Nice 3 story restaurant with no access to the parking lot. You have to go around the block to enter on the ground floor . And Easter brunch buffet menu was average . Chaffing Dish were laid out on Bar Counter and too high and the bar area is too dark , it also needs better lighting to see what is in it. Several improvised area scattered around for bread etc. The only thing I good was the smoked salmon. The beef was too tough , not edible definitely not prime . It was crowded but service was good . One of my favorite restaurants in the area especially when the I'm hosting clients and anything business related. The service has been very inconsistent. That's why im giving 4 stars. I'm writing this due to my last server sucked and my wife told me to remember the names of the ones who take care of you and this won't happen again. He told us that they marble their steaks. Please explain to me how this happens. (This was a month ago maybe he was informed since then).You need to ask for Shane or Trent. The times I didn't have one of them the experience was just not up to par. This is a Preimer steakhouse with an excellent whiskey selection and overwhelming wine list. Shane sold us on the Hill country steak platter, Which is 2 Tomahawks 2 garlic fillets shrimp and crab with 6 sides a bottle of wine we got the Orin swift machete and house salads for the table. Went with a former co-worker for dinner. My co-worker had reserved a table which was good as the restaurant was filling up and might have had to wait. I have mixed feelings about this place. Let me start with things that appealed to me. 1. Convenient locations 2. Spacious 3. Modern 4. Excellent Service Now there are some issues with the restaurant like the following: 1. The restaurant is spacious but the tables are too close by. We had to push our table back otherwise the back of my chair and the one behind me would have been 6 inch apart. 2. The lighting is muted so much so that the folks on the table besides ours were having difficulty reading the menu 3. The options for vegetarians are less than limited. My co-worker who is a vegetarian selected two sides for dinner. Having sides for dinner does not speak well for a restaurant 4. I ordered the Cornmeal crusted Catfish that had a little more Cornmeal than required. The plate seemed crowded with the fish was served on the fries. 5. The noise level was high. This is a kind of place where out-of-town folks on expense accounts can hang out. Not a place where I will go for a good relaxed evening with my spouse. read more

Danny is not just the best bar tender, but the best customer experience we have had in quite a while. For anyone that misses someone that cares and thinks about their customers and their needs, you need to go see Danny. Great service from hosts who offered us several seating options for our comfort. It gets crowded on a Friday night so reservations are good. It's loud but we loved the noise. Casey was our server and he was phenomenal. Great personality with great food and drink suggestions. The redfish is great. And get the onion rings as an appetizer. Just do it. Came here late on a Friday evening. It was hot but we were greeted and seated right away on the second floor. Our waiter was Santiago. He was great and knowledgeable about each dish at Haywire. Since it our first time eating here he took it upon himself to move us to a better lighted seating. This was an awesome gesture which we really appreciated. It was very busy but I couldn't help to observe how every team member in our area did their job and did it very well. The manager for the area was Payton. Hope I am spelling here name right? She took her job with great attention to detail. She has a small flashlight that she would do her quality control to check if surfaces were up to her standard. Almost Michelin-esque. I can truly appreciate this detail from her because it made me feel comforted by the cleanliness of our section. It's hard to get superb service at restaurants nowadays especially after the pandemic. Haywire went above and beyond. We will definitely take our family and friends here when they are in town. Glad we stopped by here. Their food, service and attention to detail is 5-star +. Absolute Satisfaction!!! Beautiful 3 story restaurant. Amazing Staff. Thank you Kevin. He was my waiter. He was super friendly and informative and he gave great Recommendations. To top it off the VP of Operatioms Judd Fruia was working at the end of the bar where I was sitting and he was interactive and friendly. He told me how my meal was popular and featured on Bon Apetite magazine a few years ago. My meal was Delicious and very comforting. It hit home for me. I got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans. And for desert I was Blessed with a complimentary Bread pudding, thanks to Judd, because my birthday was the next day. The bread pudding was to die for. 1 out of 5 I give them a 10. My newest Favorite restaurant. It was my first time visiting Haywire. I'm very Happy and pleased. Train your staff in professional manners and ways properly perform their duties when it comes to addressing the customers. He later tried to redeem his mistakes. I was offered by one of the managers to come back and give it a try and boy was it was more disappointing this time. 1st the hostess on the 1st floor never once looked up at me to greet me. She kept her eyes on the screen and told me the hostess on the 2nd floor will take us to our table. Oh boy here we go again. 2nd floor and same thing. I didn't feel welcomed. Low tone. I honestlygot that stuck upvibe from them. You guys. Isnt their job is to make you feel welcome? While we waited for our food my friend's glass of water had food stuck on the outside of the glass. It looked like bird poop. It was disgusting. I ordered the chicken and waffles. Chicken was cooked to perfection however, the waffle was hard and burnt. My eggs were over easy so I asked for over medium and the chef told the waitress that the eggs were already over medium so he will cook them overhard. Breakfast is MY FAVORITE FOOD!!!!!! The egg wasn't cooked over medium. It wasn't even edible. This is not a good place for brunch. The waitress said dinner was a better experience but how do you mess up breakfast? It's the easiest thing to cook! I was better off at IHOP. Jack brunch was wack. On a positive note, I did tell the waitress that Jack said he would take care of me and the waitress ended up comping our bill. It was only $33.00 we left her a $14 tip. We walked in expecting professional service and a good meal, but then everything went haywire. Sad! Starting with the epitome of the evening, after my wife had been served her salad, one of the waiters, an awkward tall fellow with glasses, wandered through and asked, "Would you like pepper for your salad, ma'am? After receiving a "yes", he proceeded to bring the tall peppermill and smack it down on the top of our table, rather than actually grind the pepper for the lady as is customary. Back again. Visted the lower level bar for the second time in two weeks. The social atmosphere of the lower level is great. You do not even recognize the bar is part of the restaurant. My co-workers and I had a happy hour here welcoming new team members. We had a space with a few outdoor sofas and chairs for use to congregate, eat, and drink. We were on the third floor which is semi-covered, which was kind of hot during the summer but luckily there was a cool breeze and large fans above us. Sticking with the happy hour menu, I got the Front Porch Swing, which came with grapefruit vodka, pineapple, and mint, among other stuff. This ended up being a very refreshing drink, and not too sweet! We also shared chips and queso, which was pretty good. There was some delay in getting served our drinks and food, but it was a really busy Friday afternoon and a lot of people came to play. The restaurant is gorgeous, as it has three floors, each of which can cater to whatever experience you are looking for. The first floor seems like meeting area, with a bar and lounge seating. The second floor has a private dining area, as well as a very large main dining area with a semi outdoor patio that looks over the box garden. The third floor, as mentioned before, is semi covered and is mainly a kick-it spot to have drinks with a full bar being there. There is also an airsteam and a patio that also overlooks the box garden. Overall, this was a pretty cool spot to check out and have drinks with friends! Went to Haywire last Friday to have a drink at the roof-top bar. Great place and great service. Appetizers are very good. THE ONLY KNOCK I have about this place is a POOR selection of tequila. Sure they have tequila but the list is mostly for mixing. I tried to order a glass of tequila from their list and they didn't have any of the 3 first top choices, like Lalo, Teramana, and I forgot the 3rd. They proposed that I try Cas Amigos, which I am familiar with but that's NOT a good "sipping" tequila. We are in Texas after all. When they have good tequila I'll give this place a 4, and maybe a 5 LOL. read more

We were looking forward to picking up a curbside kit after we decided to cancel our travel plans for Thanksgiving this year. However in true 2020 fashion, there were several miscommunications resulting in us still having no meal plans secured the night before Thanksgiving.
