The cocktail menu is extensive and the drinks are delicious and unique, but this is literally just a place to stop in and grab a drink, then go. Walking back to our cars, we walked by a spot that was playing hip hop loud on speakers and the vibe was lively. We remarked at how we should've gone in there, then looked up and saw it was an insurance agency. Definitely the type of vibe Middle 8 should look into!

The people who run this place keep this place tidy and clean as evidenced by how quickly they cleared my glass and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I missed the rock n' roll memo, but amazingly talented singers including the KJ himself. The sound system can be pretty loud especially the bass, so ended up keeping my ear plugs in. My only major reservation is how the karaoke queue is managed. Couldn't help but notice the bartenders and some patrons who generously tipped got to sing multiple times in a row. One of the patrons tipped $20 and sang three songs in a row. In comparison, I got one song in in the span of three hours. I kind of expected the place to start clearing out after midnight but ppl stuck around and seemed to be having a good time. If you're not into rock n' roll/metal karaoke, they also have pool, shuffleboard, and darts. I do like the KJ and the patrons here, though in the future, I'll just set the expectation that I'll get one song in and set a curfew for myself.

Trash . Kinda laugh able. The dude patrolling the parking lot but running back and forth to the karaoke bar upstairs says we aren't permitted to eat in our car ...so we go upstairs and he follows us upstairs to confirm we can't eat inside... ok .. his reasoning is if we eat in the car " people will think you're breaking in to them ". 1 ... wtf.. lol 2 how can you tell me I can't eat in my car and that eating in my car will be associated to a crime ... very weird behavior. We were literally on our way upstairs to spend money in your Vicinity.. but if you link jack in the box and crime together there's more to unpack here . Side note . We watched others walk in with outside food.. with our problem .. so what's the reasoning..how do you decide who can eat where and why. read more

Heartbeat KTV is such a fun karaoke spot! It's been a minute since my last visit, but the last time we came, they were able to accommodate our big party with ease. The private room was clean, and the mini stage for singing added such a fun touch to the experience! Their couches are super comfy, making it easy to relax while enjoying the vibes. Plus, it's conveniently located right by Koi Palace, so you can have a great dinner and continue the fun here afterward. Highly recommend for a memorable night out! read more

I had an awesome time at Heartbeat KTV! The rooms were clean, there was a wide variety of songs to choose from, and all the staff were super friendly. But what really blew me away was the customer service-- I accidentally left my phone behind, and Joe (the owner) went out of his way to meet me late at night the next day to get it back, even though they were closed! I absolutely love coming here! If there were a monthly pass, I'd sign up in a heartbeat. Pun intended lol! The rooms are beautifully decorated, creating the perfect vibe for singing your heart out. Very nice and clean inside compare to the KTVs in Sacramento. Rating them average because they do not serve any hard liquor. They only have beer and soju. The only place around Dublin/Pleasontan to really hang out after 9pm, however I was a bit disappointed since it was in a family orientated plaza with the surrounding shops closed early. read more

Avoid this place at all cost! Staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. Everyone is on their phones and no one said anything to me when I came in. Asked if they had a room available and they simply said no while looking down on their phones. Overall disappointing experience and wouldn't come back. read more

The details of that incident are posted on a separate review. However on this occasion the man in charge was very professional and deserving of positive recognition. He led with patience and not aggression. He gave me the respect to allow for an explanation and add context to what I felt like was a bad experience at the other venue. Apparently photos had been forwarded to him and he was to enforce a ban which extended to all venues his group was responsible for (a detail that was never explained to me). After discussing everything he agreed to allow us to stay but we agreed we would stay out of the venue we had the issue in from earlier. I appreciate the respect and professionalism and just wanted to let others know how I was treated. Especially on a difficult detail during an all day drinking event such as LepreCon.

The inside is dimly lit and decorated elegantly. I liked the inclusion of honeycombs in the lighting fixtures and even the ice in my drink. The darks and golds almost give Great Gatsby vibes. We all ordered a different cocktail from their signature menu. I got the Electric Nectar. The drink was a little tart and sour. The Buzzed & Bougie was very floral, and The Cusco Comb had a nice balance of flavors. Out of the 3, the Electric Nectar was probably the strongest in terms of tasting the alcohol. I don't particularly prefer sour drinks. If I were to re-order, I would get the Cusco Comb, as it fits my taste profile the most. We also ordered the Burrata to share. It came with 6 pieces of toast, which was perfect and divided evenly among the 3 of us. The burrata was delicious. The cherry gastrique added a nice touch of sweetness without being overly sweet. Here's what we tried: Cusco Comb (1000/10): Absolutely one of the best cocktails I've ever had. It was sweet, strong, and incredibly smooth without the alcohol being overpowering. I loved it so much that I immediately ordered a second one. I would honestly come back just for this drink alone. Honeycomb After Dark (9/10): Such a fun twist on an espresso martini! It reminded me of a Vietnamese coffee with a boozy kick. As the ice cream melted, the drink became even creamier and more delicious. Gin & Tonic (6/10): I'm not personally a gin and tonic fan, but my sister really enjoyed it. She thought the ratio of gin to tonic was spot on. Fries (6/10): Super crispy with a great texture, but they were a little too salty for my taste. The only downside is that there's only one bathroom, so keep that in mind if it's busy. If you're looking for a great spot to grab drinks in downtown, I highly recommend this speakeasy.
