The appointment took place in Nancy's house, but she has a room specifically for her services. The room was very calming and decorated nicely. She is one of the nicest and most accommodating ladies I've met, and her life stories are very encouraging. I got a lash lift and tint, as opposed to extensions. My eyelashes were non-existent, but Nancy made it work! My eyelashes looked great for my international trip. After about a month or two, it started going back to normal. It lasted longer than she mentioned, which is good! The only issue I had was that it hurt so bad, my eyelid was burning and I tested up a little bit. She said it was normal, but my eyelid looked burnt afterwards. Also, my lashes looked bent and not curled. I had a lash lift and lash dye and am pleased with the results. This was my first time having either procedure, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I felt Nancy did a good job. She made sure I was comfortable and kept up a nice conversation throughout the appointment. I'm looking forward to trying a new procedure she told me about, semi-permanent mascara. On a side note about customer service - she had to cancel our first appointment, and was a bit late for the second, but apologized and made up for it with a nice foot scrub while the lash lift was processing. She has been working with me on my individual skin issues as well as implementing techniques to help me relax, which is not easy for me. Awful. Just terrible with absolutely NO customer service skills. Makes appointments and cancels them at the last minute. Double-books and doesn't show for appointments. Offered a free massage and then took it back, claiming she didn't have appointments, but every date she offered were dates I already told her I couldn't make. Never once apologized for canceling and missing my appointment. I have texts showing her incompetence in detail. read more

She makes me very comfortable very good energy makes my day better and I don't go anywhere else. A friend bought me a Groupon for a facial. I called and left a message to make an appointment. I received a text back asking me when I would like to come in. I sent in my availability which included a few different dates but always after 4PM on a weekday due to work obligations but didn't hear back. The next day I sent another text asking if I could schedule the appointment. I received a text back saying that there was nothing after 2PM I responded back asking if there were EVER appointments after 2PM? The response back was that she is booked up for a month. I asked for a few dates in a month for the 4PM slots and I would pick one that worked for me. The response? Tell her when I'm available and she would let me know if she was free. Hello!?!? I already tried that! I was trying to conform to HER schedule because she clearly didn't want to work within mine. By the way, this whole conversation took THREE days because she isn't responsive. I ended up telling her that it really shouldn't be THIS difficult to book an appointment. I told her that I would have my friend contact Groupon for a refund. This was extremely poor customer service. A business owner who won't pick up the phone to talk to a potential client? Disappointing at best. read more

I went to Nancy for a massage and I was very impressed. She made the experience very relaxing and pleasurable. I'm not one who likes the really deep tissue type of massage because it tends to really hurt me. However, Nancy seemed to know just by the feel of my muscles which ones she needed to be worked on softly and which ones she could be more aggressive with without causing me any pain. She was very knowledgeable in knowing how to work the areas that required attention while continuously making it feel wonderful and very relaxing. I'm also always weary of dreaded awkward conversation while trying to relax and enjoy the massage; however, Nancy seemed to know when to talk and when to remain silent so I could just enjoy the experience. This is my first time writing a review. I had to go through the trouble of downloading yelp and signing up for an account just so I could leave this review. I had a "lash lift" from Nancy and I regret it with all my heart. First I explained to her exactly what I wanted and she said that's exactly what I would get. I wanted a vertical lift and instead she used a perming rod that would give them a curl instead. She said it would give me the results I wanted even though I questioned her multiple times. Also my lashes were pretty long to begin with and when I left they were about half the size. I don't know if she used the wrong concentration of chemicals or buys cheap ones but it ate away at half of my lashes. If that wasn't enough, there were some lashes that were still completely straight because she didn't adhere them properly. Instead of offering to fix them right away she told me to call her in 2 weeks. I regret ever calling her and wasting $50. I can't believe she still charged me after all this, I was so shocked and in disbelief that I just wanted to get away from her. I didn't get what I asked for and even worse now my lashes look horrible even with mascara. They are so short. read more
