Pros: The interior looks nice. Up to date furnishing and had LED lighting. Cons: Sometimes the screen would black out during a song. Not a factor if you know every single word to your song choice, but hey I definitely depend on seeing the lyrics. Also there is a 15% cleaning fee. Suggestions: Improve the A/C, we had an average size party for Karaoke (about 8) and it started to feel like a sauna. Overrated. The software is clunky and difficult to use. Spent a lot of time just trying to find familiar songs. The microphone and sound equipment was all messed up. This karaoke place is FUN! I went with 1 other person and got the smallest room. The smallest room contains one flat screen tv with a touch screen control menu where you can choose songs from English, korean, Japanese, to Cantonese and mandarin. Which is great for me because I love Kpop songs so it was fun to dance and "attempt" to sing to it while the music video plays in the back. The volume, bass and treble are adjustable with other sound clips available at the end too! Ex. At the end of my song my friend played a loud applause. The interior is very pretty! Crystal LED along the whole hallway, smoke free smell, cute microphones and more! They also have a menu available. Just your standard french fries, takoyaki, wings, udon, etc. The rooms range from small, medium and large. The largest room contains a mic stand, two flat screens and a disco ball so I can't wait to try that room next! This place is located on the second floor to your left of the escalators! My friends booked the largest room here for a wedding after party. We had over 20 people in the room. The rooms don't seem to have very good sound insulation as you can hear the music and people singing from the lobby. The music selection seemed ok, but the computer that you select the songs from appeared kind of old school. The venue didn't look that clean, but it was also hard to tell because it was pretty dark in the rooms. Great place for gatherings or occasions! Came here yesterday early evening w/ friends. Made reservations 2 weeks prior and we got the VIP room which was spacious. First time coming at Heartbeat ktv karaoke and the LAST. My group of friends and I totaling 10 people came here to sing, relax and enjoy the evening after a nice dinner. When we all walked in, not even a "Hello or Hi" from the 2 employees. Just looking on their phones on social media or playing games - Fortnite, lol. You can tell they are just in their early 20's or late teens. They're probably the kids of the owners. About 5 minutes later we all said we're ready for our room. The guy handed us 2 mics and open the door. They didn't ask if we wanted any drinks or to take a look at the menu. Anyways, 2 hours later when we were all done, we paid the bill and left "0" (ZERO) on the tip. The teenager said, " You left the tip blank "? My wife said, "Ya I know". He just rolled his eyes and left. Lol what a joke. C'mon man. Why should you give a tip if the service is terrible. We even cleaned up the room before we left. If not they will charge a fee for cleaning up. Here's a tip: Go some where else people. The service here sucks! We come here every few months to scream or sing at the top of our lungs. Although it's a great outlet, I am disappointed at the how much they charge plus a 15% cleaning fee even though you bought or brought nothing with you into the room. The selection of songs is decent. I ask if they had any available, they said it was busy (totally understand it's a Saturday night.) So I asked what anybody would ask... do you have an estimated wait time or a waitlist? The place looked fine, but definitely needs deep cleaning and a ventilation system. I went with my party of 9 people. The next morning we all had severe eye irritation, constant tears, redness and a consistent stinging/burning sensation. The individuals in my party that were closest to the AC caught it the worst. Literally not a good place to come for a fun karaoke with friends. They advertised that they're open till 3am but made us leave at 1:30 WTH!! We came here to have fun and de stress after work and asked us to leave earlier before their closing time. On top of that, they asked one of our friends that if we pay $100 each (there's 7 of us in a room) if we want to stay till closing time. What the heck is that?!?!? Sorry but we're not that desperate to use their facility. So if you want to patronize or support a business like this... have fun, for us though... not coming back. Used the VIP room! Great for a large group. Fun times. Great music selection (Eng). Sound and mics are decent quality although they cut out randomly here and there. Rooms are decked out with comfy leather chairs and fun lighting. Also in VIP Was a small stage and mic which was fun! Draw backs was the cooling sucked because it was apparently on, but for sure it was a sauna in there. At no time did anyone come in to offer to take orders for food, drinks etc as is usual for VIP spaces in these establishments. Also, I had to drive down, after making the reservation, to put a deposit for the room as they wouldn't take it over the phone. I arrived at 3pm, their opening time and nobody was to be found. The place was locked and wouldn't be opened up till 4pm. Had it not been for my wife's birthday, who loves karaoke, I'd have left and gone elsewhere. We went as a family for my son's 11th birthday last week. We had a real ball. They have an extensive selection of songs and also have the capability of connecting your phone to their speakers if you need to do a song off of YouTube. The acoustics were great. The room was clean and so were the restrooms. We didn't order much food, but the popcorn chicken we ordered was excellent. They also have a good bar. The staff was also very sweet. We were a little worried at first because we weren't sure if this place might be ok to bring a 11 year old and a six year old. We were so happy to see more families as well as groups of high school/ college kids. It doesn't matter what kind of party you want to have, it's after all happening in your private room! They maintain a very clean and welcoming ambiance while still feeling like you are clubbing (with your babies ). Only thing to make sure is that you ask for the volume to be adjusted. We turned ours way down because of the young ears. I also wish they opened a little earlier on the weekends, maybe 4.30 or 5.00. I know my kids and I could easily party down right until their bed time! Or if I my kids drive me nuts, I might just go scream into the mic for an hour... in private... and step out looking completely sane and adjusted!!! (Any parents out there who go for drives alone, just to be able to sing at the top of your lungs?... there's no one to stare at you at the traffic lights! ) So glad we found this place. The machine was very difficult to use, especially for English speakers, the American songs had delayed playback so it was not easy to sing a long to, you can only look up songs by title(not the artist) and half of the songs we researched weren't available, which wasted valuable time, there was no book to research songs, the food was borderline bad, the red wine had gone bad and I had to argue this point when the bill came, there is a hidden room cleaning fee that is pricey, and then the staff asks for a tip. A small group of 4 girls, a few drinks for a little over 3 hours and it was close to $400. We had fun but I think I valued the experience at $200. read more

Amazing place and great service! I've been here twice and it's always been a great experience. The BIG room even has its own stage, which is totally worth the extra bucks. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars is because of the "15% cleaning fee" that they charge. We all thought that it was considered tip for the staff but apparently it's not. I'm glad I asked because we would have left without tipping them, not knowing any better. I believe the management should change this policy and either clear up the language of the 15% cleaning fee or give this "fee" to the servers as tip. You can also order drinks and food to your room, which makes it a cool experience. They said they take reservations on their website but it turns out it's only for the vip room, which is not specified anywhere on their website. I wish they would correct that on their website room page. When I called he said he could put me on a list. "If this isn't a reservation list then what is the point of the list? How does does it help me get a room?" I asked. He didn't understand and changed the subject by asking my name and how many. I gave up at that point since I repeated my question enough. Luckily when I got there the room I wanted was available. We enjoyed our time. They have mic covers to keep the mics clean and hygienic. We had a few hard times ordering food and some food took awhile. At one point we ordered a second fried chicken but it never came so we had to call them back to re,reorder. I also requested a round of tap water, having had some on my previous visit where they gave us blue plastic cups and a pitcher. The server told me they didn't have tap water and that they only had bottled water. I don't know why she tried to up sell the water or why she couldn't understand what tap water or a simple pitcher of water with cups was at first. I'm a little annoyed and worried she was just trying to get me to buy more stuff. Either way I eventually got water. Other then that it was nice that we could just keep going and had no time limit. The place is pretty and there's a good amount of song selection. But this review is pretty much for the food. It was hella nasty. The spicy chicken wings came out like steamed undercooked chicken wings. The guy said we couldn't get a refund, thankfully the manager came out and gave us a refund. Also it took an hour before it even came out. We also ordered popcorn fried chicken, it was so nasty. Ordered takoyaki as well but it never came out. DO NOT get their milk teas here. No good. It tastes like water. It costs $3.75; you might as well go to quickly and get a bubble milk tea for $2.50 and for sure it will be good. The workers told us that people have told them before that their boba milk tea isn't good yet they sell it. Why have something on the menu if you don't know how to make it? We even asked which drink was their favorite and they gave a suggestion on a drink they looked confused making. The awesome star is for the karaoke rooms. Modern feel, didn't feel dirty and lots of recent hits. You can find mostly your top 40 and other popular Asian songs here to sing. They use real music videos and the interior is modern. I don't think there is another karaoke place around Dublin. If there was, it'll be difficult for it to beat this KTV. The price is quite reasonable as well. I went with three other friends on a Friday night around 9pm, stayed for 1.5 hours and paid $10 each. They do include a 15% mandatory room cleaning fee, so consider it a mandatory tip. We didn't get any room service but that didn't bother me. Music system is super easy to work with. Touch screens are responsive. Mics had batteries throughout the stay. Been here four times now and keeps getting better. Sound system is awesome. Updated songs. Can easily find songs based on title, artist, language, genre, etc. Ambiance is wonderful. Food and drinks are also available. We rented the SVIP room that fits appx 20 people. People had so much fun that they made the karaoke room into a dance club Will definitely go back whenever we want to go karaoking. read more
