come back just for that. The drinks were good, but they're definitely overpriced, even by Times Square standards. truffle fries would of been good but they were cold Overall, it's a solid stop if you're in the area, especially for the burgers and poke nachos. Great service and convenient location, but some menu items are definitely better than others.
